I hate to say it, but I have made the inevitable jump over to DeviantART. I will still update here, but quite frankly ... no one on this site cares about art anymore; they just consider it a more private version of myspace, a place to chat with their friends. All the artists I liked have moved on, something that started when the site ceased to be pretty and blue. Quite simply, I feel like the site isn't what it once was. I'll come back when the members of fac start caring more about art and less about their own popularity.

silverfoxNehehehe... I meant to comment sooner, like last night-ish, but I had Comedy Cafe to go to and then a dance afterward which went to eleven PM. So yeah... Then after the dance I went to mummy's house, and got there around midnight (since my friends and I were having far too much fun leaving kiss marks in lip gloss on the mirror in the boy's bathroom so I didn't leave the school until about 11.30) and pretty much zonked. So yeah.

Oh my God. About half and hour ago or so this really loud, really obnoxious, really high-pitched sound went off. It was the fire alarm, and it didn't stop going off for, like, five to ten minutes. It was dreadful. I think my ears are bleeding. Seriously, I don't think I've heard anything that awful. I could probably sue for hearing loss! Considering I had perfect hearing beforehand and now my ears are ringing and pained, I would most likely win.

Cristian names his videogame characters after my mum which makes me laugh very hard. "What should we get you, Shari? Would you like a cowl? Let's get you a cowl!"

And we're going to Borders now so I have to go in a couple minutes. Because we're taking the computer with us. Because turns out we can do that.

But yeah, that... Sort of looks like how I imagined his writing. In my story he and Gwen and Fay have very neat, very elegant handwriting, because all their magic is written and they can't really afford to make mistakes in writing. So they're taught penmanship from an early age. But in your story it would be nice for him to have that writing since it's cute. Except, August doesn't dot his i's. Nor does Gwen. Because dotting i's is overrated. ;DD

Yes, from a distance August could pass as Gedric, and visa versa. They have similar hair and a similar facial structure, but there are differences. Like, August's eyes are more blue, but Gedric's are pure green. No other colours in it. August has somewhat stronger features-- stronger jawline (but narrow chin), stronger cheekbones, et cetera. But his face doesn't look hard. Gedric has a somewhat pointier face; like, more streamlined features. I don't know, I can see their differences in my head, but it's hard to explain them. And Gedric has slightly darker hair. Then again, August's hair is pretty light and golden. Because it is. So yeah. Gedric, while still blonde, has darker blonde hair. It's like a warm, goldeny-amberish-brownish. I don't know. I'll colour it for you later.

YAY I'M IN SOMETHING WITH KITSUNE AND PSYN AND SHUIKAN AND ASTAREAL AND WHATNOT THAT IS SO AWESOME.

I really want to write my story... Both of my stories... I have a lot of little short plotlines I need to write. Most are little one-shots that don't have any point other than to amuse without a commitment. That doesn't really make sense but whatever. Anyway. So yeah. I'm going to end up writing extra chapters into my story after it's finished, mostly for background and little background plots that I want to write. Like when August first met Gwen. And how their parents met, or something. Because I was going a little crazy with the whole background info. Anyway. I'm writing the stuff out longhand also, although I'll most likely end up transferring it onto the computer pretty soon, because although I love writing stuff out, it isn't very practical for sharing with people. Ah well.

So yeah, going to Borders now...

silverfoxOh, and. YES I went to school today.

And I'm pretty sure it's written with hiragana ha, since the Japanese do that. Probably just to annoy everyone. But it sounds like it would be ha instead of wa, to me.

I go a book from Mugglenet last night! It's a bunch of theories as to what they think will be in book 7, and they bring up a lot of good points. A lot. You can read it after I'm done, which I probably will be tonight. It's really good. Like, apparantly Jo said that Dumbles is 'definitely dead', but they point out how he could actually be alive-- and if it weren't straight from Jo's mouth that he's dead, I would believe otherwise. Seriously. They make a really good point. Lots of good points. The biggest, I think, is how Snape actually kills Dumbledore... If you reread that section, there's something weird in the description of the spell's effect. Like, it's described differently from how it normally is... Which makes it weird. Plus they also make some pretty good possible motives. They do believe that he's really dead, because obviously Emerson trusts Jo, but yeah. They make good arguments regardless.

And also the way they describe Draco is very accurate. I really love Draco. He's just so emo. He's a little jerk and deliciously big-headed, but he's so lovable.

silverfoxBIRTHDAYS. Urrghh. I always forget. I'll comment tonight and my comment will include the days in it.

So with 'Ask Gedric' on my hand now, I'm waiting for someone to ask me what it means, and I'll be all, "I don't know, ask August." Then, of course, I shall laugh myself silly.

Yes. August is also a very heart-on-his-sleeve character, and while Gwen is also that way to a certain point, she's a little more subdued than him. But August really only has three emotions. Happy (which he is most of the time), mad/angry (which he isn't very often), and sad (which is quite rare indeed). Well, four I guess, if 'fighting' is an emotion. It should be, with him, because he tends to be a completely different person when he's in battle. Like, he's a very innocent, almost childish in his happiness kind of person usually, but then if someone tried to hurt him or someone close to him he doesn't hesitate to maim or kill them. Because yeah, August kills people. He doesn't take pleasure in it, but he won't hesitate to kill you should you threaten him. C: So yeah, in that respect he can be sort of scary. He doesn't really get angry. Not truly angry, anyway. He might get annoyed or irritated, but he's only been truly angry once in his life. In my story (although I haven't written this part yet) August actually yells at Gwen because she's being stupid and thick-headed. Because she does that sometimes. Basically, she insists that she's going to do something, and while she believes it's what has to be done, August is trying to tell her otherwise. Probably the worst thing in their relationship is that they're both prideful people and don't like to admit they're wrong. Usually they can get over that fact to make things work, since that's what they've had to do since they were pretty young in order to keep any sense of a family, but when they're both upset then they actually can get on each other's nerves, especially when they both seem to believe that they're doing what's best for the other person.

I wrote enirely too much right there.

But yeah. I tend to ramble. But you knew that, so that shouldn't be any sort of surprise.

At my school we kind of laugh at the kids who play Dungeons and Dragons. o.o; Then again, I'm friends with a lot of them. o.o;;

OH MY GOD. My mother just left the best comment ever on my Myspace. It's not a comment so much; rather, she left a single sentence and an icon. It's the best thing ever, and so I have to share it.

Quoth mother:
"Though you might enjoy this..."

If that doesn't animate itself I'm going to be mad. Because oh my snap, it's hysterically funny. I replied:

"That made my fracking day. I laughed so hard I think I had an aneurism."

I'm so damn eloquent.

Anyway. I shall post the August pictures this weekend... I don't feel like it right now. xDD;

There's more I was going to say... Oh! Right. In my Tsubasa story that takes place in an alternate universe of Tsubasa, I got a really good scene for Kurogane. Like, about his curse. And it came with a little closure for why he does something. Fine, I will just tell you what he does. Basically some guy who is in the army of Seresu's enemy nation, which is called Sirian, which attacked, unprovoked, and so Seresu has to kick their @$$ (hence the battle scene I love so much!), and uh... Basically Fay and Gwen do this spell that sends an intense sound blast, and uh, the Seresan army knew what was going on and so they covered their ears, but the Sirians didn't, and so most of them are incapacitated because their eardrums have been blown out. But a few of the biggest and toughest (and cleverest, if they figured out to cover their ears) stay with it. Since the Seresans hadn't really expected that, it kind of catches Gwen unawares when one of them tries to kill her, blah blah blah... Stuff happens... While she probably could have kicked his @$$, he's at least twice her size and she's tired from casting the spell and from already having fought a bunch of people. So yeah. And Fay's out of it too so he can't help, and since Kurogane didn't know what the spell was August kind of self-sacrifices and claps his hands over Kuro's ears, and srunches up his shoulders to try and block the sound. And while he avoids the worst of it, he's also struck deaf for a little while while his eardrums kind of fix themselves again, and so August can't hear Gwen's cries for help. But the big Sirian guy basically holds her off the ground by the throat and is like, "I GUNNA KILL J00 NOW LULZ" and she's like, "shoot." So then more stuff happens (I don't want to spoil the suspense) and basically Kurogane saves her. C: Yay! But only by killing the guy, and since Tomoyo forbade him from killing, he's all thinking he's going to be weak now. So he's kind of sulking, but at the very least glad that Gwen didn't lose her life at the same time, because she was pretty darn close to doing so. You obviously know I wouldn't kill off my main protagonist, so I think it's pretty safe to assume that I can tell you Gwen obviously does not die. Because it came pretty close. Anyway. So yeah, then Tomoyo basically contacts him through his dream (because she can actually do that, according to volume 12) and tells him that the curse was to prevent 'unnecessary' death. So yeah. Then stuff happens again. I haven't actually written that part either, but.. It'll happen. I wrote kind of a summary and a few quick sentences to remind myself of the finer points in the document... Hehehe. I actually do that a lot. I write down reminders and sentences so that I can switch between stories easier. I had to try and decide which to put on temporary hiatus: Tsubasa or Bella and Gedric. Which still needs a title. So... I sort of chose B+G, since I have a lot of stuff to write in that story, obviously, but I want to finish Tsubasa a lot. Which will be weird when I finish it, since I've been working on it since I was like, 13. Which is a strange concept, but explains why I hate the first three or four chapters. They just suck, in my opinion, and no matter how I try and revise them it just doesn't work. I would rewrite them, but I don't feel like it; and plus, it's not just the writing style so much as the entire framework of those chapters. So yeah. Urgh. But oh well. It's almost thirty thousand words long, have I told you that?..

Good God. This is one of the longest comments I've ever left.

silverfoxI'm writing short biographies, mental assessments, and physical descriptions for some of my characters. So far I've only done part of August's, but then again, I started late last night and I was sick. Still sort of am. Speaking of sick, my ear just popped painfully again. That hurts quite badly, actually. But I thankfully only hurled once, although I felt nauseous for a while aftwerwards. I think that in the past three days combined, I've maybe eaten... 2000 calories. Maybe. Probably less. Yesterday I'd say I was lucky if I ate 300. I did not eat much yesterday. Obviously. Mostly just because I didn't feel like I could keep anything down. But yeah, I got a cough and now my throat is all sore. Maybe you did get me sick... Oh well, you got me a 6-day weekend, so I won't hold it against you. ;D

Check that list of things I like again. >3

I was thinking of themesongs for my characters and I decided that they can't really have just one. I mean, most of my characters borderline either bipolar or schozophrenic in the way of personality, because while they generally act a certain way, they have a lot of... Let's make this easier and use an example. Gwen, let's say. Now, she has a certain personality in general, but it changes a bit depending on if she's mad, sad, happy, et cetera. So I have to sort of find songs for each mood. However, there is one song I'm pretty firm about, and that's August's song to Gwen, because he would have one, being the type of brother he is. So yeah, his song would be Goodnight My Angel because the more I hear it the more it sounds like him. So yeah. I've been listening to KT Tunstall's CD because it turns out my mummy already had it, which isn't really surprising, but yeah. The songs Under the Weather and Lost in the Dark (I think?) could sort of describe some of Gwen's moods in my story. She angsts a lot in the middle, because I've discovered that I write a lot of angst. I don't even mean to! It just writes itself! D: Oh well. But yeah, That' partially why I made August, because August just makes everything happy again. Until he starts to angst at this one part, but whatever.

Anyway.

I forget what else I was going to say, other than there are two rules one should always remember.
1) Even if someone is holding your whole family hostage and they tell you that they will do bad things if you call the police, you always call the police.
2) If you see someone's future, and it's bad, don't try to prevent it, because by preventing it you are probably making it happen.

Two basic rules for everything. ALWAYS call the cops, and NEVER try to intervene in someone's future.

silverfoxHmm. Themesongs. Mine would probably be Sojourn from the Norm by Natasha Beddingfield. It's a pretty cool song. I was thinking about it in the shower, because I really needed one. Last night I had fun hairspraying my hair to make it stay in this really weird style, it was fun. Then I slept in it because I didn't have time for a shower last night, and when I woke up most of the fun had disappeared, unfortunately.

I'm going to go make more tea. I practically hacked up a lung earlier so right now my throat kind of hurts. But hehehe, I got my dad sick too. >:D

Anyway.

So, uh. I'm sick today with a rhinovirus (rhinocerous-virus, lulz) and so while usually I would be going to school today, I threw up pretty spectacularly in the middle of the wee hours of the morning. So yeah. Then I stumbled back to my room and passed out on my bed. My dad doesn't know yet, though, so I have to call him at work to tell him so that the school doesn't call him and be all "HOMG KELSEY NOT AT SCHOL 2DAY!!!1". Snitches. -_-;

I made August cry in my story... It's actually kind of cute, in a sort of depressing way. It's right after the big battle scene, but I won't tell you why he does, because you can read it for yourself. I pretty much killed myself writing a TON of stuff-- at least two pages, possibly more-- on a scene that would take... Ten or twenty seconds in real time. Well, the bulk of it takes place in about a five-second timeframe. It's so long because it replays those couple seconds from everyone's point of view (that is to say, August's, Gwen's, Kuro's, and Fay's) and so it has Gwen first, shows what she sees, then skips to Kurogane and what he sees, then his reaction, goes to August and his reaction, and then Fay's and whatnot. Except a little more jumbled than that. But yeah, I'll have it for you to read soon, and you can tell me if it makes sense. xD;;

I popped my eardrum. It hurt really bad. Not as in popped it open, which I've done, but more like when you go over a hill or up in a plane and you yawn to equalise the pressure in your head. Like that. Except due to my cold my ears are both way totally messed up, and I can't hear myself talking very clearly or very loudly, and so when I yawned a little bit ago there was this oud, painful POP, like stepping on bubblewrap, and I was like OWOWOowoOWoOWOWWoowowoowowo.

It hurts to pop your eardrums.

Pookie is playing in a box because she's adorable.

So uh. I forget what else I was going to say, even though I had more than this typed on the original comment that my computer deleted.

OHRIGHT.

You've saved me lots of tedious work by make that for me, let me tell you. It will be my background on my mummy's computer, though, since I really like my background here. Because it's Fay. Fay = delish. Even though in the manga I just want to slap him right now. But yeah. ;D

I went by MLC yesterday because I wanted to see the building with tombstone-shaped windows. I saw it and wanted to take pictures but it was too dark. ;3;

I will try and find 141, hold on... I think it came out. Let me check. ... I just found something delicious. This can be our new website maybe hopefully! I don't know, I haven't checked it out yet. But apparantly up to 143 is out, and no one told us. D< Poop. But yeah, it's there. C:

SO LET'S GO READING NOW~~
