Sam: *still asleep, he was hugging Sarah*

Sam: Well okay then - we can visit Mr. Huntings, Sarah - he saved us and all, so... it would be a good thing to spend time with him. :)

Sarah: SAM, WE NEED TO RUN!! *picks him up, and with slight difficulty, sprints back down the hallway, AWAY from the Smoker, fueled only be adrenaline, and fear. (it HAD to come out when no one was around, RIGHT??!!)*

Sam: *runs with her, but due to his age, he is much slower, and is painfully pulled along* D8>

Smoker: *runs after them, chasing them, before shooting its tongues at them both*

Sam: *tangled again* SARAH!! DDDD8>

Sarah: !!! *refuses to let go of him, holding him tightly and planting her feet, pulling him against the Smoker* I-I WON'T LET GO OF YOU, OKAY?? D8> JUST-- *pulls him back and away from the infected, trying to snap its tongue again*

Sam: D8> !!??

Smoker: *wraps its third tongue around Sarah's throat*

Sam: DDD8> !!!!

Sarah: !!? *keeping one arm firmly around Sam, she grabs at the tongue around her throat, frantically trying to free herself as it cuts off her air supply* !!!!!!!!!

Smoker: *suddenly lets out a gasping noise as claws ripped into him from behind, protruding out of its front. Its tongues loosen and fall off Sarah and Sam*

Sam: !!??

Todd: *takes his claws out and pushes the Smoker down* ...

Smoker: *dead*

Sarah: *doesn't let go of Sam, still in shock* D8 ...

Todd: ... Are you guys okay?

Sam: *nods* W-we are now. D8

Sarah: *stares at her father, nodding in response* ...how did you get out here...?

Todd: I convinced the doctor to let me out after I heard all the screaming.

Sam: Y-you have good hearing...

Sarah: *nods, accepting his answer. she still wasn't very happy with him* ...w-what are we going to do with it? the smoker.

Todd: *picks the body up and flings it over his shoulder* Hide it.

Sam: H-Hide the body? D8

Todd: Yup.

Sarah: ...W-We could put it with the other one... that Hunter...

Todd: ... Good idea. *walks over to that room*

Sam: ! *walks with him, scared of getting separated from the X-WD*

Sarah: *stays close to them, keeping a hand on Sam's shoulder, refusing to be separated from him--whether she thought this was for his sake or she was still in shock, she wasn't sure*

Todd: *finds the room and throws the Smoker in* There.

Sam: Uh... Mr. Huntings... did you take your -

Todd: Yup.

Sarah: ... *to Sam* do you wanna, um... grab another game while we're here?

Sam: *quietly* ... sure... *quickly takes the Uno deck that was there*

Todd: ... let's get out of here. *leaves, tugging Sam along*

Sarah: *shuts the door behind them, hoping no one would go in there. At all* ...so, dad... do you have to go back, or...?

Todd: Yes I do. Why, Sarah?

Sarah: *quietly* ...just wondering...

Smoker: *shoots one of its tongues at Sam, which wraps around the small boy's body almost entirely, crushing him, and drags him near itself*

Sarah: *screams in terror and nearly flees--but she refuses to leave Sam. She grabs the tongue and desperately pulls at it, trying to rip it off (Mom told her the tongues ripped out, she prayed to god these guys' did too...!!)*

Claire: *wakes up. finding the other two were asleep, she stays in bed to avoid waking them. she contemplates waking Harry by tickling him, but decides not to take the risk, choosing instead to snuggle against him and nuzzle his cheek*

Harry: *waking up, though gets only half-awake, and has not yet regained his ability to think coherently* Mmm... *he snuggles back against Claire*

Sam: *still asleep*

Claire: *continues to nuzzle him affectionately, she whispers* morning...

Harry: *he closes his eyes again, becoming lost in a second, lighter sleep, exhausted from the day before* mm... morning...

Sam: *waking up. He yawns*

Claire: *hears him* good morning, Sam...

Harry: *fully fallen asleep again*

Claire: Mhmm... he's tired from yesterday. Which is understandable.

Sam: But doesn't he have to get ready to cure people? D:

Harry: *sleeping*

Claire: Yeah... I was going to give him a few minutes, but when you put it that way. :/ *nudges Harry* Come on, Harry. We've gotta go.

Claire: *joins in, tickling Harry* Noooope! X3

Harry: *laughing as Sam had, unable to even crawl away from them*

Sam: *laughs with his father as he tickles him with his mother*

Claire: *laughs along with them* I did NOT know you were ticklish, Harry. :3

Harry: AHAHAHAHAAHAHA JUST A LITTLE GEH-HAHAHAHA!!

Sam: "just a little", huh? XD *stops tickling him*

Claire: Heheh... *stops tickling him, and leans in to kiss his cheek* I'll have to remember that. :P

Harry: You better not, like, tickle me in my sleep. >__>

Sam: Mom's not THAT mean, Dad! XD

Claire: Really, Harry. You don't give me enough credit. :P

Harry: I'm not allowed to be paranoid?? DB

Sam: ... have you EVER been tickled before? D:/

Harry: ... uh... no one had reason to, before.

Claire: Well, don't worry. I won't go TOO crazy with it. :P

Harry: *walks with the others to Key's room and knocks on the door*

Sam: Oh - that must be your mom.

Sarah: Oh yes it must. *gets up from the bed, poking Sam in the stomach again as she walks past him towards the door, and opening it* Oh! Hi, everyone. o___o Is um... everything okay?

Key: *nods, still wearing that sad smile*

Sam: Mom? Dad? D:

Harry: Hey Sam, come on out. Time to head back to our room.

Sam: D:/ *gets off the bed and runs to his mother and father*

Sarah: See you later, Sam! :)

Key: *comes into the room, and turns to Harry and Claire* Thank you for your help.. <:)

Sam: Bye, Sarah! :)

Harry: Hey, no problem Key. He's our friend, y'know. We gotta watch out for him.

Key: Of course... :) See you tomorrow. *closes the door*

Sarah: ... was that about dad?

Key: *nods* He's... doing a lot better. :)

Sarah: ..hrmph.

Harry: *takes Sam by the hand and pulls him out* Come on, small child. We need to hang out with you like good parents, then go to bed.

Claire: :P *walks with Harry and Sam over to their room*

Sarah: *snorts, and changes into her sleeping clothes, getting into bed*

Key: *does the same* ...You know he said all those things because he thought he was protecting us. We were still the first thing on his mind, Sarah...

Harry: So... what shall we do tonight, Sam?
