So I have decided that on our Harry Potter week (or however long our celebrations will last), we ought to go all out to have big celebrations. Mother has finished HBP (hehe, i almost typed HBO) so we can include her in discussions we should have about things that will happen. We will make HP fanart. We will make theories. We will have pow-wows with Harry Potter plates, napkins, et cetera (assuming we can find such wonders). It will be fun. We should also bake a HP themed cake. Just because. And we will use coloured frosting to decorate. And sprinkles. Lots of sprinkles. And we will have to shop for full outfits and go crazy with detail, adding our own if necessary. Because I am determined to be amazing this year.

And don't forget we have to see OotP together. Opening night. Preferably in costume. With drawn-on scars. And we can go to Finnigan's and see if they have anything remotely Harry Potter. Because I am determined to be cool and revered and admired during the premiere. We should see it at midnight, if at all possible. You can come over here if you need to and we can see it at midnight and you can crash at our place afterward. This is, after all, a momentous occasion, and we must be prepared for all things cool.

Anyway. I feel like doing my own questions because I am bored and lacking of fun things to do. They're for August, naturally. And I don't feel like bolding anything either.

favourite flower?
He likes a lot. Scent-wise he prefers jasmine or rose, but based on looks, something bold like a gerbera daisy, dahlia, pansy, or poppy.
favourite flavour of gummy?
Lychee.
favourite book?
Something like Harry Potter, probably. With adventure and romance and all that good stuff, but with the added benefit of morals woven into the plot. Or just a good slasher/thriller. Hell. If it's entertaining, he'll read it.
favourite manga?
Something like Bleach. Lots of fighting.
favourite band?
Flogging Molly, Muse, Death Cab for Cutie, U2, The Clash, The Police, stuff like that. Rock/alternative, in general.
favourite metal?
Gold for looks. Iron for purpose.
parchment or paper?
Parchment.
cardboard boxes or plastic bags?
Boxes, of course! Really big ones that you can hide in. And walk around under. Or pretend to be a robot in.
shoes or bare feet?
Bare feet, unless he's walking a long way, walking over something sharp and/or pointy, or planning on dancing and doesn't want his toes stepped on by pointy heels.
big headphones or ear buds?
Headphones, but ear buds once his ears start to hurt. Because big headphones like he wears crush one's ears to the sides of one's head. Which hurts after a while.
flip phone or unflippable phone?
Flip phone, because he's impatient when it comes to answering and would prefer to either flip it open to answer or snap it closed to hang up. But I could also imagine him chatting it up in a red phonebooth, blissfully ignorant of anyone else waiting to use it after him.
favourite scent for a candle?
Something spicy like cinnamon, or vanilla.
wooden chair or cushioned?
He doesn't care. He doesn't sit very long if he sits at all.
black and white or colour photos?
Generally black and white, although colour is nice too.
new york city or paris?
He would adore both. Both have very different cultures and very different perks.
television or computer?
Computer. He doesn't like television very much.
city or country?
City, without a doubt. He would go stir-crazy in the country within about two weeks.
french or german?
He's fluent in both, and likes them both, but it depends on the situation. If he's feeling suave and wants to impress girls (August tends to be a bit of a ladies-man), he uses French. Otherwise, German. He likes how they both sound for different reasons.
lamps or candles?
Candles, although they do tend to burn out and flicker.
favourite style of drawing?
He loves the way Beatrix draws. But he also loves the way Gwen draws. He also likes realism. He also likes the way he draws.
favourite song?
It tends to change. Currently probably Time Is Running Out or Apocalypse Please by Muse.
least favourite food?
He's not a picky eater, but he's never really like pickles. So probably pickles.
least favourite language?
Vietnamese, because it is an ugly language, frankly. Very harsh on the ears and not at all a romance language.
least favourite genre of music?
The kind where people scream instead of sing and play unnecessarily loud guitar and drums. That's not music. That's noise.
favourite vacation location?
Venice. It's so culture-rich and quaint.
favourite fruit?
Watermelon. And apples. And grapes. And oranges. Okay, he pretty much just likes all fruit.
least favourite fruit?
Starfruit is kind of sour, and not in the good way.
favourite vegetable?
Broccoli or snow peas. Or peas in general.
least favourite?
Okra. Yecch.
favourite item of clothing?
His fleur-de-lis boxers. :D
if he could only live one day over and over the rest of his life, what would he do during it?
He'd probably wake up next to Beatrix, they'd fool around for a bit, he'd take a shower (he enjoys showers), he and Bea would hang out with Gwen and Quinn and Gedric and whomever else, and he'd finish it by going drinking with Quinn and Ged in a bar where they were playing live Irish music and playing drinking games.

That would be a nice day.

Oh. And the YouTube. It apparantly won't play more than either ten or twenty if you select the play all feature because it's stupid. After that you need to listen to them individually in the related videos section. It's annoying, I know. I've tried my damnedest to circumvent the problem, but to no avail. And it mocks me.

OKAY I HAVE TO SAY THIS FIRST. At the trip we were all hanging out with this group of four guys that we met, and their names were Dan, Sebastian, Quinn, and Tim. I know. Quinn. It was so funny. (by the way, i totally have dibs for sebastian as a name.) Dan was sweet and kind almost to the point of obscenity, Sebastian was really goofy and funny, Quinn was much like my Quinn if you can imagine it, and Tim. Oh my God. Don't even get me started about Tim. He was really funny, very nice, all that, but UGH. He had the most adorable blonde curls, big green-blue eyes, and he was tall with pale-ish skin. But the most amazing thing about him. HE'S FLUENT IN GERMAN. I kid you not. It blew my mind. I heard him on the phone while we were walking up the path to the beach to do a bonfire (even though we knew very well that bonfires and fireworks of any kind were illegal-- we brought sparklers, too), and at first I kind of wondered for a second why I couldn't understand what he was saying, and then I was just like, "ARE YOU KIDDING." It was amazing. Because you would never guess that Tim was German by looking at him or listening to him talk-- he sounds and looks quite thoroughly American. But LDJFSJDF:LKJSD. German. It seriously made my trip. But this is a funny conversation Dan and Seb had (keep in mind that they're joking the entire time, and we were on the beach walking to Manzanita):

Seb: Hey Dan, what kind of tracks are these?
Dan: What do you think they are, dumbass? (they were very obviously dog tracks)
Seb: I don't know. Bird or something?
Dan: No way, dude. Birds have three toes and webbed feet. This print has four toes and fur marks around the edges. It's obviously a squirrel.

Maybe you had to be there. But it was hysterical. And when we made the bonfire I was the only one who knew how to make a proper bonfire. Aren't I the city girl? I'm supposed to be helpless in the wilderness! Damn boys not knowing how to make a proper fire and making me have to be the man. But it was fun. We got pictures with them so you can see their hotness later. Because they were frackin HOT. I tell you what.

I really love the song Makes Me Wonder by Maroon 5. Adam Levigne, the main singer, is hot. I love the little one-eyebrow-lift thing he does. And he looks damn good in a suit. Which can be said of most men, really, so I don't know why they don't wear them more often.

It's finally going somewhere in S&N. I'm actually really eager to read it. It's so good. But I needed computer time.

Okay. One more beach thing. It wasn't cold at the beach at all. We even SWAM. As in, full submergance (is that a word?), head underwater, arms-and-legs-paddling swimming. It was really cool. We were body surfing. And wave hopping. Except Dan, Manda and I were the only ones brave enough to go in past our waists. We were practically up to our shoulders. Speaking of shoulders, I am deliciously sunburnt. I am red like lobster. Not really. But it is a funny visual.

That sounds good. Yes. Your house for a few days, my house, then Harry Potter. And I really need to do some scoping as to where the best Potter Party in town will be, so we can be there. And also, we need to have extremely excellent costumes. I was asking for Harry Potter stuff for my birthday, but as luck would have it I completely misplaced the list of all the stuff I'd made, and so I didn't have it in time to give to my dad. But I'm going to see if he'll get me some stuff anyway because he hardly got my anything for my birthday. Jerk.

I KNOW ISN'T UKITAKE AWESOME. I sort of love him. He's so cool. He's definatly one of my favourite Bleach characters. I take it you like all of my icons. But I'm going to add more because I can. As soon as I have the will to do so. Which could be a while.

Gosh I'm tired. And I want to read. But at the same time I don't. Because I want to internets. But I don't want to internets. Because I want to read. WHY CAN'T I JUST DO BOTH AT ONCE. Dammit.

okay. so. i go to beach tomorrow. yay. except will be cold. because it is beach. in oregon. oregon beach = cold yes.

the little japanese fragment on my page makes me giggle because i know what it means. i was having fun translating things. and i came up with that by accident. and it made me collapse into a fit of giggles when i saw what the rough english translation was. heehee. because i have a boy's sense of humour i've discovered. but anyway. if you want to know what it means... hehehe. tell me and i will translate.

i also need to dye my hair red again. because it's faded. not all the way, but enough to make me want to do it again. mummy and i will probably dye it tomorrow before my trip. because i love my hair red. it's so loverly. and it's better than whatever my natural hair colour is called.

and also. i put about a trillion new icons on my page because i can. and it took me a long time. because i had to upload them on individually on photobucket and then apply them individually on here. but that is okay.

i might be going to kinokuniya tomorrow. cristian says he'll take me so long as i'm up by ten or something. ha! good luck with that! i've been sleeping till three and he damn well knows it. but i also haven't any money, which makes things difficult, but maybe he's saying he'll get stuff for me. if so, then i guess i'd get up earlier.

but anyway. i left exactly ten comments while you were gone. because i'm crafty.

i'm kind of addicted to the song 'time is running out' by muse. i'm kind of addicted to muse in general. once you get a feel for their genre of music it's so great. but i really love them. and especially this song.

anyway. going to bed now because there is a definite red tinge on the horizon. even though i want to read s&n. but i won't. because i need to get some sleep.

finally mr strange is introduced! good god! it's taken forever! i mean, it's a great book and i heartily enjoy it, but it is going so slowly and blehh. i'm sure that once it gets going it really gets going, though, and so i am not too worried. and i am just trying to get to that point.

the last line made me laugh so hard. and right now iambickilometer and i are co-writing a crack fic where the pairing is tomoyoxwoman!syaoran, because they are our new otp. because yes. it's so obvious.

anyway. just thought i'd share.

and also i spent most of today thinking it was tuesday. mostly because i stayed up until six, woke up at one, ate lunch, took a nap from three til six-thirty, and been up since. i was tired. but until six it was monday, from one to three it was tuesday, and after six-thirty it almost felt like wednesday. except it still felt like tuesday. even though it was still monday.

anyway. i'm really hungry so i'm going to get some food.

okay. so. i am having a really weird back and forth commenting thing with this girl on livejournal. and it's so funny. so far we've discovered that everyone in any of clamp's mangas is secretely female, that clamp is the new age william shakepeare except with less cleavage, and that tomoyo has a secret obsession with syaoran. i've got to let you read the conversation some time. it's too funny. and it's all in capital letters because it's the all-caps community for clamp stuff. and it's all crack 100%. it's too funny. my favourite entries on there to date are as follows:

anyway. so i got a whole ton of markers and even a copic marker case for a late birthday present. and so i've coloured the first page of the omake. and i think i may have to buy new markers halfway through because i swear i'm going to kill them. but it looks cool. the only problem is that there is less of a difference between cool grey #9 and black than i had hoped for. i'm going to have to colour some parts black in either photoshop or paint because i don't want to kill my black yet. because i have to use it for things. but i have more colours to get. and i will take my dad to get them for me since mum spent eighty-five bucks on like sixteen or seventeen markers or something. i can't find my copics from before which is really annoying because i had a good amount and good colours. blehh.

anyway i will stop rambling. i still need to do your birthday picture! ahhhh! -dies-
