nextguardianAgreed :)

lol, I knew there was a good solution to that situation that I overlooked! I was more consumed with playing the hero. Oh well. I got the situation half right. XD

Thanks^^ I had to do something. To just quit would have sucked.

YunieXTidusxD now you know what to do next time.

Lol well, you made a nice rebound. The score is 6-1, in your favor.

Whatcha up to?

nextguardianright. (Nods sagely) Next time I jump their bones with a hot foursome.
(point?)

Thank you^^

Nothing in particular. Listening to some music atm. How about you?

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 3:04:45 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusxD Point- for catching me off guard.

7-1. I've got some work to do. xD

Catching up on 'Caprica.' It's a prequel to the show 'Battlestar Galactica.' Ever heard of either?

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 3:14:53 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianYay! Of course, if it ever happens again, I MAY graduate to polite conversation with them. If that.

lol, you don't need me to wish you luck. It doesn't take much to make me blush.

Haven't seen either of them, but I know of Battlestar Galactica. Good stuff?

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 3:16:50 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusxD Right.

Lol fair enough. It won't be hard. (smug smirk) Ahh... poor choice of words. ;]

Good stuff indeed! I recommend both, highly, highly! Watching these has reminded me of my deep need to finish collecting the Galactica box sets, and start on Caprica. Man, so good. xD Did I mention it's really good?

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 3:23:52 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianBut I'll be darned eloquent! I might even say 'hi'!

lmao, point for you. Good score! Although I wonder what made you think of that...Fantisizing, are we? ;)

Maybe I'll give them a shot. I could use something new to watch.

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 3:34:52 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol wow, great word choice!

;] Wouldn't you like to know? (point to you for the nice deflection)

8-2

You definitely won't be disappointed. But watch Galactica before you watch Caprica. You just won't have the same appreciation for Caprica otherwise. I've gotta warn you, it can be damn depressing at times, and at others quite raunchy. Lots of barely-concealed sex scenes. xDD

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 3:39:57 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianSo original, right? But it gets a response 90% of the time!

Well, if I'm involved, sure. Naughty thoughts- for shame! lol. I NEVER have those...
...
Yeah, okay. Maybe I should lose a point for that horrid lie?

Well, sounds good to me. Are they 'classy' sex scenes, or more on the trashy side?

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 3:43:53 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol even if that response is an icy glare.

I'll keep that in mind the next time I have naughty thoughts about you, eh? ;]

....Yeah, I'd have to agree, although- anything at this point to lessen the overwhelming score.

7-2

Hmm... I'm leaning toward the 'trashy' side. But they're very well done! xD At least you've got quality.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 3:50:04 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianIf I get the icy glare, I'll shrug and say "Then freeze, dog!" and push her out of the circle of warmth. Then I'll turn, smile at the other three, and say 'Hey, c'mon, why do good looking girls like you hang out with her? she's way too mean. You, on the other hand, are good people.'

Hey, tell me about them. Maybe you'll earn the 'hard'. XD

If they're well-done, then that's all good. As long as they fit the plot. I don't like sex for the sake of sex in movies for the most part. There needs to be a point to it, you know?

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 3:53:48 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLmao RIGHT, because -you- would say something like that.

Another point to you for making me speechless again. xD

8-2

Lol well it has a point most of the time... but sometimes, they just needed plot filler.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 3:57:25 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianYeah, true. I'd probably apologize -_-' lol

Yay! Score one for me!

Sounds like accurate human interraction to me, then.

Well, I've got to call it quits for tonight. Early morning tomorrow. Good chatting with you, as always!

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 3:59:26 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusGood night then! Tonight's been fun.

YunieXTidus on June 14, 2011, 4:06:53 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusI just had the most perfect idea for a future story, 'calling on Amy having almost been assimilated by the Borg.' True enough, my inspiration came from watching Caprica last night.

This girl, recruited as a soldier for religious zealots, was listening to a weapons briefing with the rest of her soldiers when this kid who came in late got stopped by a sentry, because he forgot to salute. The kid snapped off at the sentry, and the sentry retaliated by telling one of the robots, called U-87's, to "shoot this man."

She saw what happened and ran out there, shouting at the robot to stop before she was apprehended by two other soldiers. The robot pulled his gun back, turning to the girl, saying "Are you in command?" The sentry ordered the robot to resume, and it turned back to the soldier and pointed its gun at him. She again shouted to stop, and the robot again pulled his gun back and asked her if she was in command. An actual authority figure came out to observe the scene and told the robot to resume, and the sentry told it the same thing, but it wouldn't even turn to look at the soldier. It just kept staring at the girl.

Later, the girl is brought to the tent of one of the commanding officers, asking "what the hell happened out there? you know that it's impossible to get a U-87 to stop once a command has been issued unless you're a commanding officer.

"Yes, sir. I don't know what happened. I just told it to stop, and it did."

Later, they perceive that as a threat, and try to have her killed.

So I was thinking that the girl could be Amy, crash-landed on some planet and forced to join some sort of soldier group to survive, and the 'robots' were rogue drones who'd been programmed somehow to obey humans. Once they perceive her as a threat, it's a race against the clock for Julian and the rest of the DS9 team to find her before she's terminated.

What do you think?

nextguardianI'm alright, thank you :)

Anything good going tonight?

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 10:32:50 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusStorming here, finally. My friend is supposed to come over after she eats, but I don't know if that'll happen. XD

On a sadder note, we're putting my dog down on Thursday morning.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 10:42:16 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianOh man, I'm so sorry to hear that! My deepest sympathies for your upcoming loss.

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 11:17:20 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThanks. She was my best friend.

So what's up with you?

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 11:20:26 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI know how that goes :(

I've been entertaining the idea of drawing Azami and Yuji in their 'Mercenaries' forms. I found a reference pic for Azami that hits her skin tone and outfit (okay, her underwear), with her general body shape and tone.

How about you?

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 11:26:25 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusHaha I'll have to make my own attempt at some point.

Just watching doctor who. When the rents go to bed, I'll probably watch some DS9.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 11:28:56 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI can't draw women. Or men. The only thing I wind up liking are my designs. The finished product is always underwhelming to me.
In case you were curious (It's mild, and on second glance, not underwear. Just normal clothes):
http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-775607.html

Nice! Of course, that makes me want to ask you how you're doing on the ST fic ;) lol.

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 11:55:15 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusJust lots of practice. Lol.

Haha I haven't made much progress, but maybe I will tonight! ;) So eager, we are.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 11:56:55 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianCould it be that the mere image of a woman makes me tremble? lol.

Incredibly eager. (licks lips) I want more!
(see, see?! I'm getting better at this!)

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 12:01:16 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLmao you're hopeless, you are.

(Bats eyelashes and gives you a coy smile) And what exactly is it that you want more of?

(Yes, you are! I'm proud of you. ;] I think I'm a bad influence on you)

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 12:08:27 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI know. lol. I haven't hit the depths yet. A buddy of mine went to Vegas, got an escort, and took her on a date. He tells me "I just wanted to take her out and maybe learn something. I didn't want sex."

Oh, you know what I'm talking about. You know I can't resist you when you play at being coy.

(lol, probably. You probably are XD. Then again, this is need-to-know stuff! XD)

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 12:16:26 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusIs sex what he got? ;)

(Leans in with a smirk) I'm afraid you'll have to enlighten me, sir.

Wow, I hadn't realized how far you've come!

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 12:29:39 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianlol, no. She was surprisingly nice, apparently. He did learn alot. He recommended I take the same approach. What do you think? lol, I'm not actually going to do it. I'm just curious about what you think.

(Grins) I brought the handcuffs...

Thanks^^

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 12:34:19 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol I'd be too shy to get an escort, but if that works for you, then by all means. xD

(Eyes widen) ....For me, or for you?

Lol this is monumental!

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 12:38:55 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI couldn't do it, either. It's a great learning opportunity, but I've got my pride (sort of). If I'm going out with a girl, I want to earn it! (Heroic fist pump)

Lady's choice...

It really is! Must've caught me on a good day or something XD

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 1:09:07 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusxD True enough.

(Tsk tsk) A man should never be afraid to take the initiative.

You should have good days more often. This is too much fun to deprive me of!

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 1:18:34 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianBesides, those poor girls are probably breeding grounds for disease. (lol, shot for lameness. Then shot again for using a 'shot' joke)

Afraid, no. It's simply a matter of courtesy. Wherever you're happiest...in control or otherwise...

lol, it is kind of fun ^^

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 1:26:30 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusxD Well, I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time to them. (shoots you three times)

Hmm. I think you use your 'courtesy' as a defense mechanism... so you don't have to choose...

xD No kidding.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 1:30:32 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI won't question their career choice. Probably more benefits than detriments. Also: ow ow ow.

Mmm. It's both. Being gentlemanly is too ingrained in me for me to act contrary to it.

I need to to this in person. lol. I've taken the first step. The next is live flirting! lol.

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 1:34:03 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusWell, except for, you know, STD's.

I give you full permission to take the initiative. There- your gentlemanly traits are satisfied.

xD One step at a time. You've taken the precursor step- this doesn't REALLY count, 'cause you're not actually interested in me! First step is saying this sort of stuff to a girl you're interested in. THEN comes live flirting.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 1:40:25 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianOr rapists, I would think.

IUh...you mean right now? Like right now?

True. It's easy when it's someone you've never met in person. If a person's face is in your mind, it's way easier to picture the stuff you're saying.

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 1:43:02 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThat's true.

(takes a step closer) Right this second.

Yeah. I always have a harder time saying stuff like this face to face than over text or the internet.

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 1:50:52 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianno one deserves that.

Uh...yeah. So, um, let me see your wrists...(gulp)

It's too easy to misspeak or misread intentions, I think. Though it's also probably more fun in person.

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 1:52:37 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidus(presents them, palms upward, with a mischevious smirk)

Very true. Also very true. xD

nextguardian on June 13, 2011, 2:06:09 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianlol, you win. I don't think I can go farther with this. Which really sucks, because I actually do know what comes next! lol.

Though I rarely find anyone I like. My college is the worst place to meet someone. It's basically a continuation of high school, with cliques and the like. It's like first day in the lunchroom, where do I sit all over again.
(for the record, I solved that by not going to the cafeteria).

YunieXTidus on June 13, 2011, 2:08:47 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusxD Yes! Point 1 for me!

Ah, jeez. I forgot about the 'cafeteria' thing. -_- There goes my paycheck. Off to Jimmy-John's!

nextguardianI'm doing okay. How about you?

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 1:00:28 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusVery frustrated about my slow internet connection on my phone. I may have to give it up til tomorrow, when I'll be on the road, and away from thus black hole of a cell phone reception spot.

I got an okay start on my novel last night, and I can't wait to get to WiFi range so I can email it to you. Lol I need to think up a title. Any ideas?

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 1:03:08 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianOn the upside, that likely means you're going somewhere with a better internet connection :)

I would say something with 'Tryst' in the title would be good. I don't know why, but it has a good sound to it that way. lol.

Question: How hairy do you like guys to be? (lol, back to this XD)

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 1:10:27 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol true. I can't wait to put many leagues between me and this deadzone.

Mm, it does, doesn't it? Lol I'll see what I can do.

xD well... I don't really want a gorilla. A dab of chest hair is nice, and that line of hair from the navel... down... is always sexy (when groomed). I dont really care about arm/leg hair as Kong as they aren't wearing a fur coat. I don't mind a thin, groomed beard, or sideburns, or mustache, or goatee etc etc. Anything that meets those criteria or below it on the hairy scale is fine with me. Also, a five-o'clock shadow is deliciously appealing. That slight friction when you're cheek to cheek... or anything to cheek, really. xD

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 1:17:11 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianlol, I hear you. It would drive me nuts, too.

That just makes it sounds forbidden and juicy right off the bat.

This is one area where no two girls agree, apparently. Facial hair especially. See, I do the five o'clock shadow thing all Kyle Reese style during the hockey season so that I look older when I officiate. I'm not sure whether or not it's a good thing for me. Some girls drool all over the younger looking man, which I'm told is me to a T. I do look young, so I'm not sure whether I want to try to look older, or if I want to keep the rockin' the baby face thing.

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 1:22:16 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol it certainly does that. I'll have to come up with something good.

I've heard that, too. I, personally prefer the older looking man, simply because it speaks of experience. Even if there is no experience to speak of. ;)

Questions, please!

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 1:24:39 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI'm sure you will :)

Hmm...okay.

Is a guy in a trench coat automatically creepy? (ditto with wearing black)
What sort of footwear is good?
Are sunglasses an instant turn-off?
Is wearing a semi-dress shirt with, say, jeans, stupid?

Likewise, questions!

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 1:31:11 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusTrenchcoats are for detectives and pervs, as a postcard I saw once said. Definitely turn-off material. Wearing black, not necessarily, but I'd need a more specific example. Sunglasses-depends on the brand. Oakleys are hot. Aviators, also good.

Wearing a semidress shirt with jeans is perfectly acceptable. It happens all the time. Personally I have a preference for button-up shirts. They're so much fun to undo! ;D

Lol I can't think of anything right now. I'll get back to you.

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 1:40:41 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianDamn, too bad. See, for some reason, jackets/coats are my thing. WWII Bomber jacket, Black Leather Jacket, three-buckle trench coat, long rain coat, 80's jean jacket. Trenchoats seem to give me confidence. Probably because every hero/villian I've ever liked has worn one, lol. From Kyle Reese to Albert Wesker.
So I need to become a detective...lol.

Black- again, my thing. Or white. Two most comfortable colors, and they all go with something, so I don't have to think for too long about what I'm going to wear. Oh, and gray jeans, because no one wears those.

Okay, what about short sleeve button-up shirts? I always think I look like an idiot in them.

Okay :) C'mon, think up something juicy!
Oh, I know. Here's a good myth that I can destroy:
Guys DO know makeup. More than we'd like to know. BUt we play dumb because (a) it's a 'girl thing, and (b) we really don't want you to ask us your opinion. If we're wrong, we'll suffer for it, see? So we'll smile and nod, and maybe make sly comments, rather than be all "wow, that eyeliner is sooooo wrong for that lipstick!"

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 1:52:26 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusJackets and coats are fine. Raincoats and trenchcoats are not. Try a peacoat. I love them.

Lol either that or risk being labeled a perv. xD

I have three pairs of grey jeans! :o

Only if they're longsleeved, with the sleeves rolled up. That's hot. Like, really hot.

Lol I'll have to keep that in mind. Although, I'm kind of a bare minimum when it comes to makeup. A bit of concealer, some foundation, maybe a touch of eyeshadow if I'm going out somewhere, like, the mall or a restaurant. Very rarely do I ever wear blush, mostly because my cheeks are pink enough on their own. xD same with lipstick. Although, honestly I just hate wearing lipstick, period. Your hair sticks to it, it leaves prints on your cups... it rubs off easily... it stains (well, it can) your teeth. Just too much effort.

Hmm.... when you and your girl are ready to get natural. How do you see this day, then evening unfolding?

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 2:00:02 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianA what? (looks up peacoat). Ah, I see. (nods all Data-ish). If I go that far, I'm almost more inclined to put on a suit. Slick corporate look, maybe?

Damn, too bad. Plus the cold here, it's actually practical. lol. Oh well. I'll reserve that for goth moods.

Really? I'm not a big jeans person, but I have one pair black, one pair standard blue, and one gray. Gray is coolest.

Really? How did that get hot? Huh. Oh well. Whatever works. I don't think that look is for me, though.

I hate it when a girl tries too hard with make-up. Like I said, I'm a sucker for the dark eyed think, maybe black or silver/gray.

I see it happening randomnly anytime seven dates. Starting slow, with maybe one simple thing going really, really right. So we both get all cozy and affectionate. We wind up at her place, completely ignore both alcohol and coffee, and then she sort of seduces me. I go with it, and there were are.
For some reason, I picture it being winter. Maybe being all huddled together in front of a fire.
Conversely, I'd also love for it to happen in, say, a secluded cabin. The whole 'us against nature' this is appealing.
How about you?

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 2:08:30 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusWell, peacoats are great for fall and winter weather. I myself have a black and grey one. They also go well with pretty much anything, and are an easy way to dress up almost any outfit.

I have a pale complexion, so anything darker than a dark brown looks trashy on me. Lol.

Hmm.... I guess how comfortable I am with him right away will determine the date number. But I can see like, a nice evening at a jazz club, or a cozy restaurant, coming home (his place) and popping in a romantic movie, maybe. Then some light seduction on both sides, maybe some necking to get us in the mood... then, ta da.

What's a huge turn on for you (aside from anything previously discussed)?

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 2:20:02 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianBased on my personality, it's probably not a huge stretch to picture me as some uptight businessman XD

I'm pale to the point of looking goth (I'm not, really), but for some reason black works for me. I think. Might be my imagination XD

I admit, I'm uptight about that sort of thing. With AIDS and crap going on, I want to really know the girl before we get busy. If there was a way to make an ID check and a blood test sexy...
(Starting to see why I'm single? lmao!)

Let's see...Japanese school girl look. Thigh-high stockings/socks that are either black or striped. Maybe sort of a goth/lolita look? Leather on the right girl. Ditto with black tank tops. Oh, exposed belly buttons! That's a rare thing in my mind in that it can be simulataneously 'hot' and 'cute'.
Uh, an Abby-ish look is always good. I'm not a big fan of high heels (I mean the ridiculously tall things; some heel is okay). Tattoos and some piercings on the right girl.
Same question to you!

YunieXTidus on June 11, 2011, 2:34:09 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusBlack clothes look good on everyone. I was referring to eyeshadow. XD

I understand. Although, what if the girl was as inexperienced as you?

XD naw, I find your little quirks endearing.

Lol well, I'll have to three on the schoolgirl thing. I own a navy-blue pleated skirt and a white button up shirt. I've also looked into getting some knee high white socks and some Mary janes (shoes), as well as a rosary...

As for me, I am a HUUUUUGE sucker for nerds. Intelligence is a huge turn-on for me, and the awkwardness is adorable. Let's see... I can't think of much that I haven't already told you. Oh! Horn-rimmed glasses.(in the nerd classification). My friend has a pair of actual prescription horn rimmed glasses. Every time I see him, my heart does palpitations.

I love me a foreigner. Hispanic, French, Australian, Russian, BRITISH... It takes all kinds. Lol.

Ask me another!

nextguardian on June 11, 2011, 2:46:25 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianOh, pfft. This is me looking like an @$$. I totally misread that. Wow.

Well then, it would be a learning experience. At least I'd be sure she didn't have AIDS! Although I think I would prefer her to have a little experience. Just enough to be able to coach me through the mechanics. (lmao, I'm dead serious, though that sounds downright pathetic)
I admit, one of my worst fears is having a girl cry rape. That's one reason I don't date much. I just can't bring myself to trust anyone. I don't want my life ruined at a young age for something I didn't do.

Well, thank you XD That gives me some hope!

I loved all of that up to the rosary. I have a hard time associating sex with crosses. That's what private schools do to you, though. lol. No wonder I'm uptight.

I agree that glasses look good on the right person.
Oh, I also really like those girls that are like big sisters to everyone. Usually they're waitresses, and they're always so sweet. The kind of girl that you just know picks up every animal she sees and doesn't have a mean bone in her body.

I'm good with exotic looks, too. The girl I keep mentioning was a mix of Japanese and Italian. I always thought Egyptian women were pretty, for some reason. Ziva is gorgeous, too.

Let's see...okay, got one. How do you react to a shy guy? The guy on the beach who doesn't take his shirt off, but clearly isn't homely? The guy by himself at a restraunt or bar, practically hiding in the corner, but he's practically got 'lonely' in a digital mantra running across his forehead.
Ignore? Good-natured teasing? Full-on teasing?

YunieXTidus on June 12, 2011, 12:28:48 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol well, it happens sometimes. I've done that my share of times, too. xD

Just so you know, you can't 'catch' AIDS. You catch HIV, which gives you AIDS. In case you were unclear on that. If you were clear, just tell me to shut the hell up. xD

One should never live without hope!

xD I heard all the naughty girls went to private schools. They're so pent up from pretending to be a 'good girl' that sooner or later, they snap. Although maybe I read too many bad books. xDD

My brother is the male version of that. xD He's the sweetest guy you'll ever meet in your life.

Yes, Ziva is absolutely gorgeous. I love how she can kick Tony's @$$.

Lol are you trying to instill some hope for yourself? Well, depending on the situation, and how old said 'lonely guy' was, I'd probably good-naturedly tease him. Who knows, maybe I'd even give him my number!

Also, sorry for not responding last night. My phone died before you could respond. xD I ACTUALLY didn't fall asleep this time! -_-

Anyway, how are you tonight?

nextguardian on June 12, 2011, 2:51:01 PM

nextguardianI find it funny that I can completely blank out on what you're saying when I'm honestly trying to keep our conversation vital and interesting, lol.

No, I'm aware. It's just not HIV I'm afraid of. Well, it is, but AIDS terrifies me more, so that's what I put down. Though I suppose it's almost six of one, half dozen of another when you get down to it. Either way, don't want it.

Mmm, you know, that's true. We had a couple of them back in private school. Thing was, I didn't like any of them. We probably all had a bit of an attitude, thinking we were all hot stuff for being in a private school. But hell, I was a loner, even back then. I told my teachers that 'I don't want to fit in; I just want to be left alone'. Real nice attitude for a world-weary, jaded twelve year old. lol.

I think that's what I find most attractive. If you haven't noticed, I tend to like the powerful types. lol. But it's not like I'm lusting after their power.
Hmm. That's an odd turn-on to have, isn't it?

Not so much hope as curiousity on my part. I've got the mentality of 'they're laughing at you, not with you', so I'd mistake the teasing most likely. I've gotta rewire my brain or something.

lol, that's alright. I was pretty much out of it at that point.

I'm not too bad, thank you. How about you? sorry I'm so late. My dog would not go to sleep, and if I left her she emitted this awful squeal...ye gads, made me wanna rip my ears off.

YunieXTidus on June 12, 2011, 2:58:32 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusAh, okay. Just making sure. xD

Lol I was much the same way, but only because I didn't fit in in the first place, and the kids seemed determined to keep it that way. So instead of playing hop-skotch or jump rope or basketball or whatever, I sat on a bench and read. xD I constantly had my nose in a book.

Nah, totally normal. xD Don't get too worried there.

Well, even if they are laughing at you, feel free to laugh at yourself. I've got huge respect for a guy who can brush off teasing and not take himself too seriously. Besides, it would leave your (mean-spirited) teasers speechless. They have no power if they don't affect you! xD I sound like a counselor.

I'm pretty good; soaking up as much fast innernets as I can. I love solid WiFi connection. n_n

Did you get around to downloading/reading that 'Jane Porter' book I linked you?

nextguardian on June 12, 2011, 3:06:37 PM

nextguardianOh, sure. I usually don't even think about the HIV part of it. I just jump to the most certainly gonna kill you stuff.

Same here. I wound up with a good vocabulary, which humbled bullies very nicely.

Normal isn't a word usually used to describe me. XD

Some days I can brush it off. Other days, I just wonder why the human race was invented. lol. Kinda sad, but it just bugs that people want to give you crap just because you choose to be alone.

Nice! Gotta love modern convenience!

Not yet. I've got every intention of it, though!

YunieXTidus on June 12, 2011, 3:11:40 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol I understand.

I wound up with a good vocabulary, but I was so sensitive it didn't matter; I just started crying. xD

Lol me, either, but it'll do.

Yeah, the human race as a whole can be pretty brutal sometimes.

Yes, I love it!

I can't wait to hear your reaction. xD It's pretty juicy.

I may have to call it quits for tonight soon. My eyelids are becoming traced with lead. lol.

Whatcha up to this evening? Well, dead of night, but... semantics.

nextguardianOh yeah! That would be a blast! Although I usually think (mostly) wholesome thoughts about her. She's not like Azami, who invites BDSM fantasies.
And is a certain doctor in your fantasy world. ;) He's cool.

I could think up how to make an ST episode out of it, lol. But something conventional? Perish the thought! XD

Just working on the ending of 'Mercenaries'. How about you?

YunieXTidusXD a doctor? Why, whatever could you mean? (Innocent look)

Lol it happens to the best of us. Nerds that we are.

nextguardianIt's ridiculous. Everything is cause for a lawsuit. I say, if they break in, I can do anything to incapacitate them, short of killing. If they have a gun on my family, then I'll do what I have to.

Why can't Texas be more like here! Man, it sucks!

Well, I've had plenty of time to think about it XD

Not take the guy seriously. No guy wants to be played with, like she's showing off for her friends. Being sweet and dating a shy guy to be nice is one thing; being malicious and playing a joke is another.

I like girls to be in good shape. I'm not saying model-ish or anything; frankly, I think I prefer 'cute' to outright 'hot'. But basically any girl in good shape who takes care of her appearance is good. Overdone makeup is a turn off. False eyelashes, big time turn off. To me, the girl just being who she is is best. It comes down to this: If I take the time to get to know someone, I want to really know them. I don't want to meet a front personality. I'm not out to date Sybil. If you're Lizzie Borden, tell me on the first date. Open, honest, playful, and in control of her world. I like that.

What about you? what instantly attracts you? Ditto with personalities. And your ideal first date? Now I'm curious :D

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 3:56:37 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol I've seen that movie!

Well, I'm attracted to a guy who doesn't take himself too seriously- I love to tease. On the other hand, I like having meaningful discussions, about religion, politics, whatever.

Physically, I usually lean toward taller, well-built guys, but I'm not set on that. It makes me feel all girly and protected. Although he -does- have to be taller than me by at least 3 inches. I like to look up into his eyes. A great smile and nice eyes are also good.

My perfect first date? Jeez... honestly, it would depend on his personality type and how we relate to one another. But just a day where we're both enjoying ourselves and each other, really. I'm not very picky.

Lol a skill I think is hot, but definitely not a dealbreaker... beatboxing. If the guy can beatbox well, its like a dream come true.

But for little things... there are lots of stupid little things that I won't compromise on. Like, he has to at least tolerate the kind of music I like. Same for tv shows. I don't object to changing it to something we both like, but I don't want him criticizing my favorite band or tv show. Lol that sounds so shallow, but I don't want to live long-term like that, you know?

That's all I can think of atm.

xD I'm itching to write my 18th century story already!!!! Grr for my computer being in the room where my dad is sleeping. There aren't any grounded plugs in the room I'm sleeping in, so I have to leave it out where my dad sleeps.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 4:06:40 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianlol, I've seen a few, too :)

That's awesome! Most guys will respond positively to that sort of thing. As long as you can take it as well as dish it out with the teasing.

Ah, here's where we differ. I don't mind if the girl is taller than me. I'm average height for a guy, so it's not likely.

Do you prefer a first date to be all about romance, or should it be more relaxed. Or, rather, do you want to plan every detail, or is it a 'let's meet here and see what happens' thing?

Okay, here's a good one: What if the guy is an anime/manga fan? Is that a turn off? Or maybe even a comic collector. They seem to get a bad rap. i'm curious because i sort of fall into that category.

No, no, that's good. Tolerance is the foundation of any relationship imho. I'd love it if my girl had the same political views and whatnot as me, but if not, that's cool. Just quit crapping on George Bush already!

Whne I was out of town, I didn't bring my laptop, so I couldn't write at all. I was mortified at first, lol. But I wound up studying Japanese for 2-3 hours every night and got a lot better at it.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 4:15:04 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusOh, I'm pretty good natured about teasing. Lol.

Well, I'd love a mesh of the two, really. xD like, "let's do this and see what happens, then go somewhere quieter (like a walk trough the park or a movie, maybe) and see what happens, too." Lol I'm not even sure.

No, that isn't bad. Lol I'm one too. I know girls who sneer at anime/manga, but I know a surprising amount of girls who are into it and are dying for someone to discuss it with. I'd love it, cause I really get Into my anime and manga when I get into it. Lol.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 4:25:38 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianFor me, the worst is teasing about something one day, then the next it's a reason to fight.

I like solitude on a date. I'm super self-conscious. It's just easier if it's like we're the only two people in the world at that point. No distractions (though I'm sure that could bite me on the butt when conversation dies out).

I always tended to think of manga as a guy thing. Probably because there is never a manga where a girl stays clothed the whole time, lol. Even the most tame manga has at least a panty flash in it. Then again, I always figured on girls being up-tight and proper when I was younger, thanks to the private school I went to. I had no idea girls could be rebellious. Maybe that's why I drool all over them when they are. lol.
Hey, is the 'rebel guy' thing still the big thing? Someone told me that I was two decades too late with my 80's loner thing. lmao.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 4:30:51 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThat's a nice thought. I don't really mind if we're in a noisy place, say, an amusement lark, because it's easy to tune the extra stuff out and just focus on him.

Lol every girl loves a bad-boy. Personally, I'm a sucker for motorcycles. It's the perfect mode of transportation- it practically forces body contact!

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 4:40:04 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianOn the one hand, the distraction is good. Conversation fodder. But I always feel like an idiot when I do anything with other people around. Especially if I don't know the girl well enough yet, I don't want to be worried about looking stupid in front of anyone else but her XD

That's a good idea! I'd imagine horses are up there, too. I haven't worked my way up to understanding that girls are things you can touch, so bear with me. lmao, I'm lame in a charming way.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 4:44:46 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusOoh, yes. Horses! I do love me a cowboy. The western bad-boy, with that country twang to die for, and a wicked smile that majesty your knees weak. Although of course, he has to be literate, to go with the twang. xD

Yes, it is kind of charming. XD

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 4:48:38 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI don't mind so much how a girl sounds, as long as I can understand. Swearing constantly is a turn off. But I love it when a girl will comment about her own body/clothes, or even mine. It's funny to hear 'Damnit, these panties are riding up', or for her to look over casually and go 'boxers or briefs today?'.

If you're into 'lame', it is. lol.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 4:55:53 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol I don't mind either, but I freely admit I have a colossal weakness for British accents and a slight, but noticeable country twang.

I'm also susceptible to Shakespearean prose, as I call it... aka 18th century English speak.

Lmao I've been known to do both. How would you respond to her comment about her underwear?

God I'm dying, not being able to start on this story!!!

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 5:02:30 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianI like a slightly deeper voice. I'm not a fan of minnie mouse voices.

Ah, 'tis romantic to be certain, m'lady. Ist this what thoust prefereth?

Good question. Knowing me, with a blush and an honest reply. lol.

I know what you mean.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 5:09:32 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusI have a soprano-alto voice. Kind of in the middle. xD

'Tis indeed, your lordship. It doth speak of courtesies and manners long forgotten, and brings a quickening to mine pulse.

xD I freely admit that my heart gave a little stutter when I read that.

Lol. Another thing- I like there to be balance. On the one hand, I don't want to be calling all the shots 100% of the time. On the other, I don't want to be tagging along in his shadow all the time, either

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 5:11:27 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianAs long as it isn't high, you're good. lol.

I'm not so good with it, sadly. I'm not quite as well read as, say, Beast from X-men. (Though I DO read more than manga and comics. I love history!)

I'd prefer the girl to call the shots, at least early on. Less chance of me making a mistake. Once I know her better, then a balance is good.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 5:19:15 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol nope, not high.

xD Shakespearean prose is my second language. I've had one long conversation, all day, with a friend in shakespearean prose. Needless to say, I also had a thing for him. xD

I love history, too. Although I get increasingly bored the closer we get to our time. I prefer learning about ancient civilizations, or the renaissance in England and France. Beowulf is a cool piece of literature with a lot of history attached to it.

Yeah. I think I'd enjoy that challenge, taking the lead when a guy's too shy. It's not something I do easily, but I don't mind it.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 5:28:40 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianIt's amazing that you could do that imho.

I used to study hieroglyphics. I could even read and write them for a while. But that was when I was younger. I was fascinated with Egypt. Dinosaurs, too. I was going to be a palentologist for a quite a few years.

I think if you like someone enough, you can probably adapt to just about anything with some effort. I'd like to think I could. But I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with taking the lead later on. Especially when it's time to get physical. Cause them I'm like 'wow, can I really do that?!' lol.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 5:33:09 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol well, I've read Shakespeare. A lot. Like, a lot, a lot.

Lol I don't blame you. Although I'm sure after things had been physical for a while, you'd feel comfortable enough to at least initiate it. xD. It's just something that comes with time, and experience.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 5:35:50 PM

nextguardianI was never much of a play person. But I loved mythology, and if you read the traditional translations, the wording is similar. I loved the Odyssey, though.

I don't know. Maybe I'd be like a kid in a candy store after the first taste, but I'm paranoid about being disrespectul. That's the hardest part is to know what to do when.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 5:41:09 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusGosh, I love plays! A Midsummer Night's Dream is my fave of ol' Shakey.

Lol I understand your sentiment. But once the initial awkwardness fades, and you both get used to being allowed to touch one another, I think loud be surprised. Lol when you say things like this, I can't help but think we'd be a good pair. I know what to do (basically), I just haven't got much practice. You gave no idea whatsoever, and need thorough firsthand education. xD

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 5:44:39 PM

YunieXTidusNope, just chillin. I finally finished that star trek book I told you about, and then I had to go find part 2 and 3. Hastings in town had 3 but not 2, so I had to buy it online. It's now waiting for me on my kindle. I love modern technology. =3

I can't wait!

Seriously though. If what I wrote made you blush furiously, this may put you into cardiac arrest. It's definitely worth the read though, if just for the smut. XD

nextguardianI had that same issue with Star Trek Voyager: String Theory. It drove me nuts because I didn't have my Ereader when I started it! Technology rocks!

I'm going to have to attempt to draw these two. I don't want to say more, but they're both based on girls from another series I've read and loved.

lol, well, I could do with a good read. I'm really working blind on this, aside from other people's fics and the odd, usually low-budget torture scene vid. Problem is, torture is torture and BDSM is BDSM. Not totally compatible.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 1:44:17 PM

Maybe so, but this is different. Something I'd never even considered for Yuji before. Given how I treat him, you know it's really rotten. lol.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 1:51:49 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusYes, you horrible man. Treating Yuji so badly.

Lol I was actually flirting, but I heard it make a whooshing sound as it went right over your head. ;)

So, first I want you to Wikipedia 'the Tudors.' Then I want to tell you an idea that has been bouncing around in my head for the past 5 minutes, ever since I finished my 18th century romance novel.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 1:59:02 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianBut where would we be if I was nice to him? He'd have everything, and there'd be nothing left to write about!

See, this is why I'm the guy who goes home alone. Stupidity like that, lol. Although I figured it was revenge for not telling you about Yuji's latest love interest(s). D'oh. Um...
So, guess what I'm wearing right now? No, crap, that only works when the girl says it...

Wikipediaing now. What's on your mind?

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 2:06:55 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol fair enough. Although it would be an interesting one-shot. "Lucky Stars," or something? xD

Oh, no, it works for women, too. At least, it piques my interest. Sooo. What ARE you wearing? ;)

Well, I was thinking... what if Amelia Collins was the daughter of a rich nobleman visiting in king Henry's court? What if she caught his eye, during his streak of 'abstinence' while his current wife Ann Boylen (sp.) was with child? What if he actually falls in love with her? Can an untried maiden tame the heart of a selfish tyrant?

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 2:12:15 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianHey, that might work. Of course, I'll have to ruin it by making it a dream or something XD

Just a pair of shorts. I was just lifting weights, so my muscles are bulging and I'm still wet from my shower. I'm also not wearing any underwear 00' (I KNOW that one only works for girls XD)

Two words and a contraction:
I'd read it.

Seriously. Write it, write it, write it!

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 2:18:03 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol I think you've done that one.

Lol your shyness is so adorable. And actually, no, that also works on girls. We just like to okay hard to get. Well, I've got a t-shirt and underwear on, as well as my bedsheet.

XD was any of that true?

Lmao I think I shall!

nextguardianOh yeah. Hmm. I've also had it be a genjutsu. I'll have to think really hard about how I can ruin him...XD

Okay, don't tell me, I'll get this. Uh...what kind of underwear? Did I get it right? lol.

lol, actually, all of it. Except for the shower part. And I'm technically not done with my workout. But everything else was.

Please do!
Hmm..you know, I bet you could have that be a holodeck program of Amy's, too.

Okay, I had a scene written for Yuji. Be honest: Is it 'cute' if a guy has a hell of a tying undoing a bra? (obviously, he's not wearing it, before you ask me that. lol)

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 2:32:52 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidus(Applause from the peanut gallery) Good job! Do you actually want me to tell you, or is that too much for you? ;))

Hmm, I suppose I could make references to it. That's not a bad idea.

Lol I personally think it's the cutest thing ever. If you're in a frenzy trying to rip each others clothes off, it could be a bit of a moodkiller. But since it's Yuji... he's so adorable, she'd just add another point under his 'so shy it's cute' factor. I've got to see this.

nextguardianWhat the hell. I've gotten this far. Go ahead; I'm curious XD

I think it would be a cool touch to her personality, really. And later on, maybe a certain doctor could join her...

I admit that I dread that happening to me at some point. lmao. But it suits Yuji (and me, sadly). You'll be seeing it in the future, lol.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 2:42:12 PM

YunieXTidusSilver and white polka dot, low-rise bikini cut, with grey lace around the top. I had a matching bra today, but...

It would. Hmm, I think he may get jealous of her little tryst with king Henry. Although it would be interesting to see Julian's reaction to seeing her all dolled up forth 18th century court of England.

Hey, don't stress too much. It really is cute. Although you could always borrow a bra somehow and practice. Like, have it on one of those clothes mannequins from Walmart or something? Just practice different kinda of bras until you have the hang of it. xD

nextguardianOoh, hot! Wish I was there to see it. XD

Sounds like a good storyline to me. I could see him reprogramming it so he's on the business end of the tryst, lol. Super genius that he is, I'm sure it would occur to him. :D

I'm not sure which would be more pathetic. Praciticing or not being able to do it in the head of the moment. lmao.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 2:52:29 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusJust to see? How dull. (Unsatisfied sigh)

Lol I don't think Julian could play off being a two-timing tyrant (forgive the unintentional alliteration(sp?) ) very well. He's too good-hearted for that. xD

Lmao that's a good question. It really isn't as hard as it looks. You use your thumb and index finger to grab the part of the clasp on the top and pull it up and to the left while you pull the bottom part down and to the right.

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 2:57:38 PM

nextguardianHey, you aren't 18 yet. No matter how tempting you are XD Let's have this converation again after your birthday! lol.

I don't know...if you want something or someone bad enough...
Someone needs to invent the holodeck. STAT!

It sounds simple enough...(taking notes). But in the throes of passion, I'd imagine it's more difficult. And I maintain that there is no way in hell to get that thing off a girl one-handed!

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 3:02:35 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidus(Satisfied smirk) You flatter me, sir. Although I must say, I'm legal in my state. ;)

I know right?!!!

xD even I have trouble with that. You have to really concentrate on that one. Lol. Any more 'how to' questions?

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 3:04:51 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianDamn, really? I live in the wrong place, lol!

We've got enough Ipads and crap to last a lifetime. Build a holodeck!

lol, let me think about it. Ask me something, so I don't feel useless! lol.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 3:09:18 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol apparently so!

xD I've wanted a holodeck for years.

Lol okay...

what's an attractive personality trait in a girl?

What's something aesthetic that immediately catches your eye?

What's something that a girl can do, (ex: beatboxing, kung fu, play the drums) that you think is hot, but not a necessity?

nextguardian on June 9, 2011, 3:15:33 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianWhere I live is the worst. You can't even say 'hey, you like nice' to a girl without it being sexual harassment.

Me, too! the fun I could have with that thing...

Oh, good questions!
Independence. A 'Daddy's girl' is generally a turn off for most guys.

I don't know if this counts, but I love that sort of darker eye shadow, I think it is. That Smokey-eyed look. For some reason, it's adds mystery to a girl, which is totally hot.

Martial arts, definitely. It's a built-in mechanism to stay in shape, it's easy to get someone else in to (a good joint activity), and for me personally, I just find it attractive to know that a girl can defend herself. I see it as a part of being independent, which is hot in and of itself. I was never a fan of the 'rescue the princess' story; I liked it better when the girl kicks the dragon's @$$ while the guy beats the evil king.

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 3:20:55 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol yikes. I live in Texas, so that sort of this is considered common courtesy. Texans are polite!

What's a turnoff for you (other than the 'daddy's girl')?

What's your ideal first date?

How do you know if a guy's interested, or just friendly?

nextguardianNever say never. Like I said, though, I think you'll meet your match soon enough :) No point in rushing these things.

Not too bad, thank you ^^

Quick question: Let's say Yuji were to meet someone besides Azami, Sakura, or any other regulars. How do you picture his ideal match?

YunieXTidus on June 9, 2011, 5:05:12 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThanks. ^^

xD Now THERE'S the multi-million dollar question. That's really hard to answer.

Maybe a blend of Sakura and Azami? Someone he feels comfortable around, obviously, or he'd get absolutely nowhere. She'd obviously have to be fine with wearing the pants in the relationship, calling the shots, or again... they'd get nowhere. Aside from that, I'm not sure. I'd love to see the one girl Yuji doesn't cower in fear from. xD

nextguardianTrue. And that really fits a guy like Yuji, actually. With his trust issues, if he found one person he trusted, he'd probably...yes. Sounds about right for him. Hopefully it'll work out nice and not just plain smutty. Your definition really helped, actually!

Oh, really? Sorry I was logged off before you replied. Everything okay?

YunieXTidusGlad I could help! ^^

Well, I'm better now that I've had time to sleep on it, but yeah... I'd been 'talking' to my guy friend, the same one I've mentioned several times in a negative light. Lol. Well, at first he just wanted to patch things up with me, as I was his last remaining opportunity from his past to make things right. But as it always is with him, he and I can never be 'just friends.' Things started taking a romantic turn. It's ironic actually. He's in a BDSM community. But yeah. I was struggling to fit us together, because I wanted so desperately for it to work. But over the past month I've been realizing more and more that trying to fit him and me together is trying to force two puzzle pieces together that were never meant to fit. Especially now that he's changed, and now that I have.

But my main thing last night was that on Friday night, I tried to talk to him for a bit, but he brushed me off to go hang out with some friends, saying "we'll talk later." The next morning, I texted him saying "I love you." And I haven't gotten a single text from him since then, in response to mine or otherwise. This really was the final of many straws that led me to make up my mind that he and I can really never work out. I'm looking for someone who enjoys giving and receiving affection, as well as a guy who isn't afraid to tell me how he feels more than once a year. He's not even willing to commit to a relationship, much less a monogamous one. I can't be with someone like that.

nextguardianNow I just need to apply your advice correctly. But because he's finally getting the girl, I'm going to have to make her really, really mean. lol.

Yeow. Well, in a backhand way, this may be a healthy thing, I guess. God, I don't even have any good advice or input. Except for maybe the fact that most guys have no idea how to react to 'I love you'. Not knowing the guy, I couldn't say much, but I'd imagine that's part of the hold up.

Either way, though, chin up and wade through it, I guess. It will get better. That much I am certain of. It's only a matter of time before someone worthy of you notices your charms in a big way :)

Oh, here. I feel stupid (and even a bit rotten) brining this up now, but you asked me to let you know when I posted that Shana fic. I got that up, plus one other older fic. That one is about Ikki Tousen. No rush to read them; you've got a lot on your mind. Just wanted to follow through and let you know when I posted Shana, as requested :)

YunieXTidusI appreciate that. I know, someday.... it just kinda cuts deep because he and I have so much history, and its hard to give that up.

Lol don't feel rotten! Or stupid, for that matter. I'm feeling better about it today. And I was actually reading the Haruhi/Shana when you sent that!

Ikki Tousen... why is that familiar?

Ah, I haven't read Negima yet, but it looks fun. I'll take a look.

nextguardian on June 8, 2011, 6:36:43 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianIt's an opportunity to make a better next chapter in a book that will one day be filled with history. But I do understand. I've lost a few friends in my time, though it wasn't a case of romantic interest. Either way, you've got my sympathy, and if you need to talk it out, I'm here if you need a friendly ear (or eyeball, seeing as this isn't really a matter of listening).

Well, in that case- enjoy!

Well, Azami is similar in looks to one of the girls from Ikki Tousen. Maybe I've mentioned it before? It's your typical shonen fare- fights, clothes getting ripped off, etc. But it's based on the classic 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms'.

Hope you like it. It's not my usual style, but I found it amusing to write. ^^

YunieXTidus on June 8, 2011, 6:43:49 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusI really appreciate that. The friend who I usually talk these sort of things out with is in a lot of emotional pain right now, and I don't want to burden him anymore than necessary. It also complicates things when I have feelings for him. It would feel weird, talking to someone I have feelings for about someone I have feelings for.

I'm enjoying the Shana so far. I'll need to get back into both of those.

nextguardian on June 8, 2011, 6:48:23 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianYeah, I can see where that might be awkward. Well, hopefully I can be of help, then. ^^ I do want to say that you seem to be handling this maturely. More power to you there!

I'm glad! Kyon (the narrator/semi-star) and I are pretty similar, so it's easy to write as him ^^ And if you look close, you'll see that this Yuji was sort of a precursor to 'Serving's' Yuji.

YunieXTidus on June 8, 2011, 6:53:07 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThanks. It's taken a long time for me to acquire the viewpoint I have about relationships.

I love his attitude. And I really love the way you write it in his thought processes. Poor Yuji. Fated to a life of fear of girls, right from the very beginning.

nextguardian on June 8, 2011, 7:01:43 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianYou've got a good, productive attitude. More power to you for getting back on the horse, so to speak. That takes guts.

lol, thanks. I tried to write it true to the light novels, aand I think it worked. Any favorite parts? I admit- mine was Shana's big stomp entry, and how Haruhi just randomnly looks down Yuji's pants XD Quite a roll reversal there.

YunieXTidus on June 8, 2011, 7:11:21 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThanks. It's hard sometimes, but I need to quit looking back, wondering "what if."

I quite liked the bit where she looked down his pants. So random. so funny. xD

nextguardian on June 8, 2011, 7:17:24 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianThat's exactly it. And you know what, you tried. Which is more than I did with my first love. At least you don't have that weighing you down. An honest effort is always worthwhile.

lol, poor Yuji/Kojiro. The first girl to glimpse him 'down there' is disappointed. lmao.

YunieXTidus on June 8, 2011, 7:24:34 AM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusThis time, I really did try. I gave it my all. And following this road to its conclusion was really the only way for me to get closure on this, I think. I didn't want to regret anything, not saying something or doing something. I don't have that regret, because I put all my cards on the table, straight up. And I feel a sense of relief, and closure, knowing for certain that he and I aren't compatible. Which I never did in any other of our breakups.

Lol maybe Haruhi has unrealistic expectations.

nextguardian on June 8, 2011, 7:34:59 AM

nextguardian on
nextguardianWith certainty lies comfort. I say it's brave to ride it out to the final conclusion. I think you made the right choice.

I'm curious about what her expecations are, lol. Poor Kojiro. It's only been chapter one, and he's been knocked around by both crushes. Lol!

Well, I've got to go for now, but I'll be on later at the usual time. Hang tough, okay?

nextguardianI wasn't sure if the reference was too blatant, or somehow distasteful. I wanted the fic to be edgy, but not offensive, you know?
That, and I wanted it to indicate what he *thinks* his position in the relationship is, and that he's okay with it. Odd, but it seemed important for some reason.

YunieXTidus on June 6, 2011, 3:54:43 PM

nextguardianI'm glad :) I am having so much fun with Yuji being the bad guy, with an open sexual attraction, and with an outlet for his anger. He's normally so restrained that this is actually liberating to write, lol.

I'm just wondering what Azami will do to him next. It needs to be good, but shy of graphic. Hmm.

YunieXTidus on June 6, 2011, 4:02:24 PM

YunieXTidus on
YunieXTidusLol well, you could make it tastefully graphic? Everyone loves a bit oof romantic smut.

YunieXTidus on June 6, 2011, 4:11:06 PM

YunieXTidusDamn it! (Throws stupid phone against wall) I didn't mean to do that.

nextguardian on June 6, 2011, 4:12:37 PM

nextguardian on
nextguardianThat might not be a bad idea. Let me see what I can throw around first, though. I'm thinking that it will just be the straight-up whip and collar stuff, minus the interrogation this time, followed by a good bit of tenderness and 'I love you' crap, then one last cruel bit of humilation.

YunieXTidus on June 7, 2011, 7:35:12 AM
