The only thing I'm thinking about streaming is Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai. I don't think that'll hit the US anytime soon, unfortunately.

It'll be entertaining, in theory.

I also recommend Mami Kawada, and of course Kotoko.

For some reason, I can't stream anime. I just can't watch it on a computer screen. I'm a collector. I like to physically own the DVDs

I'm almost done with the my next update, hopefully by tomorrow. The word I'm hoping will describe it is 'heroic'.

She can do pretty much anything, yes. I loved 'Sakura Drops'.

What sucks is that there is no anime on TV around here, aside from the super popular stuff. And buying online can be a crapshoot.

The kind I've got now is the kind that watch one or two anime and think they know it all. Bleach and Naruto are great, but that's where their knowledge ends. Without flattering myself, I know a fair bit, especially compared to them.

Ah, that makes sense. I can see it now that you've pointed it out. It should have been clear from the start, but I wasn't really looking for it.

True. AKFG has a pretty distinctive sound as do Mami Kawada and Kotoko. It's too bad Little Non doesn't have more of a presence. She mostly does obscure anime openings, but she's got this pure, powerful voice. I saw a video of her putting on a concert in a random spot on the street in the dead of winter. THat kind of dedication to the craft impresses me.

That's a good move. Not to mention he doesn't seem entirely comfortable with girls, either. I don't know if you meant to have it that way, but that's how it came across at some parts.

True, it really is. Wish I had a group of friends like that. My friends call themselves Otaku, but know almost nothing of what they watch and read. At least in that group, who is an Otaku and who is not is clear (thanks to Konata!)

Btw, you know the opening for Kannazuki no Miko? The person who sings it, Kotoko, is also the one from the Shakugan no Shana opening I linked to you, with the song 'Blaze'. I thought they sounded familiar.
