Well, more power to her, then. Hopefully someone will offer constructive criticism. I don't know, maybe it's dishonest, but you could always create a fake account, comment honestly without holding back while being constructive...
Let me know when you're done with Generations. That movie gave me ideas for our co-op fic :)
Sure, in a few mins, actually!

Okay, here's my idea: Bashir and Holmes are on a runabout, going to offer aid to a planet in the Gamma Quardrant. On the way there, they're struck by an energy ribbon drawn to them by the takyon particles given off by the wormhole. They wind up in the Nexus. Holmes recalls Picard's report on the Nexus, and because he knows what to do, he stays calm, analyzes the Nexus scientifically, and enjoys a few fantasies. Some with Dax, but he wishes to see Picard, Kirk, and Soran fight it out to save the Veridian system. There he encounters the 'echo' of Soran, who injures him while putting them both in a hellish scenario from which Holmes must escape. Soran's been in the Nexus longer, so he's more skilled with using it. Holmes 'wishes' himself to Bashir, where they manage to fend off Soran's echo and escape back to the point before they encountered the Nexus.
And obviously, Bashir could have a fantasy or two about Amy.
What do you think?
Oh- I updated 'Serving'. Enjoy!

I was thinking we could also do something with the Borg. Like, a leftover Borg from a destroyed collective arrives on DS9 in secrecy, and tries to assimilate the station, or something. I was thinking that like, Amy gets infected with the Borg nanites, and Bashir has to rush against time to save her. Any thoughts?

Hold your horses, I haven't seen it yet!
Also, I was wondering how to tie up things with the Odyssey while tying into your next chapter. I was thinking about having her report to sisko's office, and keogh would be there too, and she'd have to brief them both about what happened. Then keogh leaves with his casualties (or has to stay for a few days til the criticals recover) and sisko welcomes her to DS9.

A friend of mine told me that the only way he could get this girl he liked to date him was by fulfilling her demand-try on her underwear. I told the guy he was an idiot for doing it. (The jerk was the type who could have been with any girl who was not making demands, but wanted the one girl he 'couldn't' have)
I have no idea what to say to that. I mean, I joked about it in my mercenaries fic because it fit Azami, but wow.

lol, well, I was going to throw out a scenario and let you fill in the blanks.
Yuji is in the hot spring, relaxing in the buff, when (Azami)(Sakura)(Other) walks in. And...
Then it becomes a romance fic of your design :) Basically, I'd like to be surprised by what happens.
No pressure to take such an RQ, of course. I'm just tired of knowing the ending to Yuji's romances. (or lack thereof)

I think it's one of those things that will only make complete sense to me. If I could make a movie of it, it might work. Visual interpretation is key. But mostly, he seems like an insane doctor. Not that that isn't scary, but it wasn't what I was aiming for.
I had a good excuse- I was watching Star Trek! The episode where Data creates...I can't spell the name, so- his daughter.

Oh, she does. I hated the 'Captain, I sense something strange, but I can't tell you what it is' thing. That would drive me nuts if I was Picard, lol.
Ah, very nice. For some reason, national anthems always stick with me.
Oh, nice! lol. Tell me, would you take that sort of thing as an insult ordinarilly?

Not to get all Data on you, but like him, I don't quite grasp certain aspects of humanity; specifically male/female relationships. I'm...uncertain if I was not sexually involved with said female if I could suggest buying intimate garments without being worried that she would be offended.
Okay, so I DID Data-up my language a bit, but the concept remains the same :)

Lol well, unless you are or are planning to get physically intimate with her, or you're best friends and talk about sexual stuff on a daily basis, I suggest not. It would be super awkward. The guy is a friend that I flirt with a lot, and who knows? We may end up being physically intimate at some point. ;P

See, it's different for a guy. Any gift of any kind is immediately dissected. What is the true meaning behind it? If it's not his style, it's 'Am I not dressing the right way for her?'. If it's downright ugly, it's 'crap, how can I get out of wearing this without offending her.' There's no such thing as 'just a gift'. Everything gets psychoanalyzed.
WeEll...okay, why not. I'll admit I'm curious. (sigh) I am only human, after all. Share away!

Oh, absolutely. Only the most thoughtless jackass would ignore that thought process. Clothes and jewelry are terrifying to men. There is no right answer. They're 'loaded gifts' so to speak. Ditto with any book that contains any vague idea of 'changing us'.
Also, it's true: When you say 'Be honest. Does this make my butt look big?', our reaction will be assure you it does not, true or false. The commercials nailed that one.
Tasteful; very cute. Certainly titillating .
Okay, juvenile pun aside, very nice :) Maybe I'll get some ideas...for character development, you understand! (Clears throat).

Character development, of course! (looks around, embarrassed) I mean, what other kinds of ideas would you be getting?
Although honestly, I can't see myself wearing those on a regular basis. I mean, if stuff's gonna happen, it's probably not going to be planned. If that makes any sense at all.

Okay. You be Bashir, with your British phrases and whatnot!
Holmes: What the hell has that girl got against me? Any idea, Doctor?
It's precisely that killer instinct that makes you females so terrifying! XD
Yuji as a bad guy...I honestly never thought I would do that.
I agree with you. Her clothes are one of the inspirations for how I picture Azami. Although Azami is usually more...dominatrix-y.

And considering that the only difference is red vs blue, I'm inclined to think that either she feels very strongly about blue as her favorite color, or there's something about the red she objects to...(leans forward) I can guess is you'd rather not tell me outright...

Oh, sure. I got it for when Azami was torturing Yuji. I wanted to know what I was really writing about. That's why it's so realistic. Except I couldn't find an Azami to my Yuji. Whipping yourself just holds no satisfaction compared to the real thing...

Bashir: Well... talk to her for a bit, get her conversation juices flowing, then say something like, "Say, Jadzia, do you have plans for dinner tonight?" The rest should fall into place. If she says no, that doesn't necessarily mean she's not interested. Keep that in mind. Just try again some other time.

Bashir: You should be honest at least with yourself, Amy. You didn't like Ensign Holmes for some reason. He was perfectly polite from what I heard, so either he made a vulgar gesture...(stands up, holding a hypospray out to her)
Or you have some reason to instantly dislike him for a reason known only to you.
I can't believe it didn't occur to me until just now! Now THAT has possibilities for both OC's!
Oh- I updated 'Mercenaries'. Enjoy!

Bashir: Oh, just a little. He certainly got your message. What IS it, exactly, that made you not like him so quickly, if I may ask?
We could do something like "okay, Amy knows she doesn't like Holmes. Holmes gets that. He realizes who her father is, and sort of wonders if she's a spoiled daddy's girl. She assumes that's what he thinks" We would just need to cook up instances where they speak to someone about each other. (Bashir, I think, would do best).

Bashir: (gentle smile) I'm not buying it. That outlike is fine, but the way you reacted to Ensign Holmes indicates a personal dislike. It goes deeper than a stereotype, and I think you know that.
No way, nuh-uh! XD
I've got to admit, maybe I'm doubting myself too much, but I'm worried about the direction I'm giving Yuji in Mercenaries. Not so much this chapter but the next one.

No way, no how, uh-uh.
I think it'll be apparent by the end of this chapter. I've been dying to tell you about this for a while, but I wanted to get it up first ^^ It's just, now that I've finally done it, I'm concerned. lol, low self esteem.

Ah, don't worry about it. If anyone should feel guilt, I should. Look what I've done to him.

Oh just a bit (sounding very casually nervous, lol)
Glad you're enjoying yourself XD
I meant to say 'only up until 2:25' --' But the guy with the sunglasses was who I wanted to model Yuji after in a way. You can see it in his new clothes, for example.
Which girl, btw? The blond, the one with the gun, or the one with who gets stabbed? I'm truly sorry about the grossout factor. I'm so used to that movie I didn't even think of it.

Ah, that'll do it. I love the hellhounds, though! See, I originally pictured Naruto and Sakura taking on Yuji. Just replace The guy and the girl with the guns with those two, and Yuji with Wesker. But I don't think I'll do that, because Sakura would feel sympathy, and she would tell Naruto. So maybe Kakashi and Gai vs Yuji like that or something.

Lol Bashir's making ME think as much as he's making Amy!

Lol I bet you are. All this attention from a member of the opposite sex! Who woulda thought? ;p
Now THAT would be a fight I'd pay money to see.

Holmes: Excuse me, Ensign. Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting the impression you don't like me...
I do: Kejal. It means 'Freedom'. For our purposes, that can mean 'freedom from dependence on the Federation for Bajor's stability', making it a politcal message as well as a name. Odo would know that word, so maybe he can coin the name.
Well, I've got to go for the night. Early morning tomorrow. Blagh. But what can you do? ttyl friend! :)

Also, just some minor (if not amusing) errors. xD
His laughter failed pretty quickly when he saw who was on the other side. - You could rephrase this as 'The smile died on his face when...' It just doesn't flow quite right. Minor, though.
Quirk seemed a little taken aback, - Quirk? xD
Turning his back on Sisko, leaving the Commander with his index finger raised and his mouth open, ready to start telling the Ferengi off, Quark faced Holmes again, a greedy grin spreading across his wide face. - This is one LONG, structurally confusing sentence. xD
So much for my quiet entry to Deep Space Nine. he mused- might want a comma after nine, instead of a period.

I was thinking about it, and I just couldn't decide if it worked out right. I don't think I rushed it, but I'm not sure it had the effect of 'okay, the audience knows it's coming, but it'll still be surprising'.
That would drive me absolutely insane.

Oh, good :) VLC media player usually works well, too.
I was thinking about where we could eventually go with this Bajoran terrorist group. That could lead into the episode I mentioned before about Kira and Amy on Bajor, stranded and trying to escape from within, while Sisko and Holmes try to get them out from above in a runabout. The terroists could be holding them hostage because they needed Kira for politcally leverage, and Amy to treat their wounded.

Feel free to control Holmes for him and Amy to meet, btw.
If you don't mind a suggestion, I would say that having Odo conduct an investigation between the attack on the Odyseey and the runabout sabotage would tie the two stories together. Odo could then group all of the people involved together. Holmes mentions Dugan (Or 'Do Gun', if you prefer XD), and from there Odo gets his man (however related) after one more major act of sabotage.

Okay, how about we eliminate the mystery. The Bajoran terrorists hail all ships in the area and threaten to destroy them if their demands are not met. That gives a name and face- Odo just has to find the operatives on the station, while the Odyssey and two runabouts fight the terrorists. Or something like that.

lmao, nice. So, how about this:
(starting from the end of my chapter)
(Bashir and Amy are in sick bay, treating Sisco and O'Brien)
Holmes: ...And that's what happened. I guess I'd better hurry up and get my command codes.
Amy: (Great, another command-track super-jock. Word is he's the one who stopped the Bajorans the first time. Bet he's got an ego the size of a ((British comparison here))
Holmes: (Sees Amy) I don't think I've met you yet. I'm Ensign Daniel Holmes (speaking formally)
I think it actually makes more sense this way. If they're brazen enough to attack a ship like the Odyssey, then they're probably not shy about their identities.

I liked the little back and forth between Amy and Bell. It was a nice touch. Oh, and Amy telling the dying woman that she would be fine. I thought that illustrated the rougher end of her career path nicely.
And go Bashir!
The only thing I would comment on to change is that it should be U.S.S. Odyssey. You just need that one more S in there.
