Nature damage is cruel, but Kiba himself used a technic to draw Chakra from nature thus killing it slowly as it's life force is drained as needed for chakra. You can say it simply enrages him. As you most likely saw he is very collecte, cool and cold in his tactics to get to the truth. As for Your abilities. Well, I am several hundred years old an having trained in all the villages at some point or another. I balance that out by a majority of the higher mind technics causing pain to him. He may be strong in mind, but he is still mortal and susseptible to injury. You can be strong minded and able to match my skills or be weaker to a degree. I won't make myself better than anyone else.
