Well, right now I just got past where I was blocked before. Keogh took her to her quarters, and now she's in sickbay. The chief medical officer feels put-upon, having to babysit some admiral's daughter for the captain. Soon after that, it'll skip to her finally being about to leave when the bejoran rebels show up.

(Gulp) See, this is why I'm a bad agent! XD
lol, okay, my mistake. Seriously, re-read your comment and see how you take it! (Don't mind me- I'm in a goofy mood tonight)
Bashir was good in that role. Really a brilliant actor. Kira made me lol. She's always stuck in these sexy roles when she acts violent most of the time.
Nerd Dax- yes, hot. Very. XD

*straightens your tie for you, letting her fingers wander over the collar of your suitjacket* So, how's the whole secret agent thing going for you, again?
xD After watching that episode, I am too. And yes, now that I read it... that can be misconstrued. xDD
Kira was downright sinful in that nightgown. Those big, dark eyes... It's like you could just fall into them and not be found for months.

lmao. Just lmao. If I say take off your glasses and toss your hair...XD
Okay, let's see if you catch this one:
A female aquaintance of mine asked me 'do you believe men and women can be friends without having sex'. I raised my eyebrow a bit- it was an odd question to ask. That in mind, I shrugged and said 'Sure. You haven't slept with me yet.' She laughs and says 'Oh, well, you know, I don't consider you a threat. You're a good guy.'
She still can't figure out why I walked away shaking my head. lol. I don't know why I thought of that just now (it happened some time ago), but it made me lol.
Okay, so I am officially absolved of any wrongdoing there. Good.
XD
I was impressed that she pulled off that accent as well as she did. She's a good actress (whom I admit, I hated at first).

xD Poor you. Good guys are always left in the friend zone.
Well, I'm sure I can find SOMETHING to blame you for!
The accent was incredibly believable. My brother also does a fantastic Russian accent.
Thanks. I should have it done in an hour or so...? xD

I couldn't believe that. Haven't seen that girl in years. Maybe I was more offended than I thought XD (No, different seperate ways after high school, really, but that's less dramatic)
Oh sure, please do!
She played the roll well on all counts, for sure ^^
Awesome!

It's hilarious in retrospect. I should have shown her and totally hit on her! lmao.
Oh yeah, THAT is my fault! That's about the one thing you CAN'T blame me for! XD
You know, I never had a problem with spelling until recently. Now, forget it. I think it has something to do with learning a second language. I'm writing a very interesting mix of Japanese and English these days. It's probably reflected in my grammer and spelling, too.

Hey, sorry -I- missed you last night. I'd had a terrible day yesterday, and made a hasty retreat to my grandmother's house to avoid a mental breakdown. I'll definitely get that up when I get home! I can try to add somethig to it. Can you just draw a rough sketch so I have an idea of what you wanted?

Well, my friend (i've mentioned him before) has been going through some extreme depression because of stuff dealing with his ex girlfriend. Like the good friend I am, I'm there for him. But, when he gets depressed like this (over a girl, specifically) he deals with it through sex. So all day on Friday, he was soliciting me (pretty much) for sex. I was humoring him for the most part. Saving you graphic details, I basically said that if he came down this (now past) weekend or next week, I'd do it with him. (Which is no small thing. I don't take that sort of stuff lightly) Right as school was getting out, he asked me if I was home yet. I was like, "one track mind, much?" His response was, "no that was a general question. Let's just say someone else took care of me."
So, at this point, I'm pretty upset. And then when he said "sorry if you're feeling slighted, she offered." That was kind of the snapping point. How could I NOT feel slighted? I don't offer that to every single one of my guy friends going through a rough patch. I thought he knew me better than that. I would never offer something like that to someone I didn't care a great deal for. And he's confused as to why I'm mad.

I can't honestly think of a word to describe that sort of behavior. That's the absolute height of...well, any number of words that I really don't need to type. I don't know how you put up with it. Friend or no, I would definitely call him on that sort of behavior. That's not like lending someone a cup of sugar or something. (shakes head) That's crap, pure and simple.

I put up with it because I'm in love with the guy. xD Have you ever had such a close bond with someone that when they were feeling pain, emotional or physical, you felt it too? I thought that was just stuff in romance novels or something. But no. When I realized how deep he was hurting, it made me physically ill. My heart ached for him so badly. And me, I'm stupid. I'm the sort of person who would do anything to comfort that person of import.
But yeah. I haven't spoken to him since Friday afternoon. I'm going to see how long it takes for him to message me back with an apology of some sort.

That's not being stupid. That's being loyal- a concept clearly foreign to this gentleman. He is unaware that he has a quality girl right there, waiting for him. That makes him the stupid one. Your loyalty will be an asset someday, even if it seems like a curse at the moment.
Good luck. It will probably be a while. I just hope that he'll actually mean the apology. An apology spoken without conviction is no apology at all.

Well, I don't think it would matter if he knew. He's almost 10 years older than me. He's kind of ehhhhhhhh about that when it comes to dating. Friends-with-benefits, now that's okay. But a real relationship... Nah. -_-
I might end up having to explain to him why I'm upset. He's pretty dense sometimes. I'm not even sure how to start that conversation. "Hey, you were a douchebag on Friday."

Well, what do you want out of it? Are you fine with that situation, or are you looking for something else? It's not selfish to think that way. If your needs don't match, then that frees you up to find what you really are looking for. Be honest with yourself first, and then with him second. It's yourself to whom you owe loyalty.
lmao, that's how I would bring it up! I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but that last line got me.
I would just be blunt. "You know, I offer you a favor like that and you pull this s***?"

Well... If he were offering a relationship, I would go for it in a heartbeat. He's (almost) everything I wanted in a guy. Well, except for sensitivity and non-selfishness, even when he's down. But he doesn't want a relationship like that, so I'll settle for what I can get. He's my closest friend. I couldn't bear not having him in my life in one form or another.
xD I meant for it to be funny.
Yeah, that's probably what I'll have to end up doing. If he doesn't message me by Tuesday night... -_- Then he's dumb, and he's in for an earful.
Also, I'm working on my pilot. ;)

Hmm, okay. How about this:
-Amy is in her quarters, leaves for her duty shift early, meets the doctor, and they don't get along. Sort of a 'you're here becauyse the captain wants you here, so stay out of the way' dynamic.
-The 'big incident', whatever you decided it will be, comes along after the doctor is mean to Amy. She jumps in and helps.
-Big medical accident on the bridge. Amy rushes up, does her thing to save someone (maybe Executive Officer?).
-Welcome to DS9!

I hate Justin Timberlake. I want Olivia Wilde! XD (No, I don't really hate him. I'm just seething with a jealous rage XD. He just saw her first, that's all!)
Ohh, that's a good idea...
Hmm. fresh outta grenades. Just my luck. XD Nah, it's a stupid program, but I'll be done with it in 9 days!
Say, for our co-op fic, would you object to a guest star or two? I just read George Takei's book, and I worked out a scenario for 'Admiral Sulu' to show up. Plus I was thinking of having the Enterprise crew on the station at one point (That might be a good one for Amy. She could see what she's missing, maybe).

Lol I seethe with a jealous rage at every girl who's ever shared anything with JT... the screen, a studio... a bed? xD Mm. U-um, anyway... (cough cough)
Yes, that would be fine! I was also considering maybe after she'd been on the station long enough to make roots there, her dad would transfer her to the Enterprise, expecting her to be overjoyed and thrilled. But obviously, she isn't, because her home is on DS9.

lol, same here. Olivia was available, too. Oh well. Too bad Jeri Ryan and Terry Farrell are married. Why don't you divert Jesse Spencer so I can snag Jennifer Cameron? (Yeah, like I'd manage to even get a coherent phrase out!)
That's definitely a good storyline. We could even tease the end of the fic at that point. Or, heck, that COULD be the ending.

So we all have fantasies. I think the ironic thing for me is that I'm too immature for a relationship. But I'm mature enough to know I'm too immature? Pleh. Irony.
That's still a life! Now that work is done (thank God) for me, and school is almost done, there's really just looking for a new job. But I can't even do that until after the Star Trek convetion. Oh well, I'll live. I should probably enjoy my freetime now.

No, I'm pretty immature. I can't just date for fun. There's got to be the possibility of a relationship, and I'm just mentally set for that, I guess. I may be overthinking it, though. There's always that.
True. Maybe I'm putting it off because I hate making resumes. They always wind up reading so phony :(

I suppose you're right. There are so many different ways to categorize 'mature' or 'immature'. Bleh. I'll just go with my gut and date when it feels right.
I just hate tooting my own horn. Like "I have good skills at this and this and this, and heck, this, even though I've never done it before." It's like writing a thank you note for something you really aren't thankful for, I guess. It feels like deception.
S'okay :)

I have yet to actually meet Ezri. It's already pre-set I'm going to hate her at first, unfortunately. Oh well. I hated Kira at first too. Now she's hilarious! Though they must have changed writers during season four, because the episodes are laid out differently.
I'd like to be on it! XD Although I hope they don't go that route. Then it'll be come a teen drama and not be Star Trek anymore. I'd love to see Enterprise B and C more, before their destructions. Especially the destruction of C, defending Narendra 3. That would be sweet movie scene!

I actually really liked the YujiXIno pairing. Although I'm still a Sakura or Azami man myself. Or Dax, for that matter. XD
Oh, quick question: Which 'Yuji' have you liked best so far?
-'Insane' Yuji from the co-op fic
-'Original' Yuji from 'Serving'
-'TNK' Yuji from 'Serving'
-'Goth' Yuji from Serving/Sakura's Game

Just listening to music, waiting for my friend to get off work so he can call me. One of my absolute favorite songs of all time - I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. I used to listen to it at least once a day. Once I actually gain some sort of mastery over the guitar, I intend to put a cover of it on youtube. xD
Another one of my fave songs EVER... Hallelujah (originally by Leonard Cohen.) I'd have to say Imogen Heap's version of it just tears my heart out. It's such a beautiful song.

They really are cool weapons.
(Wide-eyed innocence) Nuh-uh. No idea.
Two Words:
Pulitzer. Prize.
:D
Space. The Final Frontier. These were SUPPOSED to be the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Her continuing mission: To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To bodly go where no man has gone before.
For Ensign Amy Collins, a medical officer, that was supposed to be how it went. Instead, she was assigned to Deep Space Nine in the far reaches of the Alpha Quardrant. Her new mission: To seek out her place in this odd metallic jungle. To boldy heal the oddest ailment from the Gamma Quadrant. To throw herself at her handsome boss and shun her hardline father.
(cue high-pitched TOS voice).

Jadzia doesn't scare me. I'll take you down, and if Dax gets in the way then so be it.
And lmao at the cheeseburgers.
My teacher read the first two lines and was like, "hmm, now where have I heard that before?" But he liked it. XD
So, looks like I'll be finishing the pilot within the next two weeks! Lol due dates are so motivating.

I have to say, after I get the pilot finished, I probably won't do anything substantial until school's over. My mind is running too hard to keep up with the 'OH MY GOD WHY ARE WE STILL IN SCHOOOOOOOL' stage, so by the time I get home, I'm braindead. xD This summer, I'll probably be able to step up my game though.

The dream with Dax...it was so weird, though, that my 'Spock' self is standing there watching all Vulcan-like (A couple buddies of mine call me Spock once in a while because I can be darned unreadable when I want to be), while my much cooler self makes the move.
Well, I write them down. Then I expand on them, without keeping the original idea in mind. So I might get good ideas, but they're unuseable because I forget what started them. lol.

Those are fun sometimes, too. One time, I was having Naruto dream. I was training with all of them, and (of course) was close to some romance with Sakura. Then, all of a sudden- they were all, like, seven years old, and I was babysitting them. Even in the dream, I'm going 'Wait, wait...she was 18 two seconds ago! (everyone was slightly older)'.
lol, that will be interesting. Provided my costume gets in order. I got the costume pattern a week ago- no %*(*ing instructions or fabric lists! And the guy is unreachable by email. And then two of my potential costume creators dropped out! Geez, what is this, the Kobayashi Maru of the covention set?

xD Nice.
I'd say it was made out of nylon. If I were in town, I'd totally love to go fabric shopping. My mom could fit you, and I'd make her make it for you. That sounds like so much fun.
Also, I figured I'd share some of my photography with you: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62505713@N02/
Yes, there are pictures of me mixed in there. xD Anyway, lemme know what you think!

It was, up until I was babysitting --' THAT sucked.
It would be so much easier if I was doing TOS uniforms. Velour top and polyester pants (I just finished reading about four books- two Shatner, one Takei, one Doohan). But no, I've gotta go with the 23rd century jumpsuit!
You have some impressive work in there. That one with the footprints on the beach is really cool. That one with the church tower (I think it was a church tower; tall building, blue and yellow)- that's a nice bit of architecture.
If there was a red bikini in there anywhere, I was gonna strike a noseblood, I'm not kidding ya! XD

--
I. Setting
II. Characters:
A. Protagonist and a bit about him/her (got that covered)
B. Antagonist and a bit about him/her (uh?)
C. Other minor characters (also got that covered)
III. Conflict and synopsis of the story (hmm...?)
IV. Theme (What is the point of your story?) xD Idk?
VI. Tone: What mood do you want to create? (i dunno... what mood do I want to create?)

I guess it was like a reverse hentai game or something. I haven't actually played one, of course, despite being an otaku of good standing XD
That and I'd be damn sexy in a jumpsuit.
Pffft. Could say THAT with a straight face! XD
Ah, I see. There's a church that looks like that not far from where I live, so that's where that came from. Subconscious assosciation. Loved the seagulls, too.
Let's see...
I. Space. The final frontier.
II.
A- check. Amy!
B- Antagonist- May I suggest those Bajoran terrorists? Or did you scrap that story line?
C- checkaroonie.
III. Depends on what you're going to have your terrorists do. Synopsis:
Space. The Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Well, it was suppose to be. Then Ensign Collins got reassigned to Deep Space Nine and dropped into the lap of Dr. Julian Bashir. She could totally kick his @$$. She could beat up Worf. She could toss Sisko out an airlock and remain unapologetic. She's that good.
IV. I would say 'exploration'. That's one of those words that everyone likes. Oh, and 'Missions of Peace'. And the old Star Trek standby: IDIC. Infinite Diversity for Infinite Combinations.
VI. Tone...well, Star Trek is a paced, thought provoking series. I tend to think of it as kind of a sedate, continuing saga, peppered with action and tasteful romance. How you would make that 'mood' I don't know.

Ooh! I just looked through that album again and you're right! It was a church. -_- my bad.
Hey, I bet you would! ;) I love me a man in uniform. Or... out of it. ;)
No I didn't! I think it works. And lmao at 'checkaroonie.'
Well, I haven't even decided. xD I mean, they're going to try to attack DS9, but the Odyssey will intercept the shot and mayhem will ensue. I could also have 'personal conflict' be how everyone sees her as the 'admiral's daughter' instead of Ensign Collins. Just rofl at that whole synopsis. Although I think she'd feel guilty for tossing Sisko out the airlock... unless he provoked her.
Well, it's supposed to be a short story, so I'm not sure if that will work. I'll find out tomorrow, I suppose! xD
Lol I'll figure it out. It's a rough draft for the rough draft. So anything goes, really, as long as it's filled out. You've helped a lot. Brb, I'm filling out the outline!

It happens. It could have gone either way, because now that I think about it, there's also a skyscraper that looks like that around here XD
I found out that you can actually get a ST II:WoK starfleet jacket for regular use. The dork in me is going bananas at that. Oh, and the news that they invented an animatronic, interactive tribble.
:D
oh, that's a good one. The personal conflict part. I coudl see a teacher eating that one up.
Feel free to use that synopsis, btw XD
Do you know what sort of thing the teacher is looking for. Is it supposed to be some 'human nature' observation. Like 'Everyone has a mission'?
Glad to be of service :)

Hi!
I just realized that in my DS9 chapter I made a mistake (soon to be corrected). Calling the Rio Grande, Hudson, etc 'Runabout Class' Vessels is a mistake. That's just an informal name. If you mention the class, the correct term is 'Danube class'. I just realized that --'
Hope you're doing well tonight! I'll be around later.

Hmm...well, since I don't know what the incident is (and don't tell me; I want to be surprised!), I can only offer a couple ideas.
The first would mean altering the timeline. Perhaps you could note that Amy's discontent with her father's interference is not a new thing- maybe he pulled some strings to get her into Starfleet Academy a semester or two earlier, for example.
The second is that you could always have her be a cadet on a training mission when whatever it is happens.
Oh my God, I had THE hokiest (and yet, strangely almost satisfying) dream. 'I' was on DS9, as my character. But at the same time, I was myself, watching the whole thing from a cameraman's perspective. The 'camera' me was wearing the old uniforms- the ones that started with ST2: Wrath of Khan, I believe. (this was before my mini movie marathon, so it's not recent. This was before I knew you were an ST fan).
So, apparently all this crap has happened, and now Holmes his going in for his big scene- the hero's kiss with Dax. We go to the deserted upper level of the promenade at about 4 am earth time (my 'camera' self has his hands behind his back, watching Spock-like). Now the ridiculous part- with the setting perfect, complete with stars in the background, we move in for the kiss. Holmes reaches up- ridiculously, as apparently Dax is near eight feet tall in this installement, on his tiptoes and hugs her. He is about face level with her chest, standing normally. He makes his move and snakes his arm around her waist and upper back. She is shocked for a moment, yes, but recovers quickly and indulges the young ensign (my camera self nods grimly, apparently pleased) by returning the embrace. They go in for the kiss. We are just centimeters away from the most epic kiss evah! And then, mirroring my real life self's incredible sense of timing-
Time to wake up.
...
I sit up, now wearing my sleepwear, and not attired in a starfleet uniform, not kissing Dax, not doing anything but trying to feel, in vain, for a Starfleet uniform, either DS9 jumpsuit or red jacket. No dice.
I am now awake, and all I can think of is how much life sucks.
lol, it was so hokey, though! The 'starlight kiss', where the battered young hero finally touches the unreachable goddess. lmao, it's so lame!
