I hate to say it, but I have made the inevitable jump over to DeviantART. I will still update here, but quite frankly ... no one on this site cares about art anymore; they just consider it a more private version of myspace, a place to chat with their friends. All the artists I liked have moved on, something that started when the site ceased to be pretty and blue. Quite simply, I feel like the site isn't what it once was. I'll come back when the members of fac start caring more about art and less about their own popularity.

i realised recently why manga is so hard for me to author. i can't ever sketch anything, so when it comes to doing rough draft pages i can't do them at all because even sketches have to be perfect. because i'm alternately extremely lazy and a perfectionist to the extreme. but anyway. so i've been working on my little short omake, which is what i'm calling it since i don't have a better term for it. because it's emo. because yeah. but i'm going to get the pens to colour it tomorrow. i haven't actually drawn a whole lot yet since i used up my drawing quota by fine-tuning the first page and drawing the following twelve little thumbnails. I draw them about the size at marty's, because it forces me not to use detail. even though i do anyway. it's thirteen pages long. i didn't do it like that on purpose, it just happened. i think thirteen is a good number. yes. but reading it, you probably won't know what it's about until the ending pages, and then you'll want to go back and reread it. then it will make more sense. because it probably won't make sense until the end. i already said that. dammit. i'm redundant. i need to go to sleep. but i'm not. because i'm stupid. but we knew this already. i want to draw now. i'm going to try and do one page a day because i can't do any more than that and keep my sanity. i'm going to kill my new markers with this omake, i just know it.
anyway. i am going to try and think of some questions because i have free time and i feel like tiring myself out so that i can wake up in six hours and be tired and then stay out really late playing poker with cristian and his friends while mummy hangs out with her friends.
anyway. questions. dammit i am going to have to press shift.
favourite flower? favourite flavour of gummy? favourite book? favourite manga? favourite band? favourite metal? parchment or paper? cardboard boxes or plastic bags? shoes or bare feet? big headphones or ear buds? flip phone or unflippable phone? favourite scent for a candle? wooden chair or cushioned? black and white or colour photos? new york city or paris? television or computer? city or country? french or german? lamps or candles? favourite style of drawing? favourite song? least favourite food? least favourite language? least favourite genre of music? favourite vacation location? favourite fruit? least favourite fruit? favourite vegetable? least favourite? favourite item of clothing? if he could only live one day over and over the rest of his life, what would he do during it?
that's all i can think of. i have thinker's block. but, like, all the time. as if that's a surprise. why do i say things you already know. i know. it's because i'm dumb.

okay. so. i have all my pictures at my dad's house saved, and since the computer at my mummy's house is extremely slow these days i really don't feel like attempting a download of the file. because a, i'm lazy, and b, it will probably kill all the visual memory on my computer. because ho mai gawd is this computer slow these days. but yeah. i will update when i next am at my dad's house. which i just realised won't be for like two weeks. so um. yeah. because i'm going to the beach with two of my friends and i don't get back until 1 july i think. wow that's a really long time.
i forgot that wednesday was edward cullen's birthday. i feel so lame. usually i don't forget things like that. i don't deserve to be a fan.
okay okay so. i drew the first page of the little thing that i was inspired to do. it's only going to be a couple of pages long. so i can take my time. but i'm going to go to art media and get outlining pens and a whole bunch of greys because i need them. and then i will colour it. i have a really cool colouring scheme in mind. and since i'm evil i will not tell you what it is about. i am going to make you wait and see. it should be very interesting to you, though. it may explain a thing or two. [take that as you will, hurrhurr.]
i am too lazy to press shift. wooooooo. notice i didn't even bother to capitalise the statement about missing edward's birthday. imagine it all in caps, plz. because i was going to press shift, except then i decided, 'no. i'm lazy'. yes.
indeed.
you are gone so looooooong. goddammit. don't go to yellowstone. i've been there. it's boring. well okay, last time i went was like when i was a year old, but i don't remember it at all so it couldn't have been that great. but i guess it hailed golfballs or something while i was there. i wish i remembered that. that would have been cool.
anyway. it's really hot and i'm in my swimsuit to cool down. i really want to take a cold shower. except cold showers at four ay-em are weird to try to explain. but yeah. now i want to draw a picture of august, quinn, bea and gwen at the beach. because i'm lame like that. i have an idea for a short gag-strip in my head that i thought of at dinner. it's funny. because i could see it happening.
tomorrow is the longest day of the year. this is weird. i don't know why. but it is.
that shower is actually sounding kind of good right now because it is really hot in this apartment. imma open some windows because it's hot. and i is needing cross-breeze. because cross-breeze = homg nice.
enough of me being dumb. as if that's a deviation from the norm in any way, shape, or form. ha that totally rhymed.

YOU LEFT IT AT A REALLY ANNOYING PLACE.
I'm in a weird drawing mood now. I haven't been in a real drawing mood in forever. And a short comic thing just popped into my head. YAY INSPIRATION. Whoo. Actually, I can't remember the last time I was in a real mood for drawing. This is weird.
I need to take a shower. But I don't want to wash my hair yet. I straightened it and it's so easy to manage when it's straight. Because it's not everywhere and curly. Obviously. And things don't get stuck in it. Like pocky, for instance.
I still want to finish that Beatrix figurine.
BY THE WAY I SAW THE BODIES EXHIBIT AND IT WAS COOL. They had a set of plasticated intestines. I didn't know that much guts could even fit in one person, and it was only the intestines. It was like whoa. There were so many cool things there. It was awesome. I had so much fun. It was a really cool anatomy lesson. And with some of the bodies you can get, like, millimetres away and they don't care. They only care if you touch. No touchy. But it's so cool. We saw the accompanying IMAX movie too. It was great.

I'M GOING TO POST MY ART NOW. I was planning on doing DA first, but it's on read-only right now so poo. But I'll update here I guess. Yeah.
I've got a themesong for August, I think. It's "Into the Ocean" by Blue October. I will give you a SPECIAL PRIZE if you can answer correctly what it's about.
I am going to draw for a bit. And maybe if I'm still not tired I will read Strange & Norrell. Because I need to finish it. By the time you're back from Yellowtone.

It's teme... But I think you have to add an extra 'e' at the end, in the little sub-sound thing. Maybe. I don't know. Probably not. @_@;
I'm drawing an obscenely cute picture of Beatrix and August. I love them. They're so cute. It's based kind of off a picture I saw that I idioticly forgot to save-- it inspired August's pose. Then for Beatrix, I referenced from something that mum said while we watch James Bond for like the millionth time about a little gesture that one of the characters does. Yeah. August is only in his boxers because a) he prefers not to wear clothing if he can help it, and b) I want to draw his muscles. I'm killing myself with this picture kind of because I'm doing odd perspectives, complicated poses, and HANDS. GOD I HATE DRAWING HANDS. Dx Blehhhhhh. I can never get them to look right. But yeah. I like how it looks so far.
My knee is making an extremely worrying noise. Whenever I bend it and unbend it it sounds like cartilage crunching. Oh god what have I done to it. This is potentially bad. OH IT'S A SCARY NOISE.

Oh yay these will take forever. C:
Favourite Potter book?
Probably the second. Best visually, in his opinion, and the creepiest. He likes creepy.
Computer or Typewriter?
Computer for its functionatily, typewriter for the feel and the noise.
Portable or desk-top (they make portable typewriters)?
Portable.
What kind of car?
[This should be fairly obvious.] The Vanquish, of course. Or something like a Mercedes or a Jaguar-- muscle cars are fun. But as long as the car goes fast he'll probably like it.
Favourite form of public transportation?
Double-decker busses. Old-time trolleys.
What element?
Air. Second, fire.
Blinds or curtains?
Curtains! Blinds are useless.
Futon or box spring or foam?
He's good with anything, really. He'd probably prefer something bouncier, though, since he still jumps on his bed from time to time.
Does he like bubble baths?
Not really. They're more of a waste of time.
Favourite tea?
Earl grey, chai, chamomile, or peppermint.
Bath or shower?
Shower. Baths take too long.
What does his shampoo smell like?
He switches-- either sharp and citruisy, or something soft and subtle, like vanilla.
Wide rule, college rule, or narrow rule?
College rule. He doesn't write largely, but he doesn't write excessively small either.
Of every one he knows, is there anyone he thinks is too comical?
Not really. The person he knows most likely to make a joke out of everything is himself.
Too serious?
He often tells Quinn to lighten up, but again, more jokingly than seriously.
Who would he most like to meet who is alive?
Probably a famous painter or artist, since August is rather lacking in the area of drawing ability. He greatly respects someone who can draw well.
Dead?
Oscar Wilde, because August loves his wit.
Favourite flavour of lip balm?
Grapefruit. Or cinnamon.
Favourite juice?
Orange or pinapple.
Pencil or ink?
Ink.
Light or Dark?
Light.
Sky or Earth?
Sky.
Blue or Grey?
Blue.
Green or brown?
Green.
Shiny or functional?
Probably shiny.
What is most important: beauty, knowledge, strength, or instinct?
Knowledge, although they're all important to a certain degree.
What's the grossest thing to step in that he can think of?
Poop. Yuck. Bodily fluids in general.
Which song/piece of music can he best identify with?
He can relate to many different pieces of music. It depends what mood he's in.
Does he need time alone to retain his sanity?
Yes. He loves to be around people, but he also values his solitude.
Salt or pepper?
Salt, although he's really not partial to either.
Which would he prefer to live in, a tree house or a hobbit-hole ('cept tall enough to stand in)?
Hobbit-hole. It would be darker in his room so he could sleep all day and not worry about the sun waking him up.
City or country?
City.
By the ocean or inland?
He wouldn't care. The ocean is very nice, but he doesn't care if he's inland.
Mountains?
Nice too look at, but he would not want to live on one.
What sort of plant life would his ideal environment have?
Lots of leafy trees, and flowers. Lots of grass. Fewer pine trees and ferns and such things, and fewer tropical plants.
Animals?
Birds are nice. And rabbits.
Climate?
Warm, but dry-ish, and windy.
Glue or tape?
Glue for most things. Tape because it's fun.
Book or movie?
Book... Movies are kind of boring.
Which sense does he think is most useful? (sight, smell, hearing ... you know the deal)
Probably hearing, because if someone is trying to sneak up behind you, it's important to be able to hear them.
If he had to give up a sense, what would it be?
Probably taste. He really enjoys food, but it's the least important in terms of survival.
Brown or white rice?
White. It's stickier.
Would he rather be an actor or part of the stage crew?
Actor, of course.
Musical or regular play?
Regular play, probably, although he does like musicals.
What instrument would he most like to learn how to play, that he doesn't already play?
The accordian. They're just so cool.
Favourite dance, if any?
Something that requires a lot of movement. Waltzes and foxtrots are nice and everything, but he really likes to get physical with the person he's dancing with.
Which 'star wars' movie would he like best, were he to know what star wars is, and watch all of them?
Probably the second.
Biggest social gaffe?
Probably when he was training some new recruits-- twelve-year-olds, mind you-- and he was sparring one-on-one with one of them, and another one snuck up behind him, whacked the backs of his knees, and he fell over. Quite embarassing for someone as high up in the ranks as himself.
Stupidest moment?
See above.
If he could chuse who was to kill him, who and why?
A worthy opponent on the battlefield, who outsmarted him fair and square.
What would he think of Teacup?
He'd think that she was kind of annoying in that she's very aloof about everything and doesn't take any responsibility for her actions.
Of the Phantom?
He'd probably find him very confusing. All the pseudonyms would confuse him.
If he had wings, what would they look like?
They'd probably look something like Shruikan's.
Favourite bird?
Crow, lark, or dove.
Does he like muffins?
Who doesn't? Poppyseed are his favourite.
What is his favourite bakery item (be as specific as possible)?
Probably a nice, fatty pastry covered in icing.
If he were gay, what type of guy would he like, both appearence and personality-wise?
He would like dark hair. Okay, think Quinn and you've got it. Someone with a very dominant personality.
Does he like tofu?
Yes, but he likes meat better.
Chocolate milk or regular?
CHOCOLATE.
How would he like his coffee?
Black. Or with cream. No sugar.
Tea?
Oddly enough, he likes his tea to be sweet. With cream.
What non-chocolate flavour goes best with chocolate?
Peppermint, or orange.
Favourite non-alchohol carbonated beverage?
He'd probably like brown soda. Like Coke, or Dr Pepper.
Favourite alchoholic beverage?
Straight vodka.
Favourite junk food?
Chocolate.
What does he think of the interpretation that dark and evil are the same (the dark lord, Voldemort ...)?
He doesn't believe they're the same. One can be dark and not be truly evil, and one can be a very sweet and light and be completely evil. They often walk hand-in-hand, but not always.
What in an author's writing style can he flat out not stand?
He hasn't come across a writing style that really just put him off. However, if there was an author that couldn't describe things in creative, varying terms and used the same adjectives for everything, it would drive him nuts.
What can he not stand in the story?
He doesn't like characters that are completely perfect, who don't have any flaws whatsoever. He also doesn't like characters that are underdeveloped.
Would he be a leader or a follower, or neither?
He's a leader, though subtley. He doesn't lead by telling people to follow him; rather, he leads by following.
HAVE FUN READING. ;D

Yeah I KNOW he's in his twenties. xDD Which is why I thought it was funny because he does look young. But I was saying that in THIS he looks his real age.
Today it was funny because I only went to first and second period. My friend Roman convinced me to skip third period and hang out with him, and since third was study hall I did. We hung out on the front lawn with a group of other people. Roman and this other guy had their guitars and were playing around with them (Roman can play surprisingly well), and my friend Jordan and I were making clover chains (since it's something every girl knows how to do, apparantly) and making Roman, Donny, Jeff and Jeryth wear them. It was fun. Then Mrs Myner, the principle, drives up in her car and we're like, "Oh frack. We're screwed." Since we were all skipping third period. But she just gets out of her car, looks at us, laughs, and says, "Wow, you guys remind me of a college campus! That's great!" and we laugh because she's not making us go to class or something dumb like that. No one goes to their classes on the last day of school. Then fourth period Donny, Jordan, Annie and I walked down to Starbucks and got lattes. Because as I said, no one goes to class the last day. It was fun. I'd do it again but today was the last day. Which kind of is awesome.
