Sorry if I sounded too harsh, but at least that is resolved. While FAC does create resized versions and thumbnails of the image, it also keeps a copy of the original image for full-viewing. As a rule of thumb, an image that is twice the size as another tends to take up four times the storage space.
We've seen submissions measuring in the 4,000 (and more) pixel range, which is why we've started to draw a line around the "1500px" area. There aren't very many things that actually require so many pixels.

Well, you are scanning your drawings at 150dpi, which makes it appear roughly twice as large onscreen as it is in real life.
We don't have much sympathy for people who don't know how to do basic things like resizing images or saving in different file formats. Learn.
