It's okay, you can stop trying so hard, because trying is what is making you feel so much pain. It doesn't matter how much you try to put him out of your head, think it over, wor through it in your head and wonder what went wrong, because it will still take the same amount of time for you to heal.

You trying to stay connected with him is only reopening the wound. You need to accept that the person you thought you were with is not the same person you're seeing now, and there is nothing you can do about that--no matter how much you and I both wish you could make this work, it is out of your hands, and judging from what I'm hearing that is for the best.

No, he doesn't care about you. I don't think he ever really did, if he can move on THAT quickly. But it isn't the end of the world. You don't have to stress about it. And don't say you'll put up a wall so you'll never be hurt again. Getting hurt is how you'll learn, and just remember that every wound will heal, given enough time and tended to properly.
Those lessons are worth it in the end--when you find that guy who won't hurt you, who somehow is different from all the rest and all the more special because of it. You can't let anyone else, if even that person (who I know you'll find, because you deserve him) have this kind of control over you, and I can tell he has power over you because you're crying over him. He doesn't deserve your tears, and he's not the one for you.

It's a little sad. I got asked out twice this year, but I didn't like the first that way and the second was just UGH. It's my own fault. I'm so eccentric I only attract other eccentric people. And usually not in the good way TT~TT
