Everyone, it is my turn to take leave of Fanart Central.
College has become too hectic now that I am entering my senior year. I am also in the premedical track, so the tasks will only build up! Do you know how long I have been on FAC? 6 years. That makes me all the more reluctant to go, but I must go. I am not cutting ties; I am letting them fall, and if any of you guys find me again someway somehow, I will surely pick them up again. However, for now, let me get adjusted to simply concentrating on my own life as a regular artist and student.
It was fantastic getting to know all of you. I faved, commented, complimented, critiqued, argued, and laughed with too many of you to count. I started as a total noob and finished as a site helper. I did what I could in my time here - it was tedious, but I was proud of it. Do not ever ever stop drawing, guys! You know what you guys have, every single one of you, is special. Never let it go.

Hey Lucky, I think you've noticed it, but I think that Fanart is slowely dying. Isn't it smart to get another Mod so he/she can help to get this site up and running again?
I remember the first time I came here. It was crowded and when you had posted something there would be a lot of views and nice comments. Now there are only a few active members commenting and I noticed that even I start visiting this site less.
Please, find a new active Mod to help save FaC.

I have actually sent a site helper request for a certain user, but I am awaiting the webmaster's reply. Yes, I agree that we need another site helper.
The new age is peace, contests, and unbearably gradual improvement, so put your guns and swords down. I think DA is actually a super cool place. They can learn much from us, and we can learn much from them (as long as the programmers and site helpers here can keep up). We can only get better!
I say we start joining or making new contests on our own, whether it be FAC-sponsored or not. -Maybe have cash/picture/t-shirt of whatever prize. Tumblr does it all the time. As long as you trust some people, you can make many things happen!

Sorry for stalking, but I couldn't help but take notice of this issue! o -o I remember years ago I'd joined FaC, it used to be so much more active, I'm surprised how quiet it is now! I ended up turning to dA instead. I came back because I missed FaC X-D If you like I could set up a journal on dA inviting some more members? =3 I can help to convert them! =U .. Or would I get in trouble for that D-:?
