Yeah, you're right, I have been. Bleach, Shakugan no Shana, XXXHolic, Ai Love You, Happy Seven, Togari, and so on. I guess it's a new obession for me. It mixes well with my other obession (martial arts). That, and all those worlds just seem so fun, you know?

I just got into the manga, it's really good! Kind of an action/romance thing. Basically, it's about this girl warrior who hunts down these evil things that eat souls. One boy has his soul eaten, but his body is still alive. Anyway, she's hilarious! SHe beats up some teacher, treats the kid like dirt, but then does something incredibly nice.

lol same story with me and references. and Root beer is ok. Not my fave though.

lol yeah I am going to TRY to find the time to do stuff for my contests but that'll be it for QUITE a while, unfortunately. I expect to be posting art within this month and then not again until december, I think...IT MAKES ME SUPER SAD!!!! TT_TT and I couldn't fit art classes in my schedule this year.

Yeah I am a reference person, but most artists are. Even for my "free hand", I usually use some type of reference. I try not to copy anything directly.

The fact that you took the time to do anything means alot ^^ And I agree, MS Paint can be difficult.

lol, yeah, I do :) Palms...i've got pain from my forearm to my palms. That's from studying for my black belt test, and then this rush at work where I was typing 20 emails a night.

It's good to have a variety, but I think it's best when you can draw what you like. (Or, in my case, draw at all! lol)

Have you ever heard of the manga version of 'Shakugan no Shana?', by any chance?

Thank you ^^ and yeah death note characters are simply difficult -____-" and it isn't just L's hair, in my opinion. Hair in general is a bit difficult...for me anyways...with out a reference.
