Life's been a dog lately though. I was suppose to go to England for a short vacation with a mate, but decided not to go in the end, so the rest of my vacation, i'll be filling it with working. I dont mind that though, it's just that i was looking forward to it. -_-'

You should seriously check out Kenshin ^-^ The time setting for that's in the 1870's (I think it is...I ain't good with dates -_-') during the Meiji era. First time round watching it I wasn't so interested, but this second time around I'm hooked. You'll need to watch the anime and read the manga though, since there are things in the manga which aren't in the anime, and vice versa. Plus there's 6 OVA eps (named Samurai X) and a movie too...but man, I really recommend it to ya!! It's great to hear you're gonna start learning Japanese too. I wish I could...I just don't have the brain power anymore to learn anything new, or remember it. My brain's turned to mush XD Also, if you do get into Kenshin, they teach you some stuff about the Bakumatsu, and about the Ishin Shishi and Shinsengumi (ppl fighting for and against the Shogun right before the Meiji era began, just in case you didn't know ^-^). I became intrigued with the Shinsengumi and started researching it for some strange reason O.o' I'm sure the quality will still be there when you reach issue 200 of your fic!! If you've gotten to 150, there's no stopping you now ^_^ And thankyou too for your compliment about my featured pic. It was just something random I did one weekend...was surprised it turned out ok to be honest. Hehe, the dude in that pic's in Kenshin ^.^ Anyhow, I'll see ya later!!
