Dusk: My pleasure. *he sits down and waits for her*

Sarah: *finishes drying herself off, and pulls her shirt and sweatpants on* Ready. ^^

Dusk: Let's go, then. :) *he walks out with Sarah to their apartment, when --*

Mugger: *is a hunter* HEY! *pulls them both into an ally then shoves them against a wall* Money. NOW.

Sarah: !!! *reflexively covers her stomach with her arms* W-We don't have any! D8>

Mugger: Bullshoot. You just came form the pool. You've got some fracking money -- you just SPENT some! D8<

Dusk: Leave us alone. Just back off and everything'll be fine. D:<

Mugger: Is that a THREAT? ARE YOU THREATENING ME, dog? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT KINDA SITUATION YOU'RE IN?? DON'T YOU GET IT?? DDD8<

Dusk: I'm serious. I'm gonna count to three, alright? You've got 'till three to back off. One.

Mugger: *pulls out a knife* D8<

Dusk: Two.

Mugger: *puts it to Dusk's throat*

Sarah: *stands there, frozen, terrified* D8>

Dusk: Three. *suddenly slams his arm against the mugger's wrist, knocking the knife out of his hand, then kicks him back in the gut*

Mugger: !!?? *he's stunned by the sudden attack*

Sarah: !! *takes advantage of the distraction and backs out of the alleyway, away from harm* D8!!

Dusk: *he jumps on the hunter before he can get up, takes his head, and slams it against the pavement hard enough to make the X-WD black out*

Mugger: *indeed blacks out, becoming motionless on the ground*

Dusk: *to Sarah* Let's get out of here. D:

Sarah: *nods, and turns to head back home without hesitation, quickly leaving the area with Dusk*

*when they reach the apartment*

Dusk: *he crawls over to the couch, lying down on it with a heavy sigh*

Sarah: *sits down next to him* Jeez... that was more excitement than I needed...

Dusk: *leans his head on Sarah's shoulder* Besides the mugger, I had a good time...

Sarah: *puts an arm around his shoulders, and rests her head against his* Me too...

Dusk: *he smiles at this, feeling warm again*

Sarah: *kisses the top of his head, rubbing his shoulder with her thumb*

Dusk: *he hugs Sarah when she surfaces, smiling happily*

Sarah: *hugs him back, resting her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes*

Dusk: *he holds her there and slowly sways from side to side in the pool*

Sarah: *sways with him, feeling relaxed, comfortable* ...

Dusk: *he leans over and kisses her*

Sarah: *kisses him back, hugging him a bit more tightly*

Dusk: *he breaks the kiss and brushes some wet hair out of Sarah's face* I'm gonna go dry myself off...

Sarah: Okay. I'll be there in a minute...

Dusk: Okay. :) *he gets out of the pool and dries himself off with a towel*

Sarah: *watches him for a moment, then goes back under once more*

Dusk: *still drying himself off, he looks over at where Sarah was* ?

Sarah: *comes back up after a few moments, shaking her head to get her hair out of her face. She looks over at Dusk and smiles, giving him a little wave*

Dusk: *he waves back, smiling as well*

Sarah: *runs a hand through her hair, then goes to climb out of the pool, easily getting out on her own, and joining Dusk* Hullo. ^^

Dusk: Hey. ^^ *he hands her her towel*

Sarah: Thaaank you. ^^ *takes it, and proceeds to dry herself off*

Dusk: Well, I was just wondering... in case... okay... *he ducks into the water*

Sarah: Heheh... *sticks her hand under the water and waves at him*

Dusk: *he waves back, smiling a bit*

Sarah: *smiles back, and joins him underwater* ^^

Dusk: *he pats her on the shoulder underwater* ^^

Sarah: *grins, and pokes his nose* :P

Dusk: *stands back up to get some air, gasping* DX

Sarah: ! *also surfaces* Sorry. D:

Dusk: I just ran out of air. S'not your fault. ^^;

Sarah: ^^; *goes back under, allowing herself to sink to the bottom, relaxing a bit*

Dusk: *watches her sink, feeling comfortable and relaxed, himself*

Sarah: *decides to stay down there for a little while*

Dusk: *he watches her, not minding the odd stares he gets all around*

Sarah: *comes back up after a few more moments, taking a deep breath once she reaches the surface. She smiles at Dusk, feeling rather calm* :)

Dusk: *he squint a bit at the kid, trying to remember, why does he seem familiar? Right! This same exact pool* U-uh... hey. D:

Teen: ... I thought you were dead. We ALL thought you were dead. D:

Sarah: *stays quiet. she'll pitch in if she needs to* ...

Dusk: ... Don't, uh... don't tell anyone? D;

Teen: Hey, what's wrong? D:

Dusk: Nothing's wrong. D:

Sarah: Excuse me, do you mind? I don't think the Lieutenant appreciates all the questions. <:/

Teen: ... Oh. Okay... then. D:>

Dusk: *rubs his neck, feeling somewhat awkward*

Sarah: *sighs. maybe this hadn't been such a good idea after all?*

Dusk: ... *he puts a hand on Sarah's shoulder and kisses her cheek, silently telling her that it's fine*

Teen: <:/

Sarah: *nods quietly* <:/

Teen: ... I guess I'll leave you alone... bye, Lieutenant. <:/ *he leaves*

Dusk: *he sighs, somewhat saddened by this*

Sarah: *lightly touches his arm, speaking quietly* Maybe next time...

Dusk: ... Maybe, yeah... *he gives her a one-armed hug*

Sarah: *hugs him with both arms, and sighs* We;re almost there, you know... almost done.

Dusk: What else needs to be done?

Sarah: Well, one more visit to Dr. Ferman, so you can finish remembering everything...

Dusk: ... But... I've already remembered everything. What else is there to DO? D:>

Sarah: I don't know... but I guess we're not done until he says we're done. We'll go again next week and ask him about it. <:(

Dusk: ... Okay. <:/ You wanna... head back?

Sarah: Only if you want to, we barely just got here. <:P

Dusk: Hah, sorta, yeah. XD; *he moves his fingers through the water*

Sarah: *slowly moves in a bit further, going a bit deeper* X)

Dusk: *splashes at Sarah a little* X3

Sarah: *yelps at the sudden cold--she splashes him back* >:P

Dusk: *splashes Sarah a little more* >:D

Sarah: *splashes him with both hands* >:9

Dusk: Aw. How am I supposed to compete with that? D:

Sarah: You aren't. :3

Dusk: *pouts* Awww! D:>

Sarah: *snickers* You're silly. :P

Dusk: Well, last time I checked, you liked silly. XP

Sarah: Did I ever say silly was a bad thing? \:P

Dusk: Well nnnooo... XD;

Sarah: *splashes him again* Exactly. :P

Dusk: *rubs his arm awkwardly* XD;

A Teen From Before: ... Is that you, Lieutenant Gatzsky?

Dusk: !

Sarah: ! *quietly* Do you remember him? From last time?

Dusk: *as soon as he's in the apartment, he looks around for the swimming trunks he remembered having*

Sraha: *goes and digs up her swimsuit (the only one that'll fit now, anyway) and goes into the bathroom to change*

Dusk: Will you be comfortable in public? Like, being pregnant and all?

Sarah: *from inside the bathroom* Of course I'll be fine! I'm just a lady with a big belly is all~ If anyone minds, well, that's their problem.

Dusk: I don't see why anyone would have a problem with a pregnant woman. <:P *he gets into his trunks rather quickly*

Sarah: Then why are you asking? *comes out of the bathroom, a t-shirt and sweatpants over her swimsuit* Ready yet? :P

Dusk: Hang on - *he puts on a t-shirt* Now I am. :)

Sarah: Yay. ^^ Out we go again~ :P *heads out with him*

Dusk: XP *heads out with Sarah and walks over to the indoor pool. They enter the building, pay for admission, then find a place to put their stuff*

Sarah: *sets a towel down on a chair, and takes off her shirt and pants, ignoring the few glances thrown in Dusk's direction*

Dusk: *takes his shirt off, ignoring the stares he got*

Sarah: *smiles at him, then goes and carefully steps into the pool*

Dusk: *he helps her, taking her arm to do so, just in case she suddenly got dizzy or tripped. He smiles*

Sarah: *her smile widens* thank you.

Dusk: Sure. ^^ *they walk into the pool together. Dusk shivers at the sudden icy cold hugging his legs*

Sarah: *also shivers* Brr... feels nice. X)

Dusk: *he gets dressed in the bathroom, shaves, then comes back out* You want me to pour you a bowl of cereal?

Sarah: *is almost done changing* Oh, thank would be nice, thank you. :)

Dusk: *he smiles at her, then goes to pour them both some cereal. He comes back and hands the bowl to Sarah* Here. :)

Sarah: *was about to walk out the door* Oh! Thank you. ^^ *takes the bowl*

Dusk: *he sits down and eats the cereal*

Sarah: *joins him, eating quietly*

Dusk: ... Would you like to go out today? Do you feel up for it?

Sarah: Yeah, I think I'd be up for it. :) Where would you like to go?

Dusk: I dunno... Around? I like around. <:P

Sarah: Around works. X)

Dusk: It'll be fun. :) *goes to get his coat*

Sarah: Yep. aimless wandering's always a lovely thing~ *quickly finishes her cereal before getting up to do the same*

*they walk out and about*

Dusk: *he holds Sarah's hand in his, happy* ^^

Sarah: *does the same, not a care in the world. everything was almost the way it should be* ^^

Dusk: ... You know... we could have gone to the pool over there, but we don't have our bathing suits.

Sarah: Oh! Do you wan to go back and get them? :o

Dusk: We could do that. :D

Sarah: Yay. Back we go~ *turns them around, and heads back to the apartment with Dusk*

Dusk: Do you WANT me to talk about it? <:/

Sarah: Well, if it was THAT bad, then... yes. D:>

Dusk: ... W-well, Blood Puppet was here, in this room, and... and he told me to kill you. A-and I had no control over myself, I... I got a knife and I just... *he shivers*

Sarah: D:> ...I see... Well, it was just a dream. <:/

Dusk: ... Thank god for THAT... *he hugs Sarah*

Sarah: *hugs him back, tightly* ...

Dusk: I'd never stab you, Sarah. I'd never even think of killing you.

Sarah: I know you wouldn't...

Dusk: I-I... I'm your HUSBAND... and husbands... aren't supposed to kill wives... especially not pregnant wives...

Sarah: No one's supposed to kill ANYONE...

Dusk: R-right, right, you're right, n-no, p-people shouldn't k-kill other people -- AT ALL! At all... D8>

Sarah: *combs a hand through his hair* That's right, Dusk.. now, shhhh... no need to be so agitated. D:>

Dusk: S-sorry... i-it was s-such a r-realistic dream...

Sarah: It's okay, I understand... <:(

Dusk: ... I love you, Sarah... D:>

Sarah: I love you too... <:(

Dusk: *he kisses her then gets up to get dressed*

Sarah: *rests for a moment, before sighing and getting up to get ready as well*

Dusk: ... So... do you know how far along you are? Uh... in your pregnancy? Isn't it three-and-a-half months?

Sarah: *nods* That sounds about right... *moves a hand to her swelling stomach* half a year to go...

Dusk: ... It's exciting... I-I'm EXCITED... and there's TWO of them...

Sarah: *grins* I KNOW... I can't wait... X3

Dusk: ... You wanna, uh... you wanna just go to bed now?

Sarah: Sure, why not? It's been a bit of a long day for all of us.

Dusk: Alright. :) *he gets up and heads into the bedroom, crawling into the bed, under the covers*

Sarah: *follows him in, joining him in bed. she snuggles close to him* :)

Dusk: *he snuggles back, happier than he was earlier that day*

Sarah: *nuzzles into his neck, also feeling quite relieved. they were almost there. almost there...*

Dusk: *puts an arm over Sarah and soon falls asleep, a smile on his face*

Sarah: *quickly follows, relaxed and comfortable. this was going to be a good week*

*the next day*

Dusk: *wakes up from a nightmare in a cold sweat, shivering* !! ...

Sarah: *is woken up by this* ...? Dusk, what's wrong...? D;>

Dusk: *he looks around, nervous* ... Nothing. Nothing. Just... a nightmare.

Sarah: ...Do you want to talk about it..? <:/

Dusk: *his jaw drops, and he stares at Sarah without realizing he's staring* Y-y-you WHAT? D8 *he could never imagine Sarah every doing things like THAT, what she just SAID she did. It seemed... almost out-of-character for her. VERY out-of-character*

Sarah: Yeah, yeah, I know, it's terrible. I kind of noticed that after my grades fell down the toilet first year of college. I was just kind of... it was like I was cursed to never have a long term relationship, and it really bothered me... I guess you could say I was a bit desperate. <:/

Dusk: D:> ... Did your parents ever find out?

Sarah: Don't they always? I think my grades spoke loudly enough, anyway... and they wanted to know WHY, and well... let's just say, they weren't very happy about it. The whole "we're not paying for you to go party and be generally stupid and crazy" spiel...

Dusk: ... Did they... SPECIFICALLY find out about all the sex? <:/

Sarah: Eventually... I got called out for THAT too... It wasn't really a fun conversation...

Dusk: ... Oh... I never thought you'd... ever be like that. In your life.

Sarah: I think practically all my friends were more shocked when I STOPPED... Though I guess they were more "party buddies" than friends... S'what you get when you get stuck with the wrong kind of roommate. I was just thinking, you know, it's college, maybe people'll be more mature here than in highschool and not CARE about who my dad was, and lo-and-behold, they didn't. Unfortunately, they were probably the worst influences I could've had. I was just sick of all the insults and name calling than when I found people who didn't care about it, I was too scared to leave from fear that they'd be the only ones...

Dusk: <:( ... Well... I don't care about who your dad was. I still love you all the same, Sarah.

Sarah: *smiles, grateful* Thanks... I just wish others had felt the same back then... maybe I wouldn't have gotten myself into so much trouble...

Dusk: But you still grew up into a very good person. <:)

Sarah: *smiles a bit wider, laughing a bit* Well, you know what they say... you learn from your mistakes. And I made plenty.

Dusk: *he hugs her* Oh, stop. What matters is the present. The "now".

Sarah: *rolls her eyes and sighs, but smiles, leaning against him* If you say so.

Dusk: *he smiles at her* I do say so. *he kisses her cheek*

Sarah: *smiles* I believe you, then. *kisses him back*
