Leia; So...you're emperor of the galaxy?

Sidious: Well, I was, until I was thrown down a shaft leading directly to the main reactor of the second death star.

Leia; Well, if you're alive, then why aren't you still emperor?

Sidious: The stupid imperial constitution says that if the emperor is thrown down a 200 mile shaft by his apprentice into the power generator of a space station with enough firepower to destroy an entire planet, he shall be removed from office.

Leia: Okay...that...that sounds a little weird.

Sidious; I know! I just signed the dumb paper thinking "Alright! I mean, what the hell are the odds of THAT happening?"
