Altodd: *accidentally drops his sword* Oh no...!! D8

Mikenno: ... *steps off of Revan and immediately takes off, going straight back into the stronghold*

Key: D: *puts her pistols away, grabs Todd by the wrist, and runs, really not wanting to get electrocuted again*

Claire: *is right behind them* Let's go, Harry! D:

Shidako: *just keeps running until she gets into the Origini stronghold*

Todd: *runs with Key* D:

Harry: *runs with Claire and the others until they enter the stronghold*

Revan: *returns to his own stronghold - his new home*

meanwhile in the Origini stronghold

Vaporizers: *because Shidako blocked their view of Altodd, they target nothing*

Altodd: Ah....! AHH...! D8>

Shidako: *looks around to make sure nobody's watching, and tries to discreetly get to her room*

Ignis: *hears Altodd, and looks over. her eyes widen, and she speaks quietly* Shidako... Why'd you bring one of them in here?

Todd: Well, for now, but this is a JEDI we're talking about! Those guys are, like, mini-GODS! D8>

Harry: He's a SITH.

Todd: A what? Huh? :/

Todd: *looks around* Hey yeah... Where's Altodd? <:/

A Guy: *he wore a cloak made out of human skin, tied together with human hair and stitches. He ha just then noticed Altodd* Hey! He's not supposed to be in here - someone kill him! D8<

Ignis: *glances at the man then quickly looks away, rather disgusted by his appearance* I agree. we can't let him stay here. *pulls out her knfe and flips it open*

Shidako: *snarls, stepping between them and Altodd* You. Won't. Touch. Him.

Todd: He - he was fighting Shidako last time we - Oh god, did she kill him?? D8>

Harry: ... Do you think she'd do that to him...?

Cult Leader: *glares at Shidako, but backs up*

Altodd: *to Shidako, nervously* Uh, dragon-thing? Uh... since you don't seem to, er, want to kill me, can I go back to... MY stronghold?

Key: she likes him too much to kill him...

Claire: ...would she kidnap him?

Key: !! but when someone goes into the wrong stronghold, they get vaporized!! D8

Altodd: *is very uncomfortable and freaked out* I need to... to get BACK...

Claire: ...maybe he was one of the targets...?

Altodd: *rolls out of the way of Shidako again* Godamnit - go after the person you're SUPPOSED to be killing, not ME! D8>

Revan: *throws one of his lightsabers at them*

Shidako: But they TOLD me to go play with YOU! D8>

Key: AAH!! *dodges the lightsaber* THIS IS NOT COOL!! D8

Zylif: *swings the weapon around to strike Harry with the blunt end of the weapon on the side of the head*

Harry: *is smacked upside the head, and rendered dazed*

Todd: *has also dodged the lightsaber, and was rather confused when a small white "0" appeared near both him and Key* ... he's from a Star Wars GAME...

Revan: *uses Force Paralyze on Todd*

Todd: *can't move* !!

Revan: *uses force lightning on Key*

Altodd: They WHAT?? D8>

Key: !! *doesn't move nearly fast enough, and is electrocuted* AAAAAAUUGH!!

Shidako: They told me to go play with the guy with the glowy swords too, but I like you better! D:>

Zylif: *pulls the weapon back, then thrusts it forward, aiming for Harry's chest*

Mikenno: *drops down from the sky at just the right moment, front paw coming down on the weapon and snaping the hilt in two* D:<

Zylif: !! *reflexively drops the broken weapon and backs away, hissing angrily*

Revan: *he then force pushes Todd away while he was paralyzed, and brandishes his lightsaber at Key, ready to strike while she suffered from the effects of the electricity*

Todd: *is pushed back while paralyzed*

Harry: *looks over at Mikenno with a rare gratefulness in his eyes*

Altodd: Why are you trying to kill me if you like me so much?? D8

Key: ...!! *tries to move away, but can't--the pain from the electricity was so much that she was somewhat paralyzed, and her movements were extremely sluggish. she wouldn't be able to get away in time*

Shidako: *whimpering* I don't want to kill you... I just wanna play...! Why won't you play anymore? D:>

Mikenno: *nods, acknowledging him* Let's take care of him, shall we?

Zylif: *snorts* So I am your target? Do not think I will be defeated so easily.

Todd: *recovers quick enough to pounce on Revan - to stop him, BARELY from hurting Key, no longer paralyzed*

Revan: !!! WHAT IS THIS??

Altodd: Because I-I I'm not - I-I-I mean - you shouldn't... u-uh...

Harry: *suddenly punches at Zylif* RAWRGH!

Key: !! *sees an opening, and raises a pistol and shoots at Revan*

Shidako: *looks almost heartbroken* shouldn't WHAT? D:>

Zylif: ! *quicky moves aside and deflects Harry's punch, lashing out and clawing at Harry's face* >:(

Mikenno: ! *clamps his jaws down on Zylif's tail*

Zylif: !!??

Revan: *manages to stop the bullet and throw it aside, only to be clawed on his stomach* !!! *he force pushes Todd off*

Todd: *is thrown off, landing on his back* URF!

Altodd: Wh-what I mean is, I-I... I'm not that... GUY... who I was before - I'm not him.

Harry: *slashes at Zyliff while he's distracted*

Key: *uses the distraction to get back up on her feet and shoot at Revan again* D:<

Shidako: But... but... you ARE! ;o;

Zylif: *is clawed in the arm. he hisses furiosly, baring every single one of his teeth at Harry, and simultaneously whipping his tail off to the side*

Mikenno: !! *has the tail wrenched out of his mouth, and snarls in both annoyance and pain*

Revan: *cries out in pain when the bullet lodges into his unarmored leg, hidden in his black cloak. He gets back up, studying the two enemies in front (and a little far back) from him. One had a blaster that fired solid objects, strange for a blaster, but it must have been some sort of modified one. The other was another human, it seemed, that used clawed gauntlets as weapons. He decides to wait for THEM to attack, hoping the one that used his claws would go first, as he seemed to be the easiest to counter*

Todd: *gets back up and runs back over to Key*

Altodd: I-I may LOOK like him, but I'm not actually HIM anymore - he's long gone. D:

Harry: *snarls at Zylif*

Me: I am wondering where Claire is in all of this... XD

Key: *pulls out the second pistol, still a bit wobbly* Todd, I just shot a jedi. I feel like kind of awesome. Now we need to not die. D:

Shidako: ...but WHY?

Zylif: *suddenly lashes out at him, fangs bared*

Mikenno: !! *leaps on the Naga's tail and pins it to the floor*

Zylif: *is stopped short, hissing furiously* D8<!!

Todd: Hooray! D:

Revan: *enraged, and seeing as they weren't going to attack first, he practically screams at Todd* YOU!! I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY!!

Todd: You're not...?

Revan: *points to Key* SHE IS!!

Todd: ... yeah. She is. *readies his claws at Key*

Altodd: ... because he's dead...

Harry: *uses the opportunity to bite out Zylif's throat*

Key: D:... *slowly backs away from Todd* of course he'd use the mind trick, of COURSE he would. D8

Claire: *has just broken out of an Origini horde, and sees Todd about to attack Key--then the jedi off to the side. rolling her eyes (good grief, what ELSE are the creators gonna bring in here?) sh takes aim and fires a bolt into the jedi's back*

Shidako: *whimpering* B-But you're right here...! ;o;

Zylif: !!! *bleeds out from the wound, and collapses to the ground, dead*

Mikenno: ... *steps off the Naga's tail* ...That's it.

Revan: *is hit in the back* Ghnk! *turns around. To face Claire, huffing angrily at her* D8< ...

Todd: *slashes at Key* D8<

Altodd: No - we've been THROUGH this, and I'm telling you, that Altodd is GONE...

*the teleporters activate with a glow*

Harry: *notices this - they could go back*

Claire: D: .....not good. *quickly reloads her crossbow*

Key: *steps back and avoids the swipe* Todd, snap out of it! D:>

Mikenno: *notices them* !! I think they need some help--come on! *takes off, towards the others*

Shidako: but... but...

Harry: D: * nods and runs with Mikenno over to where Revan, Todd, Key, and Claire were*

Revan: *force pushes Claire* >:(

Harry: *barrels into Revan*

Revan: !!! *is sent skidding to a stop across the ground*

Todd: *tries swiping at her again* Rrgh! D8<

Altodd: *with more power in his voice* He's trapped in my head forever - DEAD! D:<

Claire: !!! *is flung backwards and skids across the ground, but quickly gets back up*

Mikenno: *lands right in front of Revan, and pins him down, holding his arms down against the ground so he can't use his lightsabers* D:<

Key: *continues to dodge Todd* come ON! D:>

Shidako: YOU'RE RIGHT HERE! D8< *lunges forward and snatches Altodd up in her jaws, making sure to only bite on to the metal armor, then whirls around and carries him off, back to the Origini side*

Harry: !! *rushes over to Claire, turning human* Are you okay?? D8>

Todd: *stops his attack* Whuh...? *shakes his head, blinking, then looks back at Key* Aah!! D8 I tried to kill you just now, didn't I?? D8>

Revan: !! *struggles*

Altodd: *struggles* AAHH!! AAHHHLEMMEGO!! DDD8

Key: I'm fine, it was a mind trick thing...! Not your fault. D:

Claire: yeah, yeah, I'm fine...

Mikenno: *snarls at the Sith*

Shidako: *doesn't answer him, only continues to run*

Zylif: *holds the weapon out sideways and blocks Harry's charge with the handle, being pushed back slightly. he shoves Harry back, using his coils to provide more power* >:(

Todd: *steps in front of Altodd protectively*

Revan: *walks over casually to Todd, Key, and Altodd*

Todd: frackING HELL, THE JEDI'S COMING OVER HERE!! D8

Shidako: D8< *lunges at Todd, claws first*

Zylif: *swings his weapon, slashing at Harry with significant force*

Altodd: Well, she wants ME, Todd - I'll deal with her, you back up Key! D8

Revan: *still walking towards them, he takes out his two lightsabers, twirling them in his hands a few times*

Key: I really don't wanna be killed by a freaking jedi, you guys...!! D8>

Shidako: *snarls at Todd and Altodd, crouching to pounce again*

Todd: Well, at least. XP Come on, let's go to bed. Big fight tomorrow, like every day. We can't lose sleep for that.

Altodd: ...

Jacob: Will you be okay, Altodd?

Altodd: ... I don't know...

Todd: You must feel a lot more vulnerable now... the other Altodd DID take you over in your sleep...

Altodd: ... but it's not like he'll be around to try that again... I just feel uncomfortable...

Key: ...I think you should go get some rest, Altodd... you've been through a LOT today... <:/

Altodd: ... *he's too tired to argue, which meant that Key had already won before it began. Altodd sighed* ... okay... *he stumbles out of the room, traveling to his own room*

Todd: ... and now, we go. *he takes Key by the hand and pulls her over to their room*

Jacob: ... *he himself leaves for his room*

Key: ...I'd say today was a really long and crazy day, but that wouldn't quite cut it, would it?

Todd: Nope. It really, really wouldn't. *enters the room with Key* And now it's finally over. It's like, past midnight, but it's finally over. *he climbs into bed*

Altodd: *falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow, "exhausted" being too light a word to use to describe how he feels at the moment*

Key: mhmm... *climbs into bed with him, and immediately snuggles right up to him* By the way, don't ever scare me like that again. I don't think I'd be able to watch you die anymore.

Todd: ... He... he left me alive, Key... he just made me lose all motivation to live... well, and he DID make me feel half-dead, but... but I got better, right? <:D

Altodd: *it doesn't take long for him to start dreaming again - Key was VERY angry this time. It eventually led to her punching him in the face. On the ground. Over, and over... but he had angered her on purpose. He deserved it*

Key: you did, but... it was too close for comfort. You LOOKED dead...

Todd: ... Well, I'm not dead. Come on, let's sleep. *he puts an arm over her, relaxing on the bed*

Altodd: *and then... they were kissing. Somehow, it always ended in kissing*

Key: mmkay... *cuddles up to him, burying her face in his neck* ...

Todd: *quickly falls asleep*

Altodd: *Todd found out - HE FOUND OUT - he wanted to say sorry - sorry for what? No, no, then control was lost. He started punching Altodd, punching him with pure, unspeakable RAGE... and then something happened. He... screamed at Altodd - screamed like and ANIMAL, and there was much panic, it filled the air - a call for help, from Key - she called for help... and then... Todd bit down hard on Altodd's neck, piercing his jugular - he could still FEEL the pain - it hurt, it hurt - and not the good kind of hurt - a GOOD KIND? No, no, he bled, he bled, and soon, everything went black*

Key: *falls asleep as well*

The next morning

Todd: *still asleep*

Altodd: *wakes up gasping for breath, a hand clasped tightly over his throat, still feeling Todd's teeth ripping into his skin - he had almost cried out, but he couldn't even do THAT - the shock was too great. And then he felt them. The stitches on his neck, where he was bitten. They were... still there...* ...

Key: *wakes up first. she stays in her spot, putting an arm over Todd* ...

Todd: *soon wakes up* ...G'morning... let's get ready...

Altodd: *he shakes himself off, getting out of bed,getting dressed and such. He holds his helmet in his hands, looking at it for a while before putting it on his head. Todd doesn't hate him anymore. Todd doesn't hate him anymore. Todd doesn't hate him anymore. But that image... that image was still frightening*

Key: Mmkay... *gets out of bed, and gets ready*

Todd: *Also gets ready and walks out with Key* Allllrighty...

Altodd: *walks out, more quite than usual*

Key: *looks at Altodd* ...How're you doing? <:(

Altodd: *very quietly* ... he bit... he bit my throat out...

Todd: *has heard this* N-no, I mean yeah, but - Altodd, that was... that was a different kind of person - you KNOW it was!

Altodd: ... when were you so violent...?

Key: ...It's... a really long story, Altodd... at this rate, you'll be remembering all of it soon...

Altodd: My other personality... he just... we were falling... we were still merged, and we were falling... and... and I was dying... from when we were shot in the face... we talked for a bit... and then I told him that - that I had been his "happy ending"... that he had been living a happier life through ME... and then he just kinda... summoned up an Umbra and made it take me back - but... but he's gone. He didn't go back, himself.

Todd: ... we're not talking about that thing with the rotting face... are we?

Jacob: ... He is.

Key: *can't believe it. that monster couldn't possibly have even a shred of goodness in him, could he? ...yes he could. because he was Todd. she shakes her head* ...i never thought he'd do something like that.

Mikenno: heh... people can surprise you.

Jacob: No one is pure evil, or pure good. Even Ryu, Mikenno, has some good in her. And she's the queen of Hell.

Todd: ... Does this mean that Altodd will stop hearing voices and stuff?

Jacob: No.

Altodd: Why not? D:>

Jacob: Because I figured out that you're psychotic. As are you, Todd.

Mikenno: Having Psychosis doesn't automatically make you crazy, Key. But now that Jacob's pointed it out... yeah, I can see it.

Mikenno: *looks at her and frowns* ...Knowing the creators, they probably still have something in store for you... they wouldn't have allowed Altodd to return if they didn't.

Todd: *bitterly* ... maybe they just like him so much that they want to kill him over and over and over again...

Key: *in a tiny voice* Just like Harry...

The Shadow: *steps forward a bit* ... I just wanted the pain to stop... I knew... it would keep going... after he kissed you, I knew...

The Shadow: ... I merged with him, Key... if you destroy me, what do you think will happen to HIM...?

Umbra: *fade away. The Shadow had given up*

Mikenno: *watches*

Key: *casts a glance over at Todd, but looks right back at the Shadow* ...I'm pretty sure he'd rather have it end this way than have to keep suffering under someone like you.

The Shadow: ... then kill him. Kill us both.

Todd: ...

A. Jacob: ...

Mikenno: ...

Key: ... *looks away* ... *pulls the trigger*

The Shadow: *the bullet hits his face, making some of it... shatter off. More specifically, the upper left half of it, revealing Altodd's blue, pained eye, and blood dripping down his face - not smoke. The shot was forceful enough to make The Shadow stumble back again. He lost his footing and fell down, down, into the hole of a missing memory. Altodd and The Shadow were gone*

A. Jacob: ... It's over.

Todd: ...

Key: ... *lowers her arm, and drops the pistol (it's not real anyway)* ...

Mikenno: ...We should go, just in case his mind collapses.

Todd: *walks over to Mikenno*

A. Jacob: *does the same and touches Mikenno on the arm*

*the place now feels... hauntingly empty. There is a stillness that could, indeed, be called "unsettling"*

Key: ... *walks over to the rest of them, and takes Todd's hand*

Mikenno: ... *closes his eyes, and pulls them all out*

Mikenno: *opens his eyes, and takes his hands off Altodd's arm* ...

Altodd: *his eyes were normal again, but they stared into space. He didn't move at all. He didn't even blink*

Jacob: D: *he checks for a pulse* ... ... he's very much alive. He just... he's suffering from a fate far worse than death, it seems...

Key: *looks at Altodd, and stares for a moment before looking away* ...he...

Mikenno: *looks back at Key, concerned* ...

Jacob: <:/ *he looks away from Altodd, finding his blank staring disturbing*

Key: ... *takes a deep breath* he didn't deserve that...

I'm not mad at you for kissing Key... I-I know it was an accident... *he squeezes his eyes tightly shut for a few second, trying to hold back tears - tears for ALTODD of all people... but yes. Jacob: ... maybe we should just kill him. End his suffering.

Key: *looks at Jacob, surprised, not because of what he suggested, but because she had been considering the exact same thing just then* ...

Altodd: *blinks, then looks around* Wha...?

Mikenno: !? *his return was so sudden, he didn't even see it coming*

Altodd: ... huh... *he sits up, rubbing his head. He looked bewildered - Altodd had experienced something in his mind that he didn't think was possible... and now he was back*

Todd: Altodd! :D You - we thought you were GONE!

Key: ...wait, what? What happened, how did you even get back??

Mikenno: ...Let him talk. *really wants to hear this--he's figured out what's happened, but he wants to know why*

The Shadow: *he then grabs hold of her - he pulls her into a HUG* You know what? I still love you. And I HATE that... which is why you need to die, Key.

Me: hmm...

Key: *is completely frozen in fear, terrified at the idea of being at his mercy once again*

Mikenno: *sees this* --!! We have to-- *burns some more Umbra, snarling in annoyance* Come ON!!

Umbra: *crawl up onto Mikenno, all over him so suddenly, like spiders - like two did to Harry*

A. Jacob: D8 !! *summons his sword and cuts at a few on Mikenno - he didn't want to try blasting them of, since he risked hitting the dragon*

The Shadow: *suddenly his smirk fades, and his eyes widened. He looked... sick. *he lets go of Key - almost SHOVING her away, and holds his head with both hands, moaning in pain. Then he quickly turned to the side and vomited up a stream - a WATERFALL of black smoke. He was shaking, and turns his head, snarling at Key* What the hell did you DO to me...?? *he coughs up more black smoke* Oh... oh god... it... it hurts... *he moans again, still shaking, still holding his head*

Todd: *...*

Mikenno: *roars angrily, thrashing about, trying to shake them off, desperate to keep them away from his face* D8<!!

Key: !?! *stumbles back, nearly losing her balance, extremely confused--what DID she do?* D8 ...

A. Jacob: *keeps slicing them off whenever he can* D8

Umbra: *suddenly stop, looking around, as if they had been startled - they disappear*

The Shadow: Uhh... Uhhuhhgh... *he vomits black smoke again - that time sounded like it really hurt... then he looks back up. He had a... different look on his face. He was scared, scared and confused, but he found comfort in knowing that Key was there with him - yes. Yes, Key could help him. She could help him by stopping him. He speaks. His voice was no longer harsh and bitter... but gentle - gentle and innocent* ... Key... Key, I... I can't hold him back like this for very long - he's already fighting back...

A. Jacob: ... is that Altodd...? D:

Mikenno: it must be...

Key: O-Oh my god, how did you--what do I do, how do i--? D8>

The Shadow: Don't - don't shoot him, don't shoot him - NRRRAAARRYAAHHGH - !! BEAT HIM! BEAT HIM - don't use your guns until he can't fight anymore, THEN - HHHNNGH-K-HKK! - THEN YOU SHOOT HIM!! YOU SHOOT HIM IN THE FACE!! AAAAUUHGH!!

Key: nnh--o-okay!! *puts her remaining pistol back in its holster, then takes a deep breath. this was for Todd--for Altodd. she quickly runs at him, and elbows him in che chest with as much force as she can muster, following it up with a sharp uppercut to the chin*

Me: deja-vu, coming up.

Jacob: ...

Todd; *is getting up* ...

Jacob: <_< !

The Shadow: *he stumbles back* G... good, Key... just keep that up... just... just keep doing that...

Mikenno: *glances at Todd, then back at the fight* ...

Key: *sees Todd getting up out of the corner of her eye, and nods. she drives her knee into his gut, then hits him in the side of the head, trying to knock him down*

Todd: What... she - she's fighting him ALONE?? D8>

A. Jacob: It's Altodd.

Todd: Well, YEAH, but like he was BEFORE...

A. Jacob: ... no... like he is NOW...

The Shadow: Urf! *stumbles again, but not exactly down* Key... Key, he's coming back...!!

Mikenno: ...she has to do this herself. He hurt her the most.

Key: >:( *kicks him in the chest--hard*

The Shadow: *is knocked down, onto the ground, but that doesn't stop him from getting back up and hissing angrily at Key - that kind, innocent look in his eyes had disappeared, and was replaced with The Shadow's anger and insanity. His smug grin was gone. He was furious* WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME??

Todd: Oh god! D8>

Umbra: *reappear*

A. Jacob: ...

Key: !! nrhh... I didn't do anything. But... I'm not gonna let this go on any longer. >:(

Mikenno: *growls at the Umbra, ready to torch them if they attacked* rrr...

The Shadow: ... ... peh-hahaha! HAHAHAHA!! HOW, Key? You can't touch me! >:D *he doesn't remember anything that happened while Altodd took the wheel - he doesn't realize that Key knows how to defeat him*

Todd: D8 !! *steps closer to Mikenno and Jacob*

A. Jacob: *keeps his sword ready* ...

Umbra: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Mikenno: *roars at them* D8<

Key: That's what you think... >:( *suddenly lashes out at him, punching him hard in the face*

Umbra: *LUNGE*

Todd: *Slices at them as best as he can*

A. Jacob: *same*

The Shadow: *punched* !!! *he stumbles back as Altodd had* Wha...?

Mikenno: *torches as many of them as he can*

Key: *allows herself a tiny smirk of satisfaction--she had the upper hand this time. she uppercuts him again, driving the heel of her hand into his chin, with more ferocity than before* D:<

A. Jacob and Todd: *fends the Umbra off*

Umbra: *keep attacking*

The Shadow: *when Key punches him, a rip is heard - the dry skin that connected his chin to his neck ripped open. Like blood, black smoke spilled out, and The Shadow backed away more, nearly falling into a hole in the ground - a missing memory. He desperately covers the hole in his neck with his clawed hand* Oh... oh god...

Mikenno: *kills Umbra*

Key: !! *pulls out her pistol, aiming it for his head* ...

Mikenno: I'm on it--hurry! *takes a deep breath, and releases a stream of fire, mowing down the Umbra*

Key: *is almost in full-blown panic-mode* let's GO!! D8>

Me: note: she's only trying to provide Todd enough of a distraction for him to free himself. she knows he wants her.

Me: Understood. ^^

A. Jacob: *takes Key and flies over the fire and burning Umbra, and to The Shadow. Jacob lands with Key* >:(

The Shadow: *still choking Todd* Brave now, are you?

Todd: *when he sees Key through his misted, watering eyes, he finds a new strength in him, and he suddenly starts struggling again, managing to get the tiniest gasps of air, as The Shadow has loosened his grip slightly*

Key: *musters up as much courage as she can. this was for Todd* I-I'm the one you want, and here I am. Just... l-let him go.

Mikenno: *continues torching Umbra, but keeps an eye on what's happening on the other side, in case they need him* ...

The Shadow: Hmm... okay then, Key. *to Todd* But just so YOU aren't a problem. *black electricity travels up The Shadow's arm, and over to Todd*

Todd: AAAAAAAHHHHH!!

The Shadow: *has quickly sucked away all of Todd's happiness, and most of his life energy*

Todd: *goes limp*

The Shadow: *flings him aside like a rag doll*

Todd: *lands painfully, but doesn't even try to get up. There wasn't a point anymore. He just wanted to die now. He stared into space on the ground, his thoughts sluggish*

A. Jacob: D8 ... OH shoot!!

The Shadow: Now then... *to Key* come, my little distraction. Let's see what you can do.

Key: TODD! D8> *looks back at the Shadow, her eyes narrowing. yeah, she was scared--but she wasn't intending to let him get away with that* And you wonder why I tried to leave. *pulls her pistols out for the first time since entering Altodd's mind, and holds them at her sides* ...You've got a lot of nerve...

Mikenno: *keeps torching Umbra, doing his best to keep them away from the others*

The Shadow: Oh, Key... you seem to be forgetting who's fault his all is... yours, remember? *he gives her a Todd-like grin, which looked quite disturbing on his rotting face. Even as an entity in his own mind, The Shadow - Altodd - was completely delusional*

Todd: *still staring blankly into space*

A. Jacob: *looks back at Mikenno nervously*

Key: ...Y-You're wrong. *shakes her head, and speaks a bit more loudly, more confidently* It's just as much your fault as it was mine. You can't blame me for everything. >:(

Mikenno: *torches a few more, then flies off to land near them, fighting the Umbra from the other side, now*

Umbra: SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

The Shadow: Watch me. *suddenly shoots black lightning at Key*

Todd: *...*

A. Jacob: Mikenno, this is getting VERY dangerous! D8

Mikenno: Well, if I stop killing these things, we'll get overrun! the most we can do is hold them back! D: *proceeds to torch more Umbra*

Key: D:>!! *sidesteps the lightning, and tries shooting him*

The Shadow: *is suddenly in front of her - he was as fast as an Umbra, like he WAS one - an intelligent one*

Todd: *...*

A. Jacob: No - I mean this WHOLE THING is getting too dangerous! D8>

Key: !! *can only really think to step back, to GET AWAY FROM HIM* D8

Mikenno: I can't pull us out unless we're all together! And if we leave now, we might not have a chance to save him--he's too far gone already! D:

The Shadow: *he quickly steps forward and gives Key a hard smack across the face with the back of his hand* You deserve to die, you dog. You deserve everything I'm about to do to you.

A. Jacob: !! *he shoots a light beam at The Shadow*

The Shadow: *summons a wall of Umbra to block Jacob's attack*

An Umbra: *grabs him from behind and flings him*

A. Jacob: !!! *ka-thrown*

Mikenno: son of a--!! *torches more Umbra--their numbers seemed to be growing*

Key: *had pretty much frozen in shock after he hit her, but Jacob's loud curse snapped her back to reality, and she points her gun at him again, about to fire* D8<

The Shadow: *grins at her again* Go ahead. Shoot me.

Umbra: *a lot of them swarm over Jacob*

A. Jacob: MIKENNO GET THEM OFF!!

Todd: *...*

Mikenno: *paves a way to Jacob with his flames, then leaps over and starts ripping the monsters off Jacob* D:>

Key: ... *pulls the trigger*

The Shadow: *the bullet hits him. He doesn't even flinch* Are you happy now? Are you satisfied? I love this, Key, remember? I love pain. *he was still grinning, but the grin turned nasty. He rips the gun out of her hand and punches her hard in the face*

Key: !! *staggers back, nearly falling over. keeping her other pistol pointed at the Shadow, she puts her now-free hand over her nose, trying to stop the blood that she was sure was flowing out. her bravery was running dry, and it showed*

Mikenno: *breathes fire at any more Umbra that may be approaching. he glances back worriedly at Key* she's getting killed out there....

A. Jacob: No shoot! We need to help her! D8>

More Umbra: *THEY COME*

The Shadow: What's wrong, Key? *he takes a step forward* Scared? Hahaha...

Me: She needs to beat him up.

Mikenno: !!! *burns more Umbra* there's too many of these things--!!

Key: *takes a step back when he steps forward, trying to keep the distance even* D8 ...

Key: *jumps at his sudden rage, rather fearful of him in this state--this is the Altodd that raped her. she steps back, standing slightly behind Todd* ...

Mikenno: ...Okay, I see the problem. At least he's strapped down... Okay, so who's going in with me?

Mikenno: I can take more than one person with me. If you want to come, you're more than welcome to. I'd appreciate the help.

Altodd: *struggles angrily, then, when he hears what Mikenno and the others are saying, he only laughs* Hahahah! you can't help him - he's GONE. There's nothing left of him to SAVE! HAHAHAH!

Key: *is terrified at the idea of going into this psycho's HEAD, but... Altodd deserved saving. He wasn't a monster anymore* .... I'll go.

Mikenno: Alright. *steps over to Altodd, and puts a hand on his arm* ... *to the others* When I close my eyes, you have to somehow get in contact with me to get pulled in. heck, making a chain works.

Key: ... *nods*

Mikenno: *turns his attention back to Altodd, and concentrates, his eyes unfocusing for a moment before drooping closed*

Key: ... *takes Todd's hand* ...I-I'm ready.

Todd: *he nods, and holds onto Mikenno's wrist* ...

Jacob: *holds onto Key's hand* ._.

THEY ENTER

*the place is just as black as before, but as it was his actual mind, and not a dream state of it, one could see the missing pieces of it - where the black was gone, blue and red light shone through. Umbra were everywhere*

Todd: Oh god - I hope those Umbra are friendly. D8

Umbra: *are not. They screech at the party of four* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Mikenno: *turns to his dragon form* I'm pretty sure I made it so you had your weapons on you, but that's about as much as I can do. Don't get killed. It'll probably severely affect you outside of here too.

Jacob: AWESOME. What weapon would I have? *he can feel something inside him* ... ahah. Ah. *he turns into a controllable version of Angel* Let's do this, shall we?

Todd: ... *he has his clawed gauntlets* ...

Umbra: *about fifteen of them attack*

Mikenno: *breathes a stream of fire at the ones closest to the group, trying to pave a way forward*

Key: *really doesn't want to find out what she would see if she was attacked by an Umbra (such a coward) so she stays in the middle of the group* D8 ....

Todd: *slashes at the umbra as best as he can without getting hit himself, or having his happiness sucked away*

A. Jacob: *shoots streams of light energy at them*

*it was when the tenth Umbra was destroyed that The Shadow finally revealed himself, fading into existence, like an Umbra would do on the field. He sneers at the group*

The Shadow: Having trouble finding him?

Mikenno: *snorts* We haven't even started looking yet. Trust me, I've dealt with greater evils than you.

Key: *highly doubts it, but keeps her mouth shut* ...

The Shadow: *he smirks, then looks over at Key* Aha... hah hah... it's sad that you have to see me looking like a oh... what's the word... *he points at Todd* Well, like he used to look like.

The Shadow: Right, like a zombie.

Todd: *FUMES*

The Shadow: *to Todd* maybe that's why she preferred me over you, TODD... because I was human, and you were a THING.

The Shadow: I was human once, once long ago - I was considered a person. Back when this freak and I were one guy... but I suffered more than him... he got friends, love, a good life.
