Although the training would have been brutal. If you've seen Batman Begins. The training is actually like that. It looks cool but can kill you if you don't watch it. Lol

Anyway. I agree with you. I always laughed when these fights would last for half the episode. Lol. I have been in fights with ninja weaponry. They last five min at the most if both sides are any good. Anyway. I have to say. You would prob be my equal with all the training you have had and I am classed as ninja. (all be it I'm not the highest rank there is. I'm four from that. Or about six years training) You sound like a very skilled martial artist and I would love to spar you just for the honor.

I think both of those shows have done harm and good. They have peaked interest in the noble arts, which is a good thing. Although they have done harm by making kids believe that everything they see on tv about ninja and martial arts is true. Yes. It is cool, but if you are one you aren't going to be walking down the street and be attacked by a rival clan. (well maybe in Japan) I also think that our name has been a bit tarnished as well. People when they hear ninja mostly think of the evil villans and their armies of ninja. We aren't all bad. True. Their loyalties are usually to one person. But not always evil. Lol

Please. Forgive my wording in the last post. Black belt In name only was a poor choice of words on my part. Do not get me wrong. They were highly qualified and knew all they should have to the style they were taught. Our style and the style he taught them were different. Ours was more of training warriors theirs was training fighters and self defense. I never said my master was a man that made sense. He taught up unbecome his prized objects. Loyal to a degree that bordered on brain washed. Dangerous and indifferent to anyone but him. That is one of the reasons I left before reaching fully trained. His demands sacred me. Anyway. By chance is the female Ino? I'm packing my brain for females that start with i but sound like another vowel. Lol

He wasn't like that to all the normal students. You must remember. He had a class anyone could join which he had no problem letting people progress. You could reach black in about four years. Then he had his personal students that he trained himself. Our training was different and more intense than the normal classes. They were black belt in name only. Their skills were good yes. But nothing compared to what he taught us. We knew more than them by green belt. It also took up longer to progress because of all the arts to learn. He taught his normal students how to fight and never be beat. He taught up to eight and never be seen. Anyway. I didn't figure that you clue was about Ekyt. I know her rival is a female and I doubted his mode would be female. No offense to the female gender. Anyway. I will continue to puzzle it out. Although my knowledge in this field is limited. Lol. I'm just to stubborn to give up. Lol

Lol. Trust me. I feel your frustation. My master used to do stuff like that. It myt really tick me off. Although he did it because he said disappointment and anger can be good teachers.
