I could, but it would kind of defeat my original purpose. I wanted to show Naruto's team and what happened to them, while showing my OC learning and doing his own thing, before meshing the two stories together during the period they skipped before Shippuuden began.

Maybe I'll just revive one of my older stories, or something. Maybe I'll email Shohen Jump and ask permission to. Hey, maybe it's worth a shot. Maybe I'll get a free t-shirt or something -_-

Afraid so. I just got out of my college english class, and plaguerism would still be the word, even if I changed the words around. Basically, I'd have to put quotes around every borrowed sentence, then credit the author, and include the page/volume number. It would be something like this:

"I call this one the sexy jutsu!" (Kishimoto vol 1, pg 17)

It would take forever to find all the references, especially since I'd have to go through the actual Shohen Jump releases -_-'

It really does suck.

I might not, I'll let you know. See, it comes to close to 'plaguerism', since (even though I'm crediting) I'm using actual lines from the manga. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but in retrospect, I don't want any legal issues -_-'
