For cinematic purposes, I think the blood drinking thing is classified as the monster that is a vampire- but the actual word means to absorb- be it blood, or energy (dying, sexual, excitment, happiness) The Anime/Manga that kinda touches on this is Chibi Vampire.AmmyK on July 4, 2013, 8:46:25 PM

Thank can't be entirely true, as the vampire trend started in the early stages of Obama's presidency. and yeah i suppose- although i wonder when they will make movies about the different kinds of vampires. the ones most prevalent I believe are categorized as Sanguine. It would be cool to see a big hit movie about the ones who feed off of energy- like crowds, or dying people or whatnot. Featured
