Naruto: The Story Retold Updated!

It might be better if we talked 'story' after I lay my OC's cards on the table.

You've got Ekyt pegged in that he's not a natural talent, and that he doesn't quite fit in. He's very rooted to the leaf because of his friendship with Sakura, and the Third Hokage. Genjutsu interrogation is his career (a nonfactor here). He possess a unique chakra that his emotions form. It causes him a lot of pain, but he can't get rid of them. The chakra isn't horribly powerful, but it has it's uses, such as breaking forbidden jutsu and genjutsu (for example, Orochimaru's attempt to take or Ekyt's body, or Itachi's Tsukuyomi). In combat, he'll generally react to what's going on, and forge a plan while he works. The one trait that really sets him apart (and makes him, at times, difficult to work with) is that he won't kill anyone. And he doesn't seem to care about his own life all that much. For example, following the storyline you suggested, I think I know how he'd react.

Ekyt is a genin with the skills of a jonin, held back because he doesn't havea team, and he constantly fights with Tsunade over her abrasive policies. That, and he and Ebisu have a long-running feud, stemming back nearly four years, lol. He keeps to himself, training with Rock Lee in taijutsu, with Ibikki Morino in genjutsu, and various senseis for ninjutsu.

The hitch is, I don't think either of us want to see our OC's get defeated cleanly. I can work with that, actually. BUt, knowing more about Ekyt, I want to make sure that you think the story will still work out

I don't foresee this working out. I'll give it a try, but your char is an 'ultimate' something. It won't be much of a fight, keeping things realistic. That, and Ekyt's nature would be to let Sakura do whatever made her happy, until it hurt the Leaf. But I can give this a shot, let me know what you think.

one more thing I must be going now. My computer is low on battery power. And I'm going to get something to eat. I haven't eaten anything at all today. ^^'

LOL Not really just staying put. My family is too big to go anywhere. We did that a few summers ago when we had a few more kids in the house. Although there are 4 in the house right now we had 8 kids in all. ^^' But most moved out. My older sis had a kid and my oldest bro got married. One of my sisters are in the army and my other bro is moved out waiting for the right person. And as far as vacation goes... I think we'll be staying here. ^^' But I wish I could go somewhere.

Yup. I asked a place called Cha Cha. They're a phone texting co. and they've answered l lots of questions for me. I got an answer for a place to publish books.

I'm going to finish my story this summer and try and get it published. I"m also going to be working on my comic book. But I might need to fix it. Some people said they were confused on the first page. -____-' I'll also be riding my bike and hanging with my friends and family. :)
