Altodd: *Fur starts to sprout on his back and shoulders, chest, pelvis, and especially around the neck and face. Large snaps and many crackles are heard all over his body as he painfully shifts into the body of a werewolf*

Altodd: *Once he's fully transformed, he howls at the moon, visible from where he stands*

Key: *slowly steps out from behind Todd, approaching Altodd* ...

Altodd: *Turns and snarls in Key's face, baring his glistening teeth*

Key: *does her best not to flinch away* Shhh... *slowly holds out her hand to him*

Altodd: *He shoves his nose against it, sniffing it, then, after some uncertainty, licks Key's hand*

Key: *also breathes a sigh of relief* Oookay... Alrighty, Altodd, time to go on an adventure. *rubs his neck, nudging him out towards the forest. they walk past the tree Mia was hiding behind*

Altodd: *He walks with Key for a total of one second before turning and looking behind the tree Mia was using to hide. He sniffs Mia*

Mia: *freezes up in terror* DDDDDDDD8

Key: !!

Everyone: !!!!!!

Altodd: *He ends up giving Mia a tiny lick on the cheek*

Everyone: *MORE RELIEF*

Mia: D8 ... *relaxes a bit, though she is still rather tense. she stares at the werewolf, a bit scared to move*

Key: *tries to tug Altodd away* Come ooon... D:

Everyone: .__.

Altodd: *He pulls himself away from Key's grip and pulls Mia into a tight hug, licking her*

Everyone: 8C

Mia: !? *doesn't really know how to react to suddenly being covered in werewolf slobber, so she kind of just... lets it happen* 8C ...

Key: Eheh... whoops. Well, at least we know YOU'RE safe with him. ^^;

Altodd: *He lets go of Mia, then backs away on all fours. He jerks his head to the left, signalling that he wants her to follow him*

Mia: o__o *looks at Key, then back at Altodd* Um... SHOULD I...?

Key: ...I'll follow along for a bit if you want. I don't think he'll hurt you though--if he wanted to, he already would have.

Mia: *takes a deep breath, then lets it out slowly* oooookay. Here goes nothing. *steps closer to the werewolf, hesitantly putting a hand on his side*

Altodd: *He pants happily, then turns and walks with them, away from the others*

Everyone: .__.

Mia: ... *follows Altodd, keeping her hand on his side*

Key: *hangs back a bit. she remembers something--she darts back to grab Altodd's clothes for the morning, and then follows them*

Sam: *Scoots closer to Sarah*

Altodd: *Feeling a bit better, he stumbles back over to the group* Mnngh... D;

Sarah: *rests her head on Sam's shoulder*

Key: *notices Altodd's hungry look* Oh--Hey, Altodd! *cuts out a piece of the deer that isn't fully cooked, and tosses it to him*

Altodd: Thank you. DX *He rips the piece of red, bleeding meat apart with his teeth*

Todd: *Looks away from Altodd. Seeing someone who looks like him act like a monster creeps him out* <__<;

Mia: o___o *scoots away from Altodd, not wanting to get any more blood on her clothes*

Sarah: Well there was this really pretty pond not too far from here... had a waterfall feeding into it and everything.

Altodd: *Stops in his devouring of the meat, now curious* Waterfall? And where was this?

Todd: *Continues cooking the meat. It's nearly done*

Sarah: Oh, it's about fifteen minutes that way-- *points behind her* Just keep going straight. Why?

Key: *watches the meat carefully so it doesn't burn*

Altodd: *Is awake, sitting near Mia and watching her. He feels nauseous and dizzy. The joys of being a werewolf*

Altodd: *Eventually he can't hold it back any longer and shakily gets up to move away and vomit in peace*

Altodd: *Continues to vomit away from the others, retching and groaning from the uncomfortable situation*

Altodd: Oh, good job. You got that going pretty quickly. *He quickly sets up a campfire area*

Mia: Not that hard when you can spontaneously combust things with your mind... <:/ *sits down on the grass, close enough to feel a bit of the fire's warmth, but decently far away from it* ...

Altodd: Are you okay? You're sitting pretty far from the fire. <:/

Mia: It's still warm over here.

Altodd: ... Do you not like your own fire?

Mia: ...Fire makes me uncomfortable.

Altodd: *Scoots near her* ... Do you mind telling me why? <:/

Mia: ...I almost died in a house fire once. Dog knocked something over on the stove, it caught fire, it grew too quickly for us to put it out. *sighs, her voice a bit lower* ...been nervous around it ever since.

Altodd: D:> ... Well, you've got fire powers now, so you'll need to get used to it. Maybe I can help you? <:(

Mia: ...How? I'd prefer not to use you as a target...

Altodd: I don't know yet, but I'm sure we can find something around here to help us. Trust me. <:)

Mia: *smiles a little bit* Alright. I trust you.

Altodd: Good! :) *He looks up through a small patch of trees and spots the nearly-full moon* ... I'm going to turn tomorrow...

Mia: ! Oh. Well, good thing we're out here and not in the city, right?

Altodd: ... Turning's never a good thing. You think you're afraid of YOUR powers... Mine is a literal CURSE...

Altodd: For the most part, yeah... There's still always that risk. I don't know WHAT Key does that magically keeps the others safe. Maybe she leads me away from them.

Mia: *quietly gathers firewood, setting it down in a pile in the middle of the small clearing* ... Ah... I just remembered I can... *starts a little fire in her hand* ...

Mia: Apparently... I guess since it was a power he passed on and not a command, it stuck around... *closes her hand, putting it out* ...

Mia: We can start campfires with it, I guess. *glances back at him* How much wood do you have?

Altodd: *Holds out his arms to show her the few thick branches he's picked up* This many.

Mia: MUCH better, thanks to you... *lightly touches his hand, which was still on her shoulder, scooting herself closer to him*

Altodd: *He smiles a bit wider, rubbing her shoulder with his thumb* I'm really glad to hear that. Maybe spending a night with me isn't so bad after all. <:P

Mia: *wraps her other arm around his middle* Maybe we could... spend a little MORE time together?

Altodd: ... That'd be nice. Maybe we can learn a little more about each other. Maybe I can help you pull further away from Lucifer. <:)

Mia: *lowers her voice, leaning in very close to him* That's not what I meant.

Mia: Of course you can, it's not so hard... here-- *flips over so that she's straddling his lap, her hands on his chest* --let me help you along... *drags her nails down his chest and torso*

Mia: *staring after him lustfully* What do you mean? This is how I always am...

Mia: ... *swallows her urges, and scoots closer to him, her arm pressing against his. she was surprised by how warm he was* ! ...

Altodd: <:) *He reaches over and rubs her other arm with his free hand*

Mia: *does her best to ignore the little voice in her head. instead, she tries to focus on how WARM he is* ...heh... I can't tell if you're seriously warm, or I'm just freezing...

Altodd: Maybe I'm warmer than normal people. I AM a werewolf, after all.

Mia: Heheh. Looks like Twilight was right about ONE thing. At least Claire doesn't sparkle.

The Next Morning

Altodd: *Still asleep*

Meanwhile

Lucifer: *Actually CAN command Mia from about that much distance, as he is an angel at full-power. Though he doesn't want Mia as a minion anymore, he'd rather mess with her new-found relationship for fun* (Mia... Go into a nice little trance and look over at Altodd. Look at his muscles. Those are the muscles of a perfect man, and they sexually arouse you.)

Mia: *is woken up, and looks Altodd up and down, as commanded* ....

Altodd: ... *He then hugs her. Silent, and not caring if he gets hurt as a result*

Mia: !! *is shocked by the sudden desire to hurt him, her sword halfway out of it's sheath before she even knew what she was doing. she was so frightened by her own action that she pushes him away, and tosses the sword aside, as if it had suddenly turned into a snake. she stares at the sword, then at her hands, then just sobs into them, mostly out of fear--fear of her own actions*

Altodd: D:> ... *He is shocked by Mia's actions, and yet not as surprised as he thought he'd be* ... I'm sorry. That was my fault. Way too sudden. I get it.

Mia: N-No, no, d-don't apologize, I... I-I told you you couldn't trust me...!

Altodd: I don't CARE... I don't want... You to... End up like Sam...

Mia: D-Did Sam end up killing you?!

Altodd: *Stares at her for a while, eyes glistening from the harsh memory* ... ... Yeah. Yeah, she did.

Mia: ! *stares at him for a moment, then turns away yet again. there i a long pause before she finally speaks again* ...I-I'm sorry. *the apology was heavy in her throat, as almost every fiber of her being was commanding her to keep silent--but the apology wasn't just for the insensitive comment. it was for EVERYTHING*

Altodd: ... You don't have to be sorry, Mia... You didn't know. You don't have to be sorry for ANYTHING. Nothing you've done was your fault.

Mia: I-It feels like it was... a-ALL of it... I knew exactly what I was doing the whole time and...a-and just looking back on it it's just--it's SCARY! It's TERRIFYING what he does, he j-just gets into your head and makes you think you're thinking all those things and it's j-just... and he's still THERE... *forces herself to stop talking, lest she break down into sobs again*

Altodd: ... Mia. It's going to get better, okay? He's far away from you. You can learn to ignore his commands. <:(

Mia: *nods quietly, trying oh so very hard to believe him... only time will tell if he's right* ...

*They run for a bit before finally coming to a stop*

Harry: We need to find a way to get rid of Lucifer. Or at least make him not so power-crazed anymore.

Key: *puts her hands on Altodd's shoulders, and heals him* The only one to blame here is Lucifer.

Mia: *rubs her arms, feeling unnaturally cold, almost as if a fire had been put out. she hesitates, but nods*

Mia: *nods wordlessly, still keeping her arms close to her body* ...I still can't trust myself around you... I can hear him in my head still...

Mia: *stares back into his eyes, and is reminded of that night, while they were sparring, when they--but no, that reminds her of something she doesn't want to remember, and she breaks the held gaze, nervously biting her lip and stepping away as Lucifer's order (you hate him, kill him, he deserves to die) echoes in her head* ...I don't want to hurt you again.

Mia: *shakes her head vigorously* I can't be trusted, Altodd, not after having him in my head like that. Not after what I did to you, I don't deserve your help...
