All right!!! So my name is Nathan Johnson. I am a student that will be attending Angelo State University with my brother in the Fall of 2008 and I love to draw! I'm a Music Major, currently 21 years old. In 2 years, I will recieve my Bachelor's degree in Music and I can become a Music Teacher. Yess!!! I post most of my fanart at this site because I love it.
Hobbies: Drawing pictures, making comics, Anime, video games, music, singing, musicals, going to the gym.
Favorite Anime: Sailor Moon (most of my fanart is of this anime), Tenchi Muyo, Digimon, Dragon Ball sagas, Princess Tutu, Slayers, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Princess Yucie (haven't watched much other anime)
Favorite Games: Final Fantasy's 5,8,9,10, 10-2, Tactics and 12, Super Smash Bros. series, Breath of Fire 3, Halo 3, Pokemon series, X-men Legends series, Soul Calibur games, Street Fighter series, Kingdom Hearts series, Dragon Ball Z, Grandia series, and that's all I can think of for now...
Why Sailor Moon as your favorite Anime? It was the first anime that I had seen on tv that really sucked me in. A young girl that was destined to bring peace to the world with her allies and the power of the planets. I dunno, but after all these years I still love to watch it on youtube and DVD. She was a powerful leader in my opinion. Sure she fought, and the action episodes ruled!!! But she also forgave most of her enemies and even cleansed them, not stuff you see in other anime's that often. Plus, I loved the artwork and the characters as well. Can't explain it, but Sailor Moon is and probably always will be my favorite anime.
So I do requests if anyone is wondering, and I apologize to anyone if I haven't gotten around to a request. Laterz for now! Jet_lunarskye

I'm so honoured I made it to your favourites list, since you're new your going to find there are artists a lot better than me, lol.
You're not a bad artist yourself.
The digimon characters belong to Shelli-Po, she's a very nice person from Digimon FDD. If your into digimon, check out there site some time.
I would draw more, but my compy's playing up and I can't scan pics so when I get a computer I'll be scanning mad!!
Ah, I ramble on a lot, sorry!
Thanks again!

WAAAAHHHHHH, WHY DID NOBODY LEAVE A COMMENT HERE BEFORE??!? Well, in that case I have no other choice *evilgrin*... WELCOME TO FANART CENTRAL ^___________^ Thanks for commenting on my pic, I'm glad you like it (though it looked kinda crappy ^^;). So, on to your question: I'm not completely sure if I'll be of much help to you in regard to colouring your pics cause it'd mean you'd have to adjust the way you're used to draw as well, but I'll give you the information nevertheless. It's up to you if you want to try it then :) When colouring my pics, the first step I make is to retrack the outlines (darker colours over lighter ones) before proceeding to actually colour it (all done with coloured pencils/crayons). Yet in order to do this, it's necessary for the lineart to be done in pencil only and as far as I observed, you use something different, Indian ink, an ink pen or something along those lines I assume. The difficulty with that is that the lines show too much under the crayons, so you'd have to change not only the way you colour, but the "tools" you use as well and I know it's always strange and feels somehow wrong changing your own style in a manner such as this. However, something you definitely ought to try is not exert so much pressure on the crayons, most times it looks much better if you use pressure just slightly cause the colouring gets more even and you don't get gaps in it. Hope that did help you and it's intelligible somehow (I'm not so sure with some of the stuff I wrote, hope it's the correct terms ^^;). KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK :DDD
