Harry: Oh good.

Iratus: *creeps out of his room, yawning*

Claire: Oh, that's convenient... Now all we need is for Sarah to come back and for Shidako to come out....

Todd: *he is also sad, though mainly because he hates being angry with people* ...

Sam: *his expression blank, he nods, and goes upstairs, completely silent*

Claire: *comes out of the room, wide awake* ...What happened? D:

Sarah: *waits until Sam is back inside the building, then turns around and stomps off down the street, fists clenched, teeth gritted as she tries to hold back tears. This wasn't her fault, not in the slightest. She wasn't to blame here. She wasn't!*

Harry: Todd and Sarah were yelling at each other, and I don;t know why, and Todd didn't really know either...

Sam: *silently enters the room*

Harry: Sam? Did you find Sarah?

Sam: ... Yes... I can't talk to her.

Claire: ...Why not? :/

Sam: ... I... I don't know...

Harry: ... Sarah must have not been in the mood to talk...

Sam: ... I tried talking to her, but then we started arguing, and next thing I know, I'm up here... <:(

Claire: She must've forced you to... *drops the end of her sentence, her expression going blank again* ...

Sam: The doctor couldn't fix her?? D8>

Harry: ... No... he couldn't... what he DID suggest, though, was to somehow undo the effects by... well... making her a vampire again.

Sam: ... Harry... there aren't any vampires in Water City... D:>

Claire: *slowly turns her head to look up at Harry, blankly staring at him* ...

Harry: ... ... We'd... we'd have to go back to the surface, then... find the vampire that bit Claire before... "Lord Bibentus" or whatever...

Sam: ... Would they even LET US leave? After we found out about what made her like this in the FIRST place?? D8>

Key: He was FURIOUS... I'm pretty sure he's been wanting to get back at Altodd ever since he found out what happened...

Jacob: ... ... Oh... *starts treating Altodd's wound* ... I'm terribly sorry he acted like that...

Altodd: ... You don't have to be sorry...

Key: It's not your fault. It's not anyone's fault. <:/

Jacob: ... I can at least be sorry that this happened... <:/

Sarah: *is still asleep outside Sam's door, tear streaks marked on her face*

Sarah: *starts waking up a bit from the sound of the door opening* Mmh...

Sam: *looks around to see if anyone else is up yet. Nope. Then he looks back down at Sarah* D: ...

Sarah: *finally blinks awake. she notices a pair of feet standing by her, and looks up* ! .......hey.

Sam: *staring at her* ... Hey... so... fell asleep here, huh?

Sarah: ...mhmm. *stands up* I was waiting for you to get up.

Sam: ... Well here I am now... say what you need to say.

Altodd: *feels and looks submissive - if he was a dog, his tail would be under his legs*

Everyone: *attacks each other*

Key: *defends Altodd, mostly by sending furious glares at any allies who looked at them funny*

Raptor: *watches from a distance. he was sick and tired of feeling time pass and seeing that brute go unpunished for what he did. punishment or not, he was going to be taking matters into his own hands... all he needed was a distraction*

Altodd: *is forced to shank a bestial troll creature when it gets to close* D8 !!

Key: !! *is forced to step aside as the troll falls in between them*

Raptor: ! *takes his chance--he launches himself at Altodd, laser-blades out*

Altodd: *he notices Raptor and quickly sidesteps his attack* RAPTOR, DON'T! D8

Key: D8< !! *quickly gets around the fallen troll, but is almost immediately attacked by a pair of heartless* !!!

Raptor: *snarls in frustration, and swipes at him again*

Altodd: *he's distracted when Key is attacked by the heartless and is hit* NRAUGH!! *he stumbles back, holding the deep wound across his torso* ...Oh no...

Key: *tears through the heartless in practically no time at all, just in time to see Raptor slash Altodd in the chest* !!!!!

Raptor: *is completely unfazed--the blood almost immediately fizzles off the blade, and he advances towards Altodd, eager to see him dead*

Key: *isn't about to let him do that again--she charges over to him and backhands him, sending him flying back a few feet* D8<

Raptor: !!!???

Altodd: *he still clutches at his wound, the blood seeping through his fingers* ... Key...! He's g-gonna be -

THE RACCOON: JEEBUS CHRISTMAS, YOU GUY, RAPTOR, SUCK!

Key: !

THE FISH: YEAH FOR SERIOUSLY. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

Raptor: *blurts out* He killed Jacob! Our ONLY MEDIC! HE'S responsible for EVERY SINGLE DERIVITI DEATH since then!!

THE FISH: AH, BUT HE NEVER RAISED HIS BLADE TO KILL ANYONE, NO? UNLIKE YOU.

THE RACCOON: YUP YUP, YOU NEED TO BE PUNISHED.

Jacob: *appears* ... I knew I'd come back.

Altodd: ! *wonders how this may be punishment* D: ?

THE RACCOON: JACOB IS STRAIGHT, NOW. SUCKS TO BE YOU, RAPTOR.

Key: !! *deems this an extremely harsh punishment--having him this close and yet so far out of reach was worse than having him dead* ...

THE FISH: MAYBE YOU'LL USE YOUR HEAD NEXT TIME, FEATHERBUTT. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *poofs*

THE RACCOON: WHAT SHE SAID. *POOFS*

Jacob: Well... this is, uh... awkward...

Raptor: *stares, beak agape. so close, yet so far... though he couldn't allow himself to cry. Jacob was back, wasn't that all that mattered? (no. no it wasn't.)* ...G-Glad to have you back, Jacob.

Someone: RETREAT!!

Raptor: ... *trudges over to the teleporter, heartbroken*

Altodd: *limps to the teleporter with Key* D:>

Raptor: *goes back to his old room, to sleep alone*

Key: *winces--they were still angry. she cracks the door open, looking outside--perhaps it would be best if they wait until there was no one left before they try heading out* ...

Altodd: ... Good idea to wait in here...

Key: Mhmm... *closes the door, and leans back against it, waiting for the noise of the people outside to die down* ...

Altodd: ... I hate hiding from allies.

Key: ...can we really call them allies if we have to hide from them? <:/

Altodd: We SHOULDN'T BE, though... I mean, we're on the same TEAM, right? D:>

Key: I know... and they all know what happens if they try anything, so I don't think they will, either... I'd just... rather not have to worry at all. <:/

Altodd: ... I... I understand... *he sighs* ... poor Raptor...

Key: ...It's him we have to worry about most, you know... <:/

Altodd: ... I know... I just can't help but feel horrible whenever I think of him, though...

Altodd: ... To think what would happen if they brought Jacob back...

Key: Mmh... *slightly opens the door again* ...Everyone's gone. We should get moving...

Altodd: Alright... *walks out, sword ready. He enters the teleporter*

Key: *stands by him protectively, claws in plain sight*

Altodd: *he reddens a bit from this. Love, happiness. Emotions that he once thought he didn't deserve to feel, exploding within him now, painting the inside of his heart* <:)

Key: <:) *nuzzles him affectionately, briefly kissing him. it all felt so familiar... maybe that's why it felt okay to her. why she felt so at home with Altodd now. She didn't mind the change, now that she thought about it. He needed her, and she needed him, and that was all that mattered*

Altodd: ... *quietly* ... Do you want to go sleep now?

Key: ... *nods* Mhmm.

Altodd: Mmmokay... <3 *gets off Key, lying down beside her. He softly kisses her shoulder*

Key: Mm... <3 *turns to face him, and snuggles into him, nuzzling into his neck*

Altodd: *nuzzles her back, feeling comfortable, happy, and safe. He sighs happily and closes his eyes, quickly falling asleep*

Key: *watches him sleep for a little bit, carefully brushing a runaway strand of hair out of his face. once she was sure he wasn't going to wake up, she reaches for her pills and takes one, then snuggles right back into him, falling asleep snuggled into him*

The Next Morning

Altodd: *still asleep. For once, he had a rather pleasant dream. It was of Key... him and Key, simply... together...*

Key: *slowly blinks awake. she smiles upon finding Altodd asleep, and decides to stay still, letting him sleep--he's been losing a lot of sleep lately, she thought he deserved some extra rest*

Altodd: *he sleeps, and he sleeps, waking up an hour or so later, and even then, he's still a bit groggy* Mnnhgh...

Key: *gently whispers* Good morning... did you sleep okay?

Altodd: *he sleepily smiles at her* ... The best sleep I've had in a while... thank you again...

Key: *lightly nuzzles him* Anytime... <:)

Altodd: *nuzzles her back* ... I love you, Key...

Key: I love you too...

Altodd: *he kisses her, then gets out of bed and gets dressed*

Key: *gets out of bed as well, gathering her clothes and putting them on. she hoped there wouldn't be any serious problems today....*
