Altodd: Guys, I think I have more control over that sort of thing. I'm not just gonna start hitting on the nearest woman. <:/

Harry: Altodd, I don't think you're, eh... Entirely aware of what you're doing during this time when you do it.

Altodd: *Suddenly doubles over and screams in pain, the transformation beginning*

Claire: *looks away--the transformation was rather gruesome to watch*

Key: *doesn't move too far away--she knows how to deal with him once he's turned* ...

Altodd: *He keeps transforming. With each new crackle in his body, he shifts and changes until finally, finally he is a massive, hulking beast who then throws his head back and howls at the glowing white orb in the sky*

Todd: ... Key...! Go do your thing, alright...?? D8

Blood Puppet: *IS REALLY frackING SCARED* DDDD8 !!!??

Harry: DDD8 *hopes Key can distract the monster*

Lucifer: ...

Key: Everyone else just stay still...! *slowly approaches Altodd, hoping her walking towards him will be enough to catch his attention*

Claire: *never steps out of her spot behind Harry* ...

Mia: *slowly reaches over to grab Blood Puppet's hands, her eyes never leaving the werewolf in front of her* D8 ...

Altodd: *His head snaps over to Key's direction, and he breathes out his hot breath in quick, heavy pants, teeth bared*

Blood Puppet: *Shaking and terrified* DDDDDD8

Todd: D8

Harry: D8

Lucifer: ...

Key: *steps a bit closer, her voice quiet and even* It's okay, it's just me... *slowly lifts a hand up for him to sniff* Nothing to worry about...

Mia: D8 ...

Claire: ...

Altodd: *The smile he gives her is sweet and kind. His other self knows what this means and there is momentary panic. He can't get involved with Mia -- They were already with Shidako! Though his other self's panic dies down a little upon remembering that the old Altodd's still a broken man. Still mourning the loss of Sam*

Mia: *laughs a little, heading back to where the others were*

Altodd: *Follows her, still smiling. For now, he's forgotten about Sam, and he's forgotten about Key. Altodd has forgotten about the pain he's received and the pain he's given. They soon reach the others*

Blood Puppet: *from under his mask, he glares at Altodd*

Todd: *asleep*

Lucifer: ...

Key: *asleep*

Mia: *obviously can't tell--she smiles at Blood Puppet, and sits next to him*

Blood Puppet: *He pulls her into an almost PROTECTIVE sort of hug, still glaring at Altodd*

Altodd: :/ *He finds a place to sit by himself and, after a while, sleeps*

Lucifer: Hrm.

Mia: *DOES notice this and frowns at him, but doesn't say anything. she snuggles into his shoulder and falls asleep*

The Next Morning

Altodd: *Stumbles away from everyone in order to vomit in semi-peace*

Todd: *asleep*

Lucifer: *Scrunches his nose when he sees Altodd do this*

Blood Puppet: >:/ *feels like Altodd someone deserves this*

Harry: *waking up* ...?

Mia: *also very asleep*

Altodd: *Vomits up bile and some of last night's dinner, tightly holding onto a tree for support*

Todd: Yeah. Altodd's upchucking yesterday's dinner like a vomit-sprinkler. I think it's because he MIGHT POSSIBLY be a werewolf and there's a SLIGHT CHANCE that a full moon's tonight.

Altodd: *desperately holds onto the tree to keep his balance* ... Ugh...

Blood Puppet: *Panics a little at the thought of that massive dog monster coming at him with open jaws* !!

Harry: Ah, well then. XC

Lucifer: We should get moving while we still can. Who knows how much ground we'll lose because of Altodd?

Claire: Good plan. D;

Mia: *feels pretty bad for Altodd* <:/ ...

Key: <:I *gets up, dusting herself off* Well, let Altodd catch his breath, and we can go.

Altodd: *Wheezes a bit* I'm... I'm fuh-fine now... I'm okay. Let's go. DX

Everyone: :/ *Walks*

*They walk for a while. The day before a full moon is always an uneasy one*

Mia: *isn't too sure what to expect. He had seen him transform ONCE, but after that, he had gotten stuck that way--how is it SUPPOSED to go?

Key: *constantly glances over at Altodd, waiting for him to start showing signs of transforming*

Claire: *walks quietly*

Altodd: Alright -- Think you want to try it against me, then? Don't worry, I won't hit back. :P

Mia: Well, I guess it can't hurt... let's give it a shot. C:< *faces him, holding the sword up like he taught her*

Altodd: *Gets ready to block any attack she throws at him. He's happy about how quickly she's learned. In fact, he's happy to just be with her, it seems*

Mia: *attacks, swinging at him horizontally, a bit hesitant to put too much strength behind it*

Altodd: *Blocks the attack, standing his ground against it* Come on! Put some more force into it! I'm the enemy, alright? You need to be better than the enemy! >:D

Mia: *smirks* Alright, you asked for it! *attacks again, with more ferocity*

Altodd: *Blocks it, though he stumbles a little* Good! More! Attack me like that again! >:D

Mia: *attacks him again and again, but is quickly wearing herself out*

Altodd: *Blocks that attack, now more ready for her* Again! One last time, come on!

Mia: *takes one more swing at him, trying to put as much power behind it as she can*

Altodd: *He blocks it but this time he stumbles and falls onto his back* Oof! *Altodd then sits himself up, grinning at her - Grinning? That seems so much more like Todd-thing to do...* That was great! We can practice more of that after tomorrow. :D

Mia: *grins back--see, THAT was the face she remembered* Okay, good, because I think my arms are going numb. XP *sheathes her sword, then holds a hand out to help Altodd up*

Altodd: And yet your arms aren't numb enough to help me up. |:P *Lets her help him up* Thanks. I guess we should head back, then. :)

Mia: Yep. Everyone else is probably asleep. :I *starts heading back* Oh--thanks again for the lessons, I really appreciate it.

Altodd: Well... *Softly* ... Thanks for being a friend, even after all that stuff you heard about me. <:)

Mia: *smiles* The past is past, you know? S'what you do now that matters. :)

Altodd: *Raises an eyebrow at her, then puts down his sword and steps around to her back again. He moves in until they touch once more, and once again, he uses his hands to guide Mia's sword, showing her how to swing upwards correctly* ... Like this, see? Just like this.

Mia: *finds that she rather enjoys that closeness* Mmmokay, I think I got it this time...

Altodd: Alright then -- *He steps away from her and walks over to her side* Try it on your own, then. :)

Mia: *huffs, readying herself, then tries it again* ...Like that?

Altodd: *For the first time since before the infection, there is enthusiasm in his voice* Yeah, just like that! That was perfect! :D See, I think you'll do great with a sword, you just need a little help is all. :)

Mia: Practice DOES make perfect, heheh. :) So, time to head back, or do you have anything more to teach me? :P

Altodd: I have plenty to teach you... But the real question is, are you still up for learning tonight? We can stop now and pick it up again to -- ... *catches himself staring at the moon, but shakes it off* ... Never mind. Can't tomorrow.

Mia: Whuh. Why not... *trails off as she follows his gaze* ...Oh. Oh, okay. Well, I'm up for a few more lessons. :P

Altodd: *With a small smile* ... Alright. I want you to try hitting that tree over there *points to his right* So you can get a good feel for using a sword on a physical target while also applying what I taught you.

Mia: Awesome, okay. *faces the tree, lower lip jutting out in concentration. she takes a few swings at it, leaving marks in the trunk*

Altodd: Good, keep that up until you tire out. Or maybe we can switch over to trying that against me if you're ready later. :)

Mia: *blinks a bit, not really expecting that smile on his face, but she grins* You got it. *attacks the tree with renewed vigor*

Altodd: *Watches Mia work at the tree, noting how deeply she's cutting into it* Don't be afraid to swing a little harder!

Mia: *does as suggested--and at one point, swings hard enough to get the sword stuck in the tree* ...uh. eheh. *tugs at it* ...help.

Altodd: Well, still, good job on the powerful blow. *He walks over and yanks the sword out with one hand, then hands it to Mia* Here.

Mia: *takes it* Thaaank you. XP So uh, I think that's enough of the tree. >___>

Altodd: Don't try hitting the ground with your sword. Instead, try making a pinwheel motion so you can get back in a ready position easier. Every follow-through with your sword needs to be smooth. Not clunky.

Harry: *Pulls her even closer, so their bodies are touching. The experience is still quite arousing for him*

Todd: Alright, you wanna uh, head over to a tree? I don't want you falling down on your face. ^^;

Mia: *nods, and tries again, this time keeping her sword from touching the ground, pulling it back up to the ready position* Like that?

Claire: *rubs Harry's back, combing her other hand through her hair, happily drinking her fill*

Key: I'd like to keep my face intact, thanks. :P *goes to sit down against a tree*

Altodd: Well, almost... Your follow-through's still a little awkward... I don't know how I can show you, but... Well, hang on. *He steps closer to her* Here, let me show you how to do it. I'll guide your arms. *He then puts down his sword and steps behind her, close enough for his chest to be touching her back. He takes her sword as she holds it and moves the sword downwards and around smoothly* ... Like that.

Claire: *stops when she feels him start to become unbalanced in her arms. she pulls her teeth away from the wound and replaces them with her tongue, licking away the extra blood that seeped out of the holes*

Key: *smiles back at him, closing her eyes, leaning her head into his hand*

Altodd: Okay... Alright. *He steps away from Mia* Now try it on your own.

Harry: *Lets out a weaker sort of moan, still blissful, even with the blood loss*

Todd: *he nuzzles her cheek, kisses her, then whispers in her ear* ... Go to sleep until the morning.

Lucifer: ...

Blood Puppet: ...

Mia: Huff... *swings again, and follows through, getting it right for the most part* Like that?

Claire: *pulls away for a moment to help him sit down against the tree, then leans right back in again, kissing his shoulder, his neck, wanting to drink more but knowing she can't*

Key: *smiles softly, and falls limp against him, asleep instantly*

Altodd: *Grins happily at her, somewhat proud that she mostly managed to get it on her own* Yeah... Like that. :D

Harry: *too dizzy and tired to really respond, he just lies his head against the tree and lets Claire do what she wants, enjoying all of it*

Todd: *Hugs her to him, still smiling. It doesn't take too long for him to fall asleep as well, arm still around her*

Claire: *nuzzles into his neck, taking a deep breath, the smell of the blood pulsing under his skin almost irresistible. she lets that breath out as a long sigh--she was satisfied. for now*

Altodd: An upward swing, if you're up for it. It's the same as what you just learned, but in reverse. Also, since you're swinging the sword upward, it's going to be a bit harder because you have to fight against the sword's weight. You think you wanna try it today?

Harry: *Lifts his hand to gently caress her cheek with the back of it. He gives her a tired smile*

Mia: Hey, we got time to kill. :P *lowers her blade, then tries swinging upwards--as he had warned, it was a lot more difficult than it sounded*

Claire: *smiles back, and leans up to gently kiss him*

Altodd: Hey, careful! D: Don't get yourself hurt while trying to do this -- Make sure to only swing up to your eye level so the sword isn't swung over to hit your head. It's incredibly important to stay in control of your sword at all times when doing that type of swing, too. In fact, it's best to just do that to parry an attack until you're more used to using it offensively.

Altodd: *Whispers to Mia* It's something that got into him while we were all here, or so I've been told. It's a spirit-monster-parasite-thing that seems to always react when Harry's angry or upset.

Lucifer: They're called demekarrs. And yes, they feed off of negative emotions and leave the hosts weak and helpless afterwards.

Blood Puppet: ...

Mia: Um. Okay, I guess. So Key has one too? D:

Key: Yyyyep.

Claire: *kneels down next to Harry* Harry? <:(

Blood Puppet: *Looks over at Mia and moves his hand up to rub her shoulder. A way to assure her that he's fine*

Key: *walks along with Todd like that, happier than she's been in a while*

Claire: *walks with Harry, her hunger forgotten, for now* <3

Mia: *her smile widens, and she puts a hand over his, rubbing it with her thumb*

Blood Puppet: *Is happy with Mia there*

*Suddenly a necromancer comes out from behind a tree and raises his hand to Claire*

Necromancer: Doera usst, kla'ath l' nesst, kla'ath l' ssussun!

Claire: !!-- *suddenly goes blank, under the necromancer's control*

Key: D:<!! *is the first to move, swiping at the necromancer*

Mia: !!!! *fumbles to take out her sword*

Necromancer: *leaps backwards, out of the way of Key's attack* Vampire! Attack your friends! D:< *This necromancer seems more passionate than others*

Todd: *Also slashes at the necromancer* You know, after we've been ambushed by you guys a bajillion and one times, you'd think Occulta would have the brains to send more than JUST ONE at us this time! D:<

Necromancer: Occulta didn't send me! I don't work for him! D:<

Todd: Wait, wuh -- ? *is punched by the necromancer*

Harry: *feels dazed from Claire's state of mind effecting his*

Altodd: *stays close to Mia, acting protective of her*

Blood Puppet: *same*

Lucifer: *Keeps a fireball ready*

Mia: *keeps the sword out, in case she has to use it* D:>!?

Claire: *turns on them, going after Harry first*

Harry: *is suddenly taken over by Shezmul, who forces Harry out of the way* I will not lose this host THAT easily! D8<

Necromancer: Nobody "sent" me! I came on the divine word of Kyria N'kri! *Dodges Key again in the same manner as before* 'And She shall cleanse the planet of chaos, of evil, of the outside'!

Todd: Sounds racist. D;

Necromancer: YOU SHALL PAY FOR YOUR -- !! *is suddenly stabbed by Blood Puppet* !? *quickly dies on his katana*

Blood Puppet: *shoves him off his blade with his foot* Sorry, I'm an atheist.

Altodd: ... Well that was anticlimatic. D:

Claire: *snaps out of her daze, looking incredibly confused* ...???!

Mia: *putting her sword away* Better anticlimactic than brutally tragic. D;

Lucifer: ... I've heard that name before while working for Occulta.

Blood Puppet: So have I.

Todd: Eh, I've heard it come up among the necromancers every now and then. <:/

Lucifer: It must be their deity.

Blood Puppet: ... Their goddess of order. They worship a boring, difference-hating, violence-hating, excitement-hating lady in a grey robe. I would know. I've seen the statues. I've been pelted with the necromancers words and whatnot, condemning me for existing.

S. Harry: DON'T YOU DARE JUST IGNORE ME LIKE THIS! D8<

Todd: Must be why all the necromancers are super crazy-mellow. To be closer to their "Kyria N'kri" goddess lady.

Mia: But that guy didn't really seem all that mellow at ALL. D:

Claire: ! *notices that Shezmul has a hold on Harry, and glares at him*

Blood Puppet: I doubt she exists.

Todd: D8 !! *ducks, then grabs upwards, catching the tentacles and throwing them out of the way*

Blood Puppet: *readies his katana*

Mia: !!! *pulls out her sword again, now even more confused* D8/???

Claire: *through her teeth* Make this easy for yourself, Shezmul. Give him back, or we'll take him back.

Key: *turns into her own demekarr form as if to prove a point, snarling at Shezmul*

Key: *gets up, and holds a hand out to Todd*

Blood Puppet: Alright. Go we shall, then.

Claire: *tries to ignore her hunger as best as she can, both for her sake as well as Harry's*

Key: *walks along quietly with Todd*

Mia: *walks next to Blood Puppet, also silent* ...

Altodd: *Steps over to Mia while they walk. He attempts conversation* ... So college in Philly, huh? Same one I went to?

Blood Puppet: *keeps a protective arm around Mia, not liking Altodd's presence near her* ...

Harry: *Can feel Claire's hunger, and it's driving hi crazy* 8C

Mia: *lightly touches Blood Puppet's hand as they walk, trying to assure him that he has nothing to worry about* Yep. Key was my roommate. ^^;

Claire: *is determined to wait until they stop for the night*

Key: *wishes she could still see in color so she could do the same as Todd* XI

Altodd: Track and field. I did a lot of extra activities, all of which were physical. Parkour, baseball, soccer, wrestling, archery -- I tried getting Harry to come along with me for that one day. He wasn't any good.

Harry and Altodd: *End up smiling a little again*

Blood Puppet: *has a hard time imagining a peaceful lifestyle. He's only known violence all his life*

Key: *smiles, then puts an arm around him and pulls him into a one-armed hug* <3

Claire: *also smiles--she keeps ahold of Harry's hand*

Mia: *breathes a small sigh of relief (thaaank you, Todd.). she looks up at Blood Puppet, smiling at him, still not quite sure how he;s feeling under that mask...*

Altodd: *Scoots back over to a tree and attempts to sleep against it*

Todd: You want me to help you, Key?

Lucifer: ! ... Todd. Those powers are incredibly dangerous in your hands, you know.

Todd: :/ ?

Harry: ?

Key: ! ...He hasn't been doing much with them, Lucifer.

Mia: *looks over at them* ...?

Claire: ...

Lucifer: ... Not yet, no. But Todd's psychotic, and although I've numbed that part of him a bit, it's still there. That, and those powers were able to drive Sarah to the brink of insanity. I just fear the worst.

Todd: Hey, don't worry! I'm careful! ^^;

Lucifer: ... I'll wait. If I must strip those powers from you, Todd, I will.

Altodd: ...

Blood Puppet: :/ ...

Harry: ...

Key: <:/ ....

Mia: *gives Blood Puppet a confused look* ...?

Claire: *sighs* ...just get some rest...

Harry: <:/ ... *He nuzzles Claire a bit, then tries going to sleep*

Altodd: *Trying to sleep*

Lucifer: ...

Blood Puppet: *Just shrugs his shoulders at Mia*

Claire: *nuzzles him back, falling asleep a little while later*

Key: *nods* That would be nice. <:(

Todd: <:/ *He leans in, holding her face, brushing some hair behind her ear with his thumb, and whispers to her* ... Fall asleep, Key.

Lucifer: ...

Harry: *Is soon asleep as well*

Altodd: dozes off*

Blood Puppet: *Holds Mia there, happy that she's with him*

Key: *gives him a small smile before her eyes droop closed, and her head falls against his shoulder*

Mia: *falls asleep against Blood Puppet's shoulder*

Todd: *Gives Key his own tired smile before leaning back against a tree, holding her close, and drifting off to sleep, himself*

Everyone: *Except for Blood Puppet and Lucifer, goes to sleep*

The Next Morning

Todd: *Still asleep*

Lucifer: *Incredibly worried about Todd as a potential threat*

Blood Puppet: *stroking Mia's hair* ...

Harry: *Asleep*

Altodd: *Waking up* Mfh...

Mia: *is comfortably asleep against Blood Puppet*

Key: *is still completely unconscious*

Claire: *wakes up, feeling a little bit hungry... though not nearly hungry enough to wake Harry* ...

Blood Puppet: *doesn't move from his spot, not wanting to wake Mia up*

Todd: *Groggily wakes up* ...? Oh... *He whispers in Key's ear* ... Time to wake up, Key.

Harry: *asleep*

Lucifer: ...

Altodd: *Awake now. He stretches*

Key: Mm...? *lifts her head, and smiles drowsily at Todd* Good morning... :)

Mia: *asleep*

Claire: *rests against Harry, waiting* ...

Todd: *Gives her a smile and nuzzles her head* Good morning to you too. =^^=

Altodd: *Gets up and grabs his sword* ...

Harry: *waking up* ... Mh...

Lucifer: ...

Key: *leans up to kiss his cheek* Sleep okay?

Claire: ! *gently rubs his shoulder, resting her head against his* Morning...

Mia: *waking up* ...?

Todd: I did, thanks... It helps when I'm sleeping with you. <3

Blood Puppet: ! Good morning, Mia. :)

Harry: ... Mhm... You hungry?

Altodd: *Waits for the others* ...

Lucifer: *same*

Key: *Nuzzles him* Good. <3

Claire: Only a little bit, I can wait until we stop again...

Mia: *gives him a sleepy smile* Morning, Walt...

Todd: ... Do you think Lucifer might be right? That me having these powers is dangerous? <:/

Blood Puppet: Had a good sleep, then? :)

Altodd: *waits for the others*

Key: Well, you really haven't been using them for anything other than helping me sleep, so I don't see how it's a problem... as long as you don't use them for more than that, I guess. <:/
