yeah, no, you'd have to use an IV calculator. That Riolu's stats looked pretty promising until i leveled it up. It's defense IV was 7. 7. out of 31!!!!!!!! D8

nature tends to be random, as well as the IVs, unless they're holding specific items. did you actually put their stats into an IV calculator? sorry if i sound a bit RAWR, i'm just a bit confused o.o as far as i know, IVs are TOTALLY random. i know i bred an IV-trained lucario for a riolu and its IVs were completely horrendous. D:

it actuallu doesn't work that way at all. the IVs are COMPLETELY randomized, for ALL pokemon except event pokemon, who normally only have set IVs around 20-something. out of 31.

Let's just say i tried it once, failed miserably. XD
