Todd: *He's suddenly very serious, looking right into her eyes* ... Don't joke about that.

Key: I'm not! Your voices ask you to hurt people, right? She did the same to me.

Todd: That's different, though... THAT'S some evil supernatural FORCE messing with you... Whenever I did something... That was all ME... It was MY fault...

Key: Considering where we are, I wouldn't be surprised if something else was involved, but... either way, I think we can help you. <:(

Todd: ... Okay Key... *He hugs her a little tighter now*

Key: *tightens her hold on him a bit as well* ...We can stay out here for a bit, if you don't want to go back yet.

Todd: *As he walks off in his fury, he's bombarded with THINGS talking in his head, and he holds his chest in pain, as it was not yet fully healed* Fffgh...

Todd: *he turns to look at her, trying to mask his fear with a look of rage. His shining blue eyes look almost wild - feral - against the setting sun, but, while his brows are furrowed, his eyes give away his pain* ... I don't want to hurt you again, alright? D:< *He keeps clutching his healing wound and lets out a sharp hiss when something snaps back into place in his body*

Key: *isn't afraid of him--she could tell he was hurting* That doesn't mean you have to LEAVE... at least stop and rest first... D:>

Todd: *His face tightens in pain, and he is soon breathing again. He cries out a few times, his eyes wide. Oddly, the pigmentation is returning in his hair, and his skin is becoming a more human, natural color once again*

Harry: I-is it healing ALL of him?? D8

Todd: *He regains his human features, save for what he's GAINED through the infection, such as his claws and reflective irises. His breathing is rough and harsh as the potion continues its work*

Key: *looks more closely* I-It IS....!! W-Well, MOST of him...!

Todd: *Shaking, still healing, he cries out again in pain*

Lucifer: Don't panic. The potion WORKS like that, after all.

Key: *pulls back a bit, biting her lip nervously, waiting, waiting*

Todd: *Eventually he calms down, though the experience is a bit traumatic for him and he has a hard time remembering what happened and where he is now, and why he was HURTING so much. His recovered blue eyes search around, seeing the faces of those that, first he remembers are his friends, then recalls that he had attacked them all before* ...?

Everyone: *Takes another step away from Todd and Key*

Doctor: W-well, okay -- *He opens up the cabinet behind him and gives Zorua two - just in case* Please... Please don't forget about us. D8>

Zorua: *nods gratefully, carefully taking the bottles from him* We'll do whatever we can. D:>

Doctor: *He nods, shaking*

Lucifer: *Nods to Zorua and slips out of the already-open door*

Zorua: *restores her disguise, and walks out, hiding the bottles as best as she can, keeping them out of sight*

*They manage to escape the city with the two potions*

Lucifer: *With an exhausted sigh, he lets himself become visible again once they're at a safe distance* There. Now let's head back to the others.

Zorua: *drops the disguise, and nods, her nervousness replaced by excitement* :D

*They walk back*

Harry: *sits upright as soon as he sees them* Well?? D8

Everyone: *stares at them*

Zorua: *holds up the two bottles victoriously* :D

Harry: ... Still. I'm happy he's going to be alive again, but I'm really angry at him for being so reckless in the first place.

Lucifer: We all are, Harry. Someone bring Todd over here.

Key: *grabs Todd and tugs him over without hesitation*

Lucifer: ... *He walks over to meet Todd and Key and rips off the bandages hiding the bottom half of his face*

Todd: *He looks a little worse than before* Hhh...

Harry: *tries to contain his horror, and just stares in silence* ...

Key: --!! *quickly averts her eyes, not wanting to witness the grisly sight again*

Zorua: D8 ... *hands Lucifer one of the potions, and scampers away towards Iratus*

Lucifer: *He takes the potion and uncorks it*

Todd: *The sight and smell of the liquid causes the corpse to step back an inch, and for a fraction of a second, one can notice the fear flash across his dead, blank eyes*

Lucifer: ... Odd for a body to feel anything. *Grabs Todd's shoulder firmly*

Todd: *throws his machete against Lucifer's neck*

Lucifer: *The machete, with the grotesque sound of blade meeting flesh and bone, becomes stuck in his neck. The immortal being, though grimacing in pain from this, does not let it stop him from moving his hand from Todd's shoulder to his head and forcing the liquid into his mouth*

Todd: *He struggles fiercely*

Everyone: DD8

Zorua: *yelps audibly* DDDD8

Lucifer: *When he is sure that the body has swallowed every bit of the potion, he releases him*

Todd: *He stumbles back, managing to dislodge the machete from Lucifer's neck. He lets out an inhuman cry and and falls to the ground, convulsing on the fresh grass. His wounds begin to close up and heal*

Harry: *stares in a mix of horror and relief* DDDDD8

Iratus: *whimpers in fear* DDDDDDDDDDDDD8>

Altodd: :/

Key: D8> *kneels by the ground near him, as if to help him, but she knows she can do nothing but wait*

*The elevator, after a while, reaches the city and opens its doors*

Water City: *Is a mess, with civilians being chased by soldiers, screaming, blood everywhere, VIOLENCE everywhere. Ruined. Everything is ruined*

Lucifer: *Quietly to Zorua* ... Just ignore it. As best as you can, at least. *He starts walking to the hospital*

Zorua: *tries her best, trying to focus on the street in front of her, however difficult that may be at the moment*

Lucifer: *They walk, Lucifer being cautious of the people around him* ...

Zorua: *occasionally casts a glance out at the people they're walking by, and is dismayed by what she sees, though she's now doing a slightly better job at keeping her emotions from reaching her expression, she keeps walking*

*they reach the hospital, entering it*

Soldier: *Shouts at Zorua* Hey! What are you doing here? D:<

Lucifer: !

Zorua: ! I-I'm under orders! I have to retrieve something. D:

Lucifer: *creeps over to the soldier and whispers in his ear* ... Let her pass...

Lucifer: *nods a little to Zorua, then walks ahead*

Lucifer: *travels down the winding halls with Zorua, looking for any hint of a room that could contain the potion*

Zorua: *lets Lucifer do the looking, as she didn't want to seem too obvious*

Lucifer: ... *Suddenly pulls Zorua into a room*

Doctor: *Immediately shields a cabinet as soon as he sees Zorua* NO! NO, I WON'T LET YOU TAKE THEM! I WON'T LET YOU TAKE ANY! D8<

Lucifer: *He stays invisible to everyone except the disguised Zorua. They manage to creep part the swarm of Life City soldiers, and enter the elevator down into the invaded city* This is going to be dangerous. Avoid conversation as much as you can. I'll try to control people if it's necessary.

Zorua: *nods, trying her very hardest not to look nervous--she may be able to mask her appearance, but her emotions were still peeking through*

Lucifer: Calm yourself or you'll give us away. We want to bring Todd back to life, don't we?

Zorua: *nods again, taking a deep breath to steady herself* I-I'll be okay.

Key: *tunes back in after spacing out for the entire night, and notices with a start that Altodd has grown* ???

Blood Puppet: *To Key* ... So why did the mutt grow?

Harry: *Slowly starts waking up*

Lucifer: ... *thinks he knows the answer to Blood Puppet's question, but keeps it to himself*

Lucifer: No it didn't, or else he would have been growing while you were with him.
