True, speed segments do have a nice feel to them.  I do enjoy the speed, I guess I just need to work on my reaction time when trying to play through those levels.

Haha, really?  Ah well, it happens.  I'm actually in the same boat as you.  Admittedly, I find Tiffany to be a very uncreative name; especially for an Ultimate Life Form.  I don't know why I gave her that name, I guess I just liked it at the time.  I've been thinking about changing it, but I feel bad for changing an already-named character's name.  I guess I could just say Maria named her or something like that so she gets away with the completely un-epic name.  As for Paula-Su, I don't see why you dislike it, I think it's cute :)  And agreed, I love the name "Kurt"; it's perfect for him.

I figured as much, I couldn't really imagine Linda-Su allowing Tiffany to help her unless she was injured, or just too drained to fight.  For some reason I had completely forgotten that Julie-Su and Linda-Su were sisters (facepalm).  Oh, I really need to re-read your stories.  But anyway; what you said makes perfect sense, so we can go with that :)

Tails' levels were okay.  I just wish he had played a bigger role in SA.  I completely agree with you on SA2.  I was really disappointed to find out that Tails was in a mech the whole time.  I just wanted to play as Tails!  Not mecha-suit; Dr. Eggman-clone Tails.  Heck, just having him tail Sonic the whole time would have been better than that.  Oh well, at least you could play as normal Tails in the chao garden.  Also, I would have enjoyed having a couple more mechs available to Dr. Eggman.  I mean, it's Dr. Eggman!  He has a mech for almost everything!  Why limit him to only one?
Really?  You like the mach-speed segments?  Those drive me insane.  Though, I guess with a bit of practice they could be fun.  I don't remember Amy turning invisible...  unless you were running into a wall out of random; in which case, every character turns invisible.  Was that given to her as an ability?  Weird.  It would be awesome if they would make a Sonic game based around the comics, but I doubt it will happen(at least not any time soon).  It would have been much better game if it took place in the Kingdom of Acorn.
I completely agree.  Shadow isn't the type to get close to people, so it drives me insane when I see so many people trying to make him and Sonic best buddies.  Their rivalry is what makes their relationship so great!  It just wouldn't be the same if Shadow was "good".  In my opinion, the best thing about Shadow is that you never know what he's going to do or whose side he's on.  And it's usually a big surprise when he decides to help Sonic and co. at the very last second.  That being said, I actually did kind of appreciate his role in '06 (Though I think it was complete bullshoot that Shadow would join GUN after all they've done).  I feel like they balanced out his and Sonic's relationship pretty nicely.  They weren't really "friends", but they recognized that they'd need each other's help if they wanted to get out of this in one piece.  And I loved that line Shadow used at the end of his story!  "If the world chooses to become my enemy, I will fight as I always have"  I feel like that one line summed up exactly who he is, and I love it!

I like that idea; especially the legend thing.  It would not only give a reason as to why Ekyt would turn into an echidna, but also how Kurt is infused with chaos energy later on!  Great idea!  I'm totally up for the added drama.  If you couldn't tell from Tiffany's bio; I am a sucker for drama.  In my opinion, drama helps character development, so it will be a nice addition for this scene, since Linda-Su, Knuckles, and Tiffany will have to deal with the guilt of putting Ekyt through that, and Ekyt will have to decide whether or not he'll forgive them for it.

Good thinking, NG.  That will work out perfectly.  I'm not sure how Tiffany would know to take Linda-Su to the freedom fighters though.  This is her first time being on Mobius(and not in GUN custody) so she won't really know anything as far as who the freedom fighters are, who Dr. Robotnik is, etc.  Someone would have to point her in the right direction(Maybe Linda-Su herself if she's already friends with the freedom fighter, but that's your call), or she could bump into Sonic or another freedom fighter.
And thanks, I'm glad you like my idea.  It just seemed natural that Robotnik would have stolen the emerald. Plus; having them team up to get it back would be a fun way to show off their abilities :)

If there is one thing i really appreciated about Adventure, it was definitely the Echidna history stuff.  I'm obsessed with time travel, so going back in time and witnessing the events that took place with Tikal was fascinating to me.  Sonic's levels weren't bad, but, like I said; SA2 ruined it for me.  I guess I was spoiled.
The glitches usually make me laugh out loud, to be honest.  I'm usually so entertained by them that I forget to be angry.  I still can't get over how funny it is to watch Sonic just go for a nice stroll around an automatic loop.  It kills me every time!  Yeah, I don't really get why people freaked out over them kissing.  I mean, I hate Elise, but I don't hate her because she kissed Sonic.  I hate her because she does absolutely NOTHING!  And then decides she'd rather let the world burn forever than say good-bye to Sonic.  Ugh... I hate her... moving on!  Silver needed work.  I loved the telekinesis thing, but I really wish he could still perform a homing attack.  Sometimes telekinesis just wasn't fast enough.  Also, he's a complete idiot.  He barely says "hello" to Mephiles and automatically believes what he's told without questioning it.  Geez, I thought at least Blaze would have thought something was off, but apparently not, she's just cool with doing whatever the heck Silver's trying to do.  ... By the way; her presence confuses me.
I know!  The opening to Shadow the Hedgehog was awesome!  Some parts made me face-palm, but oh my gosh, the cg was awesome!  Yeah, I'm abusive to my main characters too, so I cheered a little when I saw Sonic collapse. Then I just smirked because Shadow is a badass and Sega pretty much just admitted that he's stronger than Sonic... I was very happy with this... admittedly.

Ooh, that'd be interesting.  It could be that the Master Emerald recognizes him as a guardian, and in turn gives him the proper form that a guardian should have.  Sorry if that sounds silly, I just think that would be pretty neat, because it'd be the greatest form of acceptance Ekyt could get as a guardian.  When did you want it to happen?  Early in the story, or later on?

Oh, I forgot to mention in my last post.  Do we want to change the beginning of the story, since Linda-Su won't be there?  I think it will work fine if we just alter it slightly.  Tiffany would most likely notice the battle and investigate,  Upon seeing Ekyt and Knuckles in danger, she would help them escape.  The only "problem"(if you want to call it that) is that we'd have to come up with another way for them to encounter the freedom fighters.  Though this could lead to an interesting scenario where Tiffany helps them retrieve the Master Emerald, since Robotnik would most likely have taken it upon their absence,

Heroes is right before Sonic Adventure 2 for me.  I enjoyed Adventure, but I made the mistake of playing SA2 first, so after Shadow was introduced, every game felt like a disappointment to me if he wasn't in it.  I'm sure I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I had played it first.  Thankfully, SA2 never ruined the classic sonic games for me :)  1, 2, and 3 are still just as enjoyable as they've always been.
Okay, I'm sold, on my next paycheck I'll get Generations.  I just bought Sonic '06 this week (I've played it before, and I know it's awful) for both collection purposes and just to make fun of it.  For some reason, this game is still kind of... fun... I don't know why...  It's almost in the category "So bad it's good" for me.
I know where you're coming from.  Shadow the Hedgehog made me use a long list of vocabulary words that I promised myself I would never use.  Now I just don't care.

Usually that's not an issue, as long as you make it clear on the description that you're not sticking to the canonical story.  Also, Author's notes tend to help ease the tension.  When I posted stories on there, I always mentioned the contents in my story on the description followed by a "don't like? Don't read." and "No flames please"  Worked like a charm for me.  Never received a negative comment on that site.

Good idea!  That comes in handy for story purposes.  Okay, so from Tiffany's side, after she gets away from the swatbots, she would probably find herself by the roboticizing chamber, where she would witness someone being roboticized.  Now realizing the danger of the machine, she starts looking to see if there are any other victims and finds Linda-Su.  She breaks her chains and they begin looking for a way out; but soon find themselves cornered by a large group of swatbots.  They manage to hold strong against them, but without chaos energy, they're trapped.  Once Ekyt overloads the machine, Shadow goes to Tiffany's aid and they wipe out the remaining swatbots.  Tiffany questions what was interfering with the emerald's power.  Shadow offers a very brief explanation, mentioning how Ekyt managed to shut the machine down.  Realizing that Ekyt was there, she demands that they go back for him. which Shadow very reluctantly agrees to.  Sound good?

Yeah, Sonic Heroes is one of my favorite Sonic games.  I don't know why there's so much hate on it, it's a good, unique game.  My main complaint was that the game virtually no story until you got to Team Dark, where they just tease you the whole time!  I just remember getting so mad when they implied that the Shadow they had with them was just a clone of the original, but refused to tell you if this was true or not.
Truthfully I haven't played Generations yet, I've just seen the god-awful cutscenes.  I keep hearing it's a fantastic game though, so I definitely want to play it!
Ugh, don't get me started on Vector.  I wanted to shoot him in the head half the time he was following me.  I swear, if I hear him say "Find the Computer Room!"  one more time, I'm going to lose it!  For some reason, I can't see Shadow tolerating half of these characters, even if he's rooting for the good side.  They're just so annoying!

You should post your stuff on Fanfiction.net.  That's the place to post if you want views and comments, DA and FAC are more for art than fanfiction.  I haven't been posting my stories at all, mainly because everything I write is just for my own entertainment, and I don't think anyone would really care to read them.
Yeah, I've been talking to A1 too.  He didn't mention wanting to rp again, but I'm not all that surprised.  He keeps telling me how bored he is, so writing would be the perfect thing to fill his time.

Is it possible to block off the chaos emeralds' power?  I think Robotnik would be using that to his advantage way more often if he had that type of power. It's a cool idea though... heck it'd make an interesting plot device if we decide to stick with it.   Using chaos powers without an emerald... I think I know what you're talking about.  I remember reading one of the comics where Knuckles explained something about how Guardians had the ability to use chaos energy without an emerald, and for some reason, Shadow has this ability too (I don't know if they gave a reason why aside from him being "The Ultimate Lifeform")  So yeah, it would make perfect sense that Ekyt could use chaos energy without an emerald.
I think using a probationary mission works fine for why she's there,  But Shadow and Ekyt know Tiffany would be fine on her own, so why would they be looking for her?   Maybe when she got there, Robotnik set up a barrier, blocking the chaos emerald's power from bring used, and effectively trapping her inside his base, so now,Tiffany has to face a hoard of robots using hand-to-hand combat only.  If she was having too much trouble escaping, she would contact Shadow and ask for back-up, but she would definitely warn him that for some reason, the chaos emerald was powerless.
So you want Tiffany to meet Linda-Su first?  That'd be an interesting change.  She could be trapped in Robotnik's lair as well, and while trying to find a means of escape, Tiffany finds her and they work together to find a way out

Sonic Heroes wasn't that bad.  I actually liked it a lot.  I do agree that Tails' voice sounded silly, but everyone else was voiced decently well.  The writing was terrible though.  They had some of the worst lines in any Sonic game. But If you want to hear bad voice acting though, play Sonic Generations... ugh... it's so bad...  Anyway, I thought the art style was gorgeous in heroes, but I will admit the characters looked like they were made of plastic.  I understand where you're coming from though, since SA2 was the last 3D Sonic game released, it seemed like they were going to keep that style up, just with upgraded graphics, but truthfully. I think Sonic Heroes style works quite well.  It reminded me of the original Sonic games for some reason.
That's true, minus some annoying obstacles, Shadow had a lot of room to run.  And yeah, you would think they would have adapted some sort of lock-on system since you're using a gun... or anything for that matter.  I can't tell you how many times I've attacked the wrong side while trying to use a homing attack.  It also drove me insane that, even though you were on the dark missions, the Black Arms still attacked you... fantastic.  It's be nice if Black Doom would tell them that I'm on their side.  sheesh.  Okay, I'm done ranting.

Sure, I can go first, Though just a warning, it's been around 5 years since anyone has read anything I've written, so bear with me if my writing comes off as s bit cheesy, I don't get any feedback on my work anymore.  Alright, with that said, I'm going to finish up Tiffany's Bio, then I'll start on my first chapter.

Yeah, Sonic and Shadow seem to have a friendly rivalry going on now.  Shadow and Ekyt having to work together? Ooh, I like that idea... what could we do with that?  ... Mainly, what type of situation would they be stuck in that they can't get out of on their own?  I'm going to give this some thought, These two are really strong characters, so it's going to be tough finding something that they need each other's help for... Unless... maybe someone they both care about (I guess this would have to be Tiffany unless we decide to find another person that Shadow and Ekyt both seem to tolerate) is in danger and they have to work together to save them?  Eh, just a thought.  Do you have any ideas?

Knuckles is pretty easy to control in the games.  Handling a speed character can be a pretty daunting task, especially in the newer games.  Sonic Heroes really stands out to me where I used Knuckles the most, mainly because Sonic was ridiculously difficult to control, and Tails was stupidly slow and his attack sucked.  I swear, that game could have only been made with power-based characters and it would have been perfectly fine.  
You like Shadow the Hedgehog!?  I thought I was alone in that!  Yeah, the game had a lot of flaws, but I still thought it was fun and challenging.  Plus the idea of it wasn't that bad.  I liked the idea that your decisions mattered... what I didn't like was that you had to beat 10 bosses just to get to the final boss... where you realize that every decision you made in the game did not matter one bit.  That ticked me off quite a bit.  I feel like it would have been better if they just made it one solid story.  I actually didn't mind that Shadow was using a gun.  I mean, they obviously live in a world where guns exist, so why not.

It doesn't really matter to me.  I was just going to post Tiffany's bio separately as a round-about backstory/explanation for her, then post the main chapter under the actually story.  But if you want to do two chapters for Ekyt, go right on ahead :)  I would post two chapters for Tiffany, but considering she's spending the first 2/3 of the chapter in GUN custody, it wouldn't really be that interesting to read if I stretched it out too much.

Alright then :)  I agree, it will be nice to have Shadow as an ally more often.  Tiffany and Linda-Su are going to have their hands full trying to keep Shadow and Ekyt from tearing each other apart though XD

Yeah, I never really cared much for Knuckles, I mean, I liked him, he just wasn't my favorite character.  One thing I did appreciate though was how much backstory they were willing to give him.  Shadow's still my favorite character, I'm always more attached to the characters you kind of feel bad for.  Before Shadow was around though, oddly enough, Tails was my favorite.  I admired how smart he was at such a young age, and to top it off, he could fly!  He's still my second favorite character in the series :)

Okay, that sounds like a good idea.  Hmm... I don't know where to start with my chapter.  I might have to write the beginning Tiffany's story out as a biography since it takes place over a set period of time.  It'll be easier to understand that way.  Then I can explain where she was when GUN found her, what they planned on doing with her, and how she managed to escape.  It probably won't be too long of a chapter, but I'll try to add as many details about her past as I can.

Ah okay.  Sorry if I made it seem like Shadow was really racist towards humans, he doesn't have to be that way.  It just seems to me like he still has a hard time trusting humans; but the more reasonable approach would probably be to make him more forgiving, since that was what Maria wanted.  That and it would open up more opportunities for him to side with them without too much conflict.  I like your idea better, it works better for the context of the story.

I see.  That would make sense.  I'll let you handle the echidnas' stories more, because honestly, I'm not too familiar with their back stories.  I'm starting to read through the comics again, so hopefully I can get caught up pretty quickly.  When I was younger, I had a bad habit of skipping past the echidna stuff because it was too wordy, so I really need to re-read it,  I'm more familiar with the games than the comics.
