Sam: I'm gonna go now. I'll be seeing you tomorrow, right?

Sarah: Yup! I'll let you know if I'll be getting home before you do. <:P

Sam: Thank you. <:P *he kisses her one more time, then leaves*

Sarah: *lays her head back down, and closes her eyes, already wanting it to be the next day*

*The next day*

Sam: *works, signing filing papers, writing reports like he used to*

*his phone rings again--it's Sarah*

Sam: *answers the phone* H'lo?

Sarah: Hey, Sam! Just letting you know I'm back home already. X)

Sam: Oh - OH! I'll quickly finish up what I'm doing, then!

Sarah: No need to rush!

Sam: But Sarrraahhh I wanna seee yoouuu... :C

Sarah: *laughs* I'm not going anywhere...

Sam: Well alright, I'll work then come home later. <:P

Sarah: Please do. I'll see you later~

Sam: Alright! ^^ *he hangs up and continues to work*

*later*

Sarah: *gets into bed, as it was getting a bit late and Sam wasn't home yet. She's glad to be back in her own home again*

Sam: *comes home, locking the door behind him and slipping into the bedroom* Hey... :)

Sarah: Oh! *sits up* Hey. :)

Sam: Oh my god, I SNORE and you never told me...! XD;

Sarah: It didn't bother me, I didn't really feel the need to! XD; Besides. It's adorable. <3

Sam: Adorable...?? XD;;;

Sarah: Yes. :3

Sam: How can snoring be adorable? XDDD;;;

Sarah: Because it sounds like purring! Like a CAT! It's CUTE!

Sam: ... I-I'm not cute. I'm the Lieutenant of the military. I'm not supposed to be cute. XDDD;;;

Sarah: You're only a badass in public, dearest. What nobody knows is that you're a big ol' teddy bear underneath. <:P

Sam: *he laughs at this* Okay. Fine, I'm a teddy bear. XP

Sarah: *grins, satisfied by his admission* X3

Sam: At least I can make you feel fuzzy and warm. X3

Sarah: Oh, yay. Fuzzy and warm sounds lovely right now. <3

Sam: Am I allowed to get in there with you? XD

Sarah: Unfortunately, no, I don't think so. XD;; You visiting is enough, though. <:P

Sam: Aw. XP *hugs her as best as he can*

Sarah: *laughs a bit as she hugs him back* Don't worry, we can be warm and fuzzy when I come home.

Sam: I'll be looking forward to it. X3

Sarah: *kisses his cheek before letting him go* <3

Sam: A long way, sure, but we'll have to do it eventually. XD *he looks over at a wall before looking back at Sarah* ... Our moms are both very excited, you know. <:P

Sarah: Heheh, I'm not surprised. We kind of kept them waiting. <:P

Sam: Heh, yeah. XP They'll need to babysit the kids anyway when we're out at work.

Sarah: I really don't think they'll mind. XD

Sam: Agreed. XP This is exciting. I'm excited. *He kisses her cheek*

Sarah: *kisses him back* You and me both. <:P

Sam: *he nuzzles her* I just want to stay here with you all night... Heh.

Sarah: *nuzzles back* I'll be home soon, don't worry... Heck, I might leave tonight...

Sam: Well I don't want you leaving before you feel like you're ready. <:/

Sarah: Sam, I feel great. <:P

Sam: Alright, but... Just in case you get woozy or something... <:P

Sarah: As long as I don't go back to work anytime soon, I should be fine. <:P

Sam: Okay, okay... Sorry. I kinda... Worry. A lot.

Sarah: That's okay. You're allowed to. <:P

Sam: Haha, okay... XD; Y'know, I felt lonely without you there last night.

Sarah: Same here... It was too quiet, you know?

Sam: ... Do I snore or something? XD

Claire: *lets go of Sam* Oh, I don't doubt that. X)

Key: You two just need to rein in your adventurous streak. ;P

Claire: *raises an eyebrow* Well, alright. I need to get going too.

Key: Mhmmm. :P In any case, Expect us to drop by when the kids come home. ;P

Sam: Will do. OH! We're gonna be moving soon, so, uh... We'll give you guys the address when that happens. D:

Key: Oh, right, I had forgotten all about that--Thank you.

Claire: *nods* In any case, we've all got things to do. We'll see you later. <:P

Sam: Alright. <:) *he then leaves, the day's events having worn him out*

*the next day*

Sarah: *is being checked up on by a few nurses*

Sam: *knocks on the door before entering* Heyyy... Did I come at a bad time?

Nurse: No, come right in. ^^

Nurses: *are finishing up*

Sarah: Hey, Sam. :)

Sam: Hey Sarah. :) How was last night? Did you sleep okay?

Sarah: I was out like a light. Felt like minutes. <:P I'm feeling good now, though. :)

Sam: Well that's good. How long did the doctor say until you three could go home? <:P

Sarah: Well, I can probably come home today, but the kids need to stay at least a few more days. You know, to make sure they're okay.

Sam: I understand. It's... Oh god, this is amazing... We're a FAMILY... We're PARENTS...

Sarah: *grins* I KNOW...! It just gets better and better. X)

Sam: Until we have to pay for their college education, haha. ;D

Sarah: Pfft. We've got a looong way to go until we get there. XD

Sam: *with a grin* ... I can't wait either.

Sarah: *looks up at him* I love you...

Sam: *he kisses her again* I love you too...

Sarah: *kisses him back* Thank you for not giving up on me. <:)

Sam: ... Sarah... I could never give up on you.

Sarah: *kisses him again* Thank you all the same.

Sam: Well... thank YOU for giving me a chance. <:)

Sarah: I don't regret it. <:)

Sam: I'm glad to hear that... X3 Now go to sleep.

Sarah: Okay. X3 *lays back down, and closes her eyes*

Sam: *runs his fingers through her hair* ...

Sarah: *leans her head into his hand, sighing contentedly*

Sam: *he continues this motion and looks over at his and Sarah's two children. His smile grows again*

Sarah: *the monotonous movement helps her fall asleep quickly--she drifts off with a smile on her face*

Sam: *he gives Sarah one last warm smile before thanking the two nurses and leaving quietly*

Key and Claire: *are waiting right outside, both quite excited* !!

Key: So, how were they??

Sam: They're a boy and a girl... They're all very healthy and... and everything is PERFECT...! X3

Key: :D!

Claire: *has to contain an excited squeal--she hugs him tightly* I'm proud of you, Sam...! You'll be a great father. <:)

Nurse: *carefully hands the baby over to Sam*

Sarah: C:

Sam: *he holds the baby, not having felt this happy since his wedding with Sarah* <8D

Sarah: *is just as happy, though too exhausted to express it as well. she looks down at the baby boy in her arms, and sighs contentedly* ...Sam... We're parents...

Sam: I-I know...! I can't... I can't remember having a happier moment than this. Can you?

Sarah: *shakes her head, giving him a warm smile* I honestly can't. <:)

Sam: *he laughs in his happiness and looks over at the baby in his arms - Emma*

Sarah: *laughs a bit* We made some gorgeous kids...

Sam: Damn straight we did... Not that I'm surprised. After all, they have a gorgeous mother. <:)

Sarah: And a handsome father. <:)

Sam: *He laughs a little again, his face turning red from the compliment*

Sarah: Hey, it's true. <:P *looks down at her son--Lance--and smiles*

Sam: ... I'll stay here for a bit, then let you all rest... I think you really need it after all you went through. <:P

Sarah: A nap sounds nice right about now, actually... heh...

Sam: *he hands his daughter back to the nurse and walks over to hold Sarah's hand* <:)

Another nurse: *takes Lance*

Sarah: *lightly squeezes his hand, giving him a tired smile*

Sam: *quietly to Sarah* You just rest, alright? Just rest...

Sarah: Mhmm... *closes her eyes* Can't wait until we all just go home...

Sam: No... nice to see you two, though. <:)

Key: It's been a little while, hasn't it? ^^

Claire: It has... heh. Are you doing okay, Sam?

Sam: I'm nervous, just very nervous... I hate not being able to see what's going on in there...

Key: It happens. Safety and such, I guess. <:/

Claire: In any case, I think she's going to be just fine. She never had any previous complications, did she?

Sam: ... Not that I know of. Oh god -- I-I'm hours away from being a father...!

Key: *grins* Don't forget about us proud grandparents, no? We've been waiting for YEARS!

Claire: X)

Sam: *he grins widely at Key, feeling a sudden rush of intense happiness*

Claire: It'll be worth the wait, trust me. :)

Key: *nods in agreement*

Sam: I don't doubt you. X3

*a few hours of short conversations and general excitement later*

A Nurse: *opens the door, and looks over at Sam with a big smile on her face* Wanna meet your kids?

Key and Claire: :D!!

Sam: *leaps up in a great wave of excitement* IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION? 8D

Nurse: Get in here, then. <:P *retreats into the room*

Key and Claire: *looks at each other excitedly, and shoo Sam towards the room*

Sam: *follows the nurse into the room, shaking with excitement*

Sarah: *sits on the bed, one of the twins in her arms. she gives Sam an exhausted smile* Hey...

Another Nurse: *has the other baby*

Sam: *he can't stop grinning* Hey...! Hey, hey just... Look at this... Oh my god, I-I can't... I can't believe it's finally happened... *he bends down and kisses Sarah on the cheek, then nuzzles her* They're both wonderful and - and HEALTHY looking and... oh my god... <:D

Sarah: *nuzzles him back* I can't believe it either... And I just sat here for HOURS trying to get them out! X);; A boy and a girl. Lance and Emma, right?

Sam: *he contains a squeal of excitement* Y-Yes! <8D

Sarah: *can't help but grin at his excitement* I guess it's decided, then. :D

Nurse: *to Sam* Would you like to hold your daughter, Lieutenant?

Blood Puppet: *he unstraps her and hugs the body tightly, not caring that her blood stains his clothes. He cries into her shoulder*

Celine: *is dead*

meanwhile

Annabelle: *is deeply unsettled by the sudden silence, more so than when the halls echoed with screaming--because she knew what happened. she knew what had been done. she sobs loudly, mourning the loss of her mother, and of her best friend. it was only her and her father now--and the thought of it genuinely frightened her*

Blood Puppet: *As a keepsake, he cuts off her head and puts it with the others. Then he disposes of the body*

Annabelle: *never leaves that room, curled into a sad, sobbing little ball*

Blood Puppet: *he does the same himself, curling up in the dentist chair and sobbing*

Six months later

*At the hospital. They had been waiting patiently for months, but the time had finally come--the couple rushed off to the hospital as soon as they could, and there they were, waiting for their children*

Sam: *he doesn't like that he's been sent to the waiting room, pacing the area with a nervousness that he is sure his father once felt*

*an hour passes without any news. Sam's phone goes off--a call from Claire*

Sam: !!? *this startles him and he nearly drops his phone trying to take it out* H-Hello?

Claire: Sam? Oh good--Key and I are on our way, we didn't miss anything, did we?

Sam: No, no -- She's still in labor, I think. I'm in the waiting room.

Claire: Oh--Oh, alright, we'll be there in a little bit, okay?

Sam: Alright. It'll be nice to have some company here. <:P

Claire: *laughs* Oh, I bet! See you in a few! *hangs up*

Sam: *he puts his phone back in his pocket, sits, and waits, tapping his toe against the floor rapidly, still very nervous. So much can go wrong...*

*after a little while, Key and Claire finally arrive, and sit near him*

Claire: Nothing yet, hm? <:/

Blood Puppet: Celine, snap out of that trance of yours. Annabelle... please leave this room.

Celine: --!! *as soon as she realizes where she is, she begins to scream, fighting against the restraints*

Annabelle: D8>!!? *quickly scampers out of the room, but she doesn't go far--she waits right outside the door*

Blood Puppet: *he puts a hand on her jaw to hold her head still, to look into her eyes with his masked ones* Were you going to go to the police?? The Lieutenant?? You think THEY can help you??

Celine: A-Anywhere but here!! You're INSANE!! D8>

Annabelle: *listens in* D8 ...

Blood Puppet: ... Celine... I don't want to kill you... But you're leaving me with no choice...

Celine: *screams at him* LET ME GO!!

Annabelle: *covers her ears, trying to block out her mother's screams*

Blood Puppet: I-I'm afraid I can't do that, Celine... It... hurts me t-to have to do this... *he gets his katana ready*

Celine: *screams and fights* NO!! PLEASE, NO, LET ME GO!

Annabelle: *tries her hardest to block out the sound, but no, no, she can hear EVERYTHING*

Blood Puppet: *he sighs, then slashes at Celine with his katana*

Celine: *cries out in pain, screaming, pleading with him to stop*

Annabelle: *runs, farther into the building, but she can still hear Celine screaming*

Blood Puppet: *he can't strike at her again, and with a shudder he cries into his hand*

Celine: *is still fighting the restraints, begging to be let go*

meanwhile

Annabelle: *can't avoid hearing the screaming, no matter where she goes*

Blood Puppet: *through his tears he screams at her* SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!! THIS COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH EASIER IF YOU'D ACTUALLY LOVED ME!! BUT NO!! WE HAD TO RESORT TO THIS!! THIS DIFFICULT, HORRIBLE MURDER!!

Celine: *screams back* THEN FINISH IT! JUST DON'T MAKE ME STAY HERE ANY LONGER!!

meanwhile

Annabelle: *curls up into a ball in the farthest room she can find, and cries*

Blood Puppet: ... W-well I just want you t-to know... I love you. Even if you don't feel the same.

Celine: *stops struggling, and just stares at him, her gaze PLEADING--she just wanted out, no matter what it took*

Blood Puppet: *he lets out another sob, then stabs Celine in the heart with his katana*

Celine: !!? *is shocked for a moment, but her expression turns into something like relief before fading completely--she was dead*

Blood Puppet: Dusk has been brainwashed by the evil men looking for us. He's trying to hunt us down now, just like them.

Annabelle: C-Can we fix him...?

Celine: *she can't stay--no, no, not here, not with him, not after what he did. not after what he did to her, how he hurt her, how he used and humiliated her and called it love--it was all insane, insane!!*

Blood Puppet: ... No. We cannot. Our only choice is to kill him before he kills us.

Annabelle: *is incredibly disappointed* ...oh...

Celine: *needs to leave, needs to get out RIGHT NOW--* I CAN'T STAY HERE! *quickly becomes hysterical, standing up, desperately looking for a way, ANY way out*

Blood Puppet: ... Celine. What are you talking about? :/

Celine: *suddenly seems self-conscious, trying to cover herself with her arms, her voice getting louder and more panicked as she continues* I-I can't--I CAN'T!! NOT AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO US, NOT AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ME, WHAT YOU MADE ME DO--I CAN'T STAY HERE!! D8>

Annabelle: *watches her mother break down in fear* M-Mom...? D8>

Blood Puppet: *he turns to face Celine* ... Don't... Don't do anything rash...

Annabelle: *looks back and forth between both her parents, scared, not quite understanding what's happening* D8> ...

Celine: *glances at the front door, entire body trembling with anticipation--then she suddenly bolts, making a mad dash for the exit*

Blood Puppet: *He's so caught off guard by this that he fumbles with his commands* CH -- D -- C-CRYSTAL TOWER!

Celine: *stumbles and is forced to stop, her legs growing weak from the unexpected rush of pleasure. she forces her words out* n-no, stop...! please, let me go....!! i d-don't want to...!

Annabelle: D8> ...

Blood Puppet: S-Stone pillar... Celine, come back over here.

Celine: *still trembling, tears in her eyes, she manages to stand up and shuffle back over to Blood Puppet*

Annabelle: D8>....

Blood Puppet: Annabelle. You need to get off that chair, dear.

Annabelle: *slowly clambers off the chair* W-What's going on...? D8>

Celine: *quivers where she stands*

Blood Puppet: ... Something horrible. Celine, get in the chair.

Celine: *hesitantly gets in the chair*

Annabelle: *watches* D8> ...

Blood Puppet: *straps Celine down* ... It's better if you didn't watch, dear... *he gets his katana, the blade looking ever-so-sinister*

Celine: *her eyes widen in fear, and her breathing quickens--even under Blood Puppet's influence, her terror still leaked through*

Annabelle: *quickly connects the dots* D8> !!?? Dad, d-don't...!!
