Wow, that is bad luck on a major level. Or not, since it gives you an excuse to play through those games again! I've been really slacking off when it comes to my gaming lately, lol. I'm still pissed they left us hanging with Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4 part 2.
Anyway, I understand. I'll look forward to seeing what you add when you come back. I've got an interesting surprise up my sleeve- something I've actually never done in my fics before.

By the way, if you need a way for Kimihiro to get Azami free of Hidan, I thought of a scene that I didn't get to use. Basically, Kimihiro blasts Hidan with a genjutsu that makes his circle move. So Hidan would step out of the circle, creating an opening for attack. No pressure to use it; just something I thought up.

Yeah, it does seem that way. I don't even notice it anymore, it's so commonplace.
I wish I had some clue there. Then again, consider my OC's love life, I'm a bad guy to give advice, lol. It would be something like "Well, how about she stabs him...then he falls for her." lol.
So, this opens up intersting possibilities. Kimihiro's reaction to someone else killing Orochimaru; Kabuto being killed (he and Kimi usually have a mutual respect for each other, which I can note once he's dead). Then on Ryofu's end, Kimihiro as 'Akatsuki'; Kimihiro defending Itachi. There's going to be alot of hate, lol.

No one reads on this site. Especially not our chapters, which always run 1000+ words -_-' I have yet to find more than five Naruto fics that actually involve combat.
Oh, cool! I admit; I can't even begin to fathom what a romantic interest for Ryofu might be like! lol.
I've got a chapter or two of throw-away characters planned, but it shouldn't impact Ryofu's side of things at all.

lol, I have. It kind of all hit me at once. Looks like we've got an interesting direction established! Now we just need more readers (That won't have us add in more OC's. lol).

My thought process was something like this:

(Chapter 37, one of my parts)
-Yasha informs Danzou of how much Kimihiro found out about him. Danzou decides to play one side against the other, using his sway with the council to force Tsunade to send Team Kakashi

(Chapter 38; your part)
-Whatever you decide. The only real guidelines are that Yamato and Sai must be included, and Kakashi has to be occupied elsewhere (there's still no contest between him and Kimihiro at this point, and having Kimihiro get slaughtered again would be useless), and that it has to lead in to the actual chase.

(Chapter 39, my part)
Continued chase, brief battle.

(Chapter 40, your part)
Wrap up with a semi-failed mission report to Tsunade.

And that's really it, mostly. There are curveballs I'll throw in so you're working blind to some degree, but that's half the point of the fic, right?
Sound okay, or do you need more to go by? (I'm trying to avoid revealing where I plan to go with it, but I can probaly fill in any other blanks)

All this goes on while we continue with the regular story. I was thinking, at the end of it, we have the first Team Seven and Sasuke meeting, to mark where we are in the Shippuden storyline.

Following that, I had another idea that would allow Kimi and Ryofu to cross paths again. Kimihiro decides to make another bid on Orochimaru's life, based on intelligence that's he's very ill. He makes his move, and Orochimaru fends him off. Enter Sasuke and/or Ryofu. Either one of them administers a final blow to Orochimaru. From there, Kimihiro makes a beeline for Sasuke, and puts on the Akatsuki cloak. Since he hasn't told Ryofu about this, we could have Ryofu assume Kimi's really joined, and is therefore a target of Ryofu. Going even further, we could introduce Sasuke's 'Team Taka' from there, having them brawl with Ryofu while Sasuke and kimi collide.

Quick question- would you want to write some of a 'chase' arc I've got in mind? Without giving away the details on my end (I plan to handle at least the ending of the fight, for Kimi's story purposes), I basically want Team Kakashi to be hunting Kimi to bring him back.
