Welcome.

Name's Megan. And, I must confess...I am a writeaholic.

*gasp*

Well...let me rephrase that: I USED to be. Now I rarely get around to writing anything that, more than anything else, I am a workaholic. Surprisingly, that's not a large difference between the two.

So, here's the deal, gallery lookers: I love that people read my work, and love when they appreciate it. That being said, if you don't appreciate it, tell me why. Critiques are good and (like pain), if it doesn't kill me it will make me stronger. So go on. Check out the work. Click here and there in boredom. And if you find something that needs to be fixed, go on and send me a comment--or a bucketful if it is bad. I'll try my best (when I have the time) to fix it.

Well, I started to take the story I was typing out and writing, and am now transfiguring it into a Manga story which I am drawing out. Story's different, and to be truthful, this story is the original.

Zandrian Hearts was something I wanted to try...but I didn't like how it was turning out.

So I'm going to stick with my original story and draw it out as manga.

But I've hit 3507 words, and I just started yesterday, so I think it'll be okay.

I'm just writing a completely random story. The main character is the Ferret Princess, and she has to either marry somebody or conquer other kingdoms to get new land because the Ferret Kingdom is being encroached upon by orangutans, and she meets a narcoleptic badger named Alejandro Isidro who rides around on a moon and a Vietnamese cat with a very strong accent and a psychotic duck named Columbo who tries to kill people with a carrot. And that's just the beginning.

I'm enjoying it greatly ^.^

OrelinI just run for my High School team. I'm about 4th/5th for the team. We run 2 1/2 a meet, and it's not that bad. I like it too. That last so many meters is always fun.

My style of writing has changed a little bit since then and I didn't really go over the grammatical errors like I did with my other stories..it was just there to see what people thought of my writing and I guess they thought well of it..meh..

JessieEnduroI agree. The publishing is a long laborous process...or so I've heard. My godmother personally knows a publisher, and I have all you people to help me edit my work. ^_^ Thanks.

And I took your advice for extending my sentences. You're right. The writing has become longer, but ten times better and in depth. I love how it's become longer in length. It makes the pages fuller. And as for the detail, I'm looking in dictionarys, thesauruses, anything I can find to define certain words and phrases. Thank you so much! I couldn't see what was wrong with my story, I sensed something but I couldn't discover it. You totally pointed it out! Extend your detail and sentences! Put in every drop of describence.

Anyhoo, thank you for the point out, and for being there to check on me. ^_^

cartoon_carazaygurlHeh thx so much for commenting on my pic. Yeah i orginally had the corpse bride with no eye and my mom said i should add it so ppl could make out what it is. And the only style i could think of when it comes to eyes was anime so she's more af an anime corpse bride o.O yeah i thought it didn't really come out as i wanted it to be, and i was experimenting with my tablet so i did the hair in front of the body and it happened to turn out wounderful...coloring wise...artistic wise its just plain lazy and stupid. So without the hair maybe ppl could tell but i don't know. I intentionally wanted more of a sillouette style, but i had to change it when my mom asked me "What is it? A dragon?" T.T So i guess you're right, i don't know but thanks for the kind comment anyway... *gives you a ton of cookies and walks away*

And the comment on my "eye", the realistic one: yes, those anime ones do take up half the face and are quite bug-eyed, but i have to admit, I do have a picture of a giant bug-eyed anime eye! XD There's just easy to draw when you don't want detail. But I do LOVE realism. I'm usually just too lazy or can't find a decent picture to draw.

In regards to Hinc Illae Lacrimae: Yeah, he did bring it upon himself in a moment of insanity. I was very particular with my pronouns in that story--you'll notice that, when he's more sane, I actually use his name. It's a tough choice. I think I'd go crazy again if I was him.
