Harry: *he hugs Key tightly, still clutching the gun, releasing a sob. Not again. Not again*

Walter: <:(

Key: *hugs him back just as tightly, trying her best not to cry. no, there was no point in losing her wits now, it was all going to be over soon... but if Harry didn't do something quick, she may just have second thoughts...*

Mia: *can't watch* ...

Harry: *he then slowly brings the gun to her head, ready to pull the trigger. He hesitates*

Walter: ... Harry... D:>

Harry: I KNOW...! I know...

Key: ! *closes her eyes and tenses up when she feels the gun barrel against her head, her grip on him tightening slightly. she whimpers quietly*

Mia: J-Just get it over with...! D:>

Harry: *he hesitates even more, before just setting the gun down, shaking, whispering* I-I CAN'T...!

Walter: 'Arry, you HAVE TO! D8

Key: !! *looks up at him, her tone pleading* PLEASE, you HAVE TO! I-I DDON'T WANT TO END UP LIKE THEM! *points at the door*

Mia: D:> ...

Harry: *he just scoots away from her, sobbing again* I-I just can't do it...!

Walter: D8 ...

Key: *grabs his wrist before he can get too far* ...please...! I-I don't want to...

Mia: ... *leaves the room, going into another part of the safehouse. she couldn't be there anymore*

Walter: ! *goes after her*

Harry: No...! I already killed Todd, don't make me watch you die too!! D8>

Key: I'd rather die NOW while I'm still MYSELF and NOT after I've turned into a MONSTER...!

Mia: *puts a hand over her eyes, trying to hold her feelings in. Was this how Harry felt when Todd...?*

Harry: C-can't we wait...? J-just a few hours... j-just in case...

Walter: ... How long did you know her?

Mia: However long the school year's been so far, plus a week or so before then... but... heh... I guess I'm a bit more attached to her than I thought.

Key: *looks him right in the eyes, completely serious* ...Promise me... promise me that if I show ANY signs of turning, you'll kill me.

Harry: O-okay... I promise... *he refuses to accept how little a chance Key has of being immune*

Key: ... *lets go of his arm, and looks away, voice quiet* ...Thank you.

Mia: *sighs* ...I'm sorry for last night, by the way.

Harry: *he just looks at her sadly, tears rolling down his cheeks silently*

Walter: ... I'm also sorry for last night... I'm ESPECIALLY sorry for last night...

Key: ... *sinks to her knees, despairing. one way or another, she was convinced she was going to die soon. she breaks down into sobs*

Mia: You were right, though...

Harry: *quietly* P-please don't cry...

Mia: *looks away* Mmh... *glances at the door* ...It's quiet out there...

Walter: Boy oh boy, just frack this, right? >:(

Harry: ... Uh... yeah... <:/ *shoots zombies*

Key: *kills zombies* Well, it could be worse.

Mia: *silently mows down a small horde* ...

*just then, with a scream and a flying leap, a hunter lands on Key and starts clawing at her*

Harry: !!! KEY!! D8

Walter: D8 !!!

Key: *cries out first in shock, then in pain as the infected claws at her stomach* HELP ME!!! DDDDDDDDDDDDDD8>

Mia: D8>!!! *doesn't shoot, from fear of hitting Key (her aim wasn't very accurate)*

Harry: *he grabs the hunter and pulls him off of Key, screaming angrily at it as it screams just as angrily back at Harry. He throws the infected to the ground and, before it can move, he blows it's head apart with a point-blank shot from his shotgun. He then turns to Key* ... Oh no... oh no, oh no... D8>

Walter: We'll worry about it later! We need to get to the next safe house! D8<

Key: *manages to get herself back on her feet, hissing at the sharp pain in her stomach. the injury wasn't too bad, but it was bleeding--and that was bad enough*

Mia: Oh god oh god oh god-- *notices the red house* SAFEHOUSE! GO! D8>

*They all run to the Safe House and bar the door, no more infected coming to stop them*

Harry: ... K-Key...! D8>

Walter: ... <:(

Key: *stays by the door, afraid to come near them. she takes her hand off the wound, and stares at the blood on her fingers, horrified. there was no way she wasn't infected. simply no way* ...o-oh god....

Mia: D:> ...

Walter: ... W-we need to do something...

Harry: *shakes his head slowly, staring at Key. Not again. Not again. Not again*

Key: ...Y-You can't do anything, I'm as good as dead...!

Mia: Don't say that..!

Key: You know it's true! D8>

Walter: ... No... I meant... *he eyes Harry's shotgun* ...

Harry: N-no - n-no we can't! Th-there could be a cure! D8>

Key: *follows his gaze, and stares* ...

Mia: B-But we can't just--

Key: *quietly* We agree we would... y-you can't let me TURN, you CAN'T....!

Harry: *he falls silent, tears in his eyes, staring at Key* D8> ...

Walter: ... So... who'll do it?

Key: *is shaking, terrified of what was to come--but no, it was necessary. she looks up at the three of them, her eyes pleading*

Mia: *refuses to meet her gaze--she remains silent. she won't do it* ...

Walter: *also looks away from Key, unable to do it as well*

Harry: ... S-so it has to be m-me, huh...?

Key: *turns her attention to him--yes, it should be Harry, he'd make sure it wouldn't hurt. She doesn't say anything, though, her expression said enough*

Mia: ... *simply turns away, not wanting to watch*

Walter: *looks down at the floor* ...

Harry: ... G-goddamnit... *he steps over to Key and takes her gun. He trembles with it, tears rolling down his cheeks as he looks into her eyes*

Mia: *refuses to watch* ...

Key: *her expression mirrors Harry's. She didn't want any of this to happen... she never wanted to die. But dying was better than suffering for the rest of your life, right? she clings to that thought, the only good thing she could possibly think of at the moment, staring back at Harry with that fear in her eyes*

The Next Morning

Harry: *he groggily wakes up and gets ready*

Walter: *for once he's still asleep*

Key: *is still asleep*

Mia: *had been sitting awake, not really wanting to move. when she sees Harry get up, she sighs, figuring it's time to get her butt of the ground, and does so* ...'mornin...

Harry: *quietly to Mia, still getting ready* Morning.

Walter: *still asleep*

Mia: *also starts getting ready* ...sorry you had to see that...

Key: *asleep*

Harry: ... I've seen worse. I've experienced worse. I'm glad he didn't kill you.

Walter: *asleep*

Mia: ...Do you think he WOULD have...?

Key: *asleep*

Harry: ... I don't know. I don't know him that well. But I thought he would.

Walter: *asleep*

Mia: Mmh... I would HOPE he wouldn't...

Key: *asleep*

Harry: ... Well, it's in the past now, I guess.

Walter: *waking up* ...?

Mia: ! *goes quiet, loading her rifle*

Key: *asleep*

Harry: Good morning, Walter.

Walter: Mrgh... *he gets up and gets his katana, then looks around for supplies* ...

Mia: *frowns, looking away from him, not wanting to make eye contact* ...

Key: *wakes up* ...? Mrrruhhhhey guys...

Harry: Good morning, Key.

Walter: Hrmph.

Mia: ....

Key: ... >___> *gets up, and quietly gets ready*

Harry: *he gets ready*

Walter: *is not in a good mood*

Mia: *is ready. she still doesn't look at Walter* ...

Key: *puts her gas mask on* We ready to go? <:/

Harry: *puts his mask on* Yup. Let's go.

Walter: *opens the door and trudges out, slicing up any zombies that come near him*

Mia: *tries to stay away from Walter, shooting up zombies*

Key: *also kills zombies*

Walter: Those three people, in case you were wondering, were trying to KILL US! D8<

Mia: That doesn't mean it was right for you to kill THEM! D:<

Walter: WAS IT?? SO I SHOULD HAVE JUST SAT BACK AND LET THEM SHOOT US?? OR PERHAPS YOU'D RATHER WE ALL SIT DOWN AND SIP TEA, AND ALL OUR DIFFERENCES WOULD SORT THEMSELVES OUT!! D8<

Mia: I THINK SCARING THEM OFF WOULD HAVE WORKED JUST FINE!

Key: *looks at Harry, feeling incredibly helpless* D:>

Harry: *he looks back at Key. He is actually terrified that they might try killing each other*

Mia: AND WHY, DARE I ASK, WILL IT NOT WORK?

Walter: BECAUSE THEY HAD TO DEAL WITH MUTATED ZOMBIES FOR WEEKS, AND THEY HAD GUNS, AND I HAD A KATANA - WHICH DO YOU THINK THEY EXPECTED TO WIN?? DDD8<

Mia: DID YOU NOT SEE THEIR FACES WHEN YOU DEFLECTED EVERY SINGLE SHOT LIKE SOME GODDAMNED ACTION MOVIE HERO? DID YOU NOT SEE YOU FREAKED OUT THEY WERE?!

Mia: No, I didn't. But ENOUGH people are dead because of this fracking virus, and we didn't need to kill off any more ourselves.

Walter: *snarling* They would have killed you. If I wasn't fast enough, they would have killed ALL of us... people were going to die either way! D:<

Mia: --! *looks over at Harry* ...You know what? That's a fracking BRILLIANT idea. *plops down against a wall, scowling*

Key: *breathes a sigh of relief, and hopes Walter won't continue the argument* ...

Walter: *he snorts and walks over to the opposite wall of Mia, curling up and trying to sleep*

Harry: <:( ...

Mia: *watches him for a moment, before sighing, and closing her eyes* ...

Key: *glances up at Harry again* <:/ ...

Harry: *quietly to Key* ... Let's also sleep... *he finds a spot to sit down at and tries sleeping*

Walter: *is bitter*

Key: *sits close to Harry*, and also tries to sleep*

Mia: *is also bitter, but she can already feel it fading* ....

Harry: *he quickly falls asleep next to Key*

Walter: *he also falls asleep after a while*

Key: *also quickly dozes off*

Mia: *takes a bit longer than the rest of them, but also eventually falls asleep*

Gruff: Alrighty-then. *keeps going*

The Others: *same*

Harry: ... *follows them*

Walter: *also follows them, very cautious*

Key: *lags behind a bit, keeping her distance* ....

Mia: *spots a safehouse in the distance* hey! Over there. *points*

Gruff: Good.

*they all enter the safe house and shut and bar the door... and then the three survivors point their guns at Harry, Walter, Key and Mia*

Sleazy: Drop you weapons.

Harry: D8< !!??

Walter: I knew it.

Key: D8>??!

Mia: *doesn't move* and if we don't?

Gruff: What are you, stupid or something? If you don't, we SHOOT YOU.

Harry: *quietly* Just do what he says, Mia... *he slowly puts his shotgun down on the floor*

Walter: ... *puts his katana down* >:(

Key: *immediately puts the guns down, afraid*

Mia: ... *sets her rifle down*

Walter: *he glares darkly at the three hostile survivors... then bends down and picks his katana back up*

Harry: *hissing through his teeth* WALTER...!

Gruff: Not smart, little man. >:/

*all the hostile survivors shoot at Walter*

Walter: *he quickly beats their bullets away with his katana, his speed like nothing they've all seen before*

Sleazy: What the fuh...? D8

Walter: *he then impales the tall survivor with his sword and just as quickly slices the throat of the hooker*

Gruff: *cries out in fear*

Harry: *does the same as the hairy survivor, not expecting that level of violence from Walter*

Key: !!!! *steps slightly behind harry* D8!!!

Mia: *is just as shocked as the rest of them*

Walter: *hissing at the gruff survivor, pointing his blade at his throat* You don't deserve any mercy... you could get away with shoot like this BEFORE the green flu... as long as no one caught you... but here, I CAN murder you... simply because I think you don't DESERVE to live... not understanding teamwork... not understanding HUMANITY...

Gruff: P-please! Don't do this! D8>

Walter: YOU THINK I'LL PITY YOU?? AFTER YOU POINTED A GUN AT MY FRIENDS?? YOU THINK I'LL JUST LET YOU GO LIKE SOME HERO FROM A FUNNY BOOK?? frack YOU!! *he then shoves his katana into the survivor's throat and down it, making him vomit blood. He twists the katana, making the man suffer until finally his life is extinguished. Then he pulls out the katana, shimmering red with blood. The body drops at his feet* ... Wanker...

Harry: *he's horrified* D8 ...

Key: *had looked away when Walter had raised his voice, and when she heard the sounds, she was glad she had*

Mia: *had been unable to look away. she stares in horror* D8 ...

Walter: Now that that's taken care of... Harry, will you help me drag these bodies outside? I'm sure the zombies will enjoy a free meal.

Harry: D8 ... o-okay... *he helps Walter drag the bodies outside, then sits in a corner or the tiny safe house, horrified*

Walter: Idiots. They actually thought that they could get away with this...

Key: ! *stay close to Harry, now incredibly scared of Walter, and what he could do* D8> ...

Mia: *hasn't moved from her spot--she finally manages to sputter out* W-Why did you DO that...?! D8>

Walter: Mia, they had GUNS pointed at us. They NEEDED to die.

Harry: D8> ...

Mia: I-I think you deflecting BULLETS was enough to scare them off! D8 They would have LEFT if you had let them!

Key: D8 ....

Walter: You'd be surprised. They'd probably just try again - the idiots.

Harry: D8 ...

Mia: Then we would have scared them off AGAIN! Those doors can stop zombies, they can stop people too! Killing them was unnecessary!

Key: *watches* D8 ...

Walter: They could have pointed their guns through the door and shot us while we were sleeping. Hell, they could have UNLOCKED the door through the bars!

Harry: ... L-let's stop fighting... please...

Key: I agree with Harry-- D:>

Mia: *cuts her off* Walter, you just killed three people!! How can you think that's OKAY?! D:

Harry: I slept well. You? :)

Walter: :3

Key: Yep. :) *hands him his shotgun*

Mia: Are we ready to go yet~?

Harry: *to Key* Thank you. ^^ *to Mia* Not quite yet. *puts on his gas mask*

Walter: Maybe the disease ISN'T airborne? I mean, I've been wandering around without one of those things and I'm FINE...

Harry: Maybe you're immune.

Mia: *puts her mask on* I do hope so. And he wasn't infected when that huge thing grabbed him either.

Key: Well, I hope we won't have to be proven otherwise. :I *puts her mask on*

Walter: ... I can't imagine being one of those things... do they even feel pain? And if they do... how much hell do they have to go through every day?

Harry: Just don't think about it too much.

Key: I'm with Harry on this one. D; Err... we should probably get moving, while the sun's up.

Mia: Good plan. Are we ready NOW~?

Harry: Yes, everyone's ready. Let's go.

Walter: Alright then. *he opens the door*

*they run out and shoot the zombies surrounding the safe house*

*and so they move on*

Key: *after walking for a while, she hears gunshots up ahead* Whoa, hey! PEOPLE! :D

Mia: Sounds like it. :o

Walter: ... Careful.

Harry: You really think people are stupid enough to try killing other survivors? |:/

Walter: From experience, I don't think. I know.

Harry: Well, what are the chances?

Key: Should we avoid them, then? Just to be safe?

Mia: Mmh...

Harry: That's ridiculous. We could stick together with them, whoever they are. Maybe they know more about handling guns than WE do!

Walter: Well, fine. We can go look, I suppose.

Key: Alright... *starts walking over where she heard the guns going off*

Mia: *follows her*

*they head over to the source of the noise, where they find three survivors, all adults. One is a big, gruff sort of man with an unchecked beard growing wildly about his face. He holds a combat shotgun and appears to be taking down zombies easily. The second is a tall, lanky man, rather sleazy-looking man in a sweater (which is so splattered with blood that it's hard to tell what the original color was). He takes out zombies with an M15. Finally on the team appears to be what once was a hooker, now survivor, with tangled, oily black hair, a cigarette in her mouth, and wearing a long black coat to cover up... something. She slaughters zombies with an AK-47*

Walter: Hey! Hey there! It's nice to see other survivors!

Gruff Man: Yeah. Real nice to see others like us.

Sleazy Man: *grins a bit*

Harry: Maybe we can join you guys?

Hooker: Strength in numbers. I like that idea. ;) What do you think, boys?

Sleazy: Sure. They can join.

Gruff: I fully agree.

Key: *is having second thoughts--she knows she shouldn't judge by appearance, but there was something WRONG about these guys... She couldnt trust them* ...

Mia: *was also a bit iffy, but hey, maybe they wouldn't be too bad* Awesome. Let's keep going then, shall we?

Walter: *he whispers as well* ... It is. We should, perhaps, do this more often...

Mia: I'd be okay with that...

Walter: I know you would. <3 *he nuzzles her again*

Mia: *nuzzles back, kissing his cheek* mm... maybe we should try to get some rest...

Walter: Maybe so, yeah... we'll just put our clothes back on and head over to the others?

Mia: Sure.. wouldn't want them to walk in on us again, would we? <:P

Walter: Haha, too true... *he puts his clothes back on*

Mia: *does the same, and quietly leaves the room with Walter*

Walter: *sits down near Key and Harry* ...

Key: *is snuggled against Harry* X)

Mia: ... :) *sits next to walter*

Walter: *snuggles against Mia, closing his eyes*

Harry: *leaning on Key, asleep*

Mia: *snuggles back, falling asleep quickly*

Key: *zzz*

Walter: *he too, soon falls asleep*

The Next Morning

Walter: *up and getting ready*

Harry: *asleep*

Mia: *is also awake, getting her things together*

Key: *wakes up* ...?

Walter: *finds Mia's gas mask and hands it to her, then scrounges around for any supplies they may have missed*

Harry: *asleep*

Mia: *takes it, nodding a thank you, then loads her gun*

Key: ! *gets up and retrieves both her and Harry's guns from the shelf*

Harry: *Wakes up from this* ...?

Walter: Morning, 'Arry. *gets his katana*

Harry: ... Morning.

Key: *holds a hand out to Harry to help him up* Sleep okay?

Mia: ... :3 *keeps getting ready*

Walter: Alright - *he takes his shirt off* There we go. :3

Mia: Yay. :3 *hugs him close to herself again* You want me to get rid of mine? ;3

Walter: THAT would only make me want to grope you. :3

Mia: I'd be okay with that. ;9

Walter: Well alright then. Go for it, lovely. <3

Mia: :3 *pulls off her top (not like there was much of it, anyway), and tosses it aside*

WalteR: *like he said, he gropes her* >:3

Walter: *also kisses her, still groping her*

Mia: *hums with pleasure as she kisses him, rubbing his back*

Walter: Mnn... careful of my injuries, love.

Walter: *he smiles at her, informing her silently that he's fine. He hugs her*

Mia: *nuzzles into his neck, lightly drawing small circles on his lower back with her fingers* ... <3

Walter: *he silently combs through her hair, enjoying the feeling of her fingers on his back*

Mia: *sighs quietly, enjoying their closeness. she lightly kisses his shoulder, and up his neck* ... <3

Walter: *he nuzzles her, also enjoying that closeness. It's warm. It's different*

Mia: *nuzzles back, and kisses him. she whispers* ...this is nice...

Walter: *kisses Mia back enthusiastically*

Mia: *continues to kiss him, enjoying the moment*

Mia: Heh... we can still do stuff, if you're up for it...

Mia: *raises an eyebrow, but says nothing--she leans back against the shelves, and waits* ~♪

Walter: *he comes back dressed as Han Solo* :3
