I have to say. I was never the big scary kid so I actually got picked on at least for the first couple of years. I got picked on verbally for years but it only took a few peoples mistakes to keep me from being physically hurt by anyone. You are right. I would have been terrified to tell my master I was in a fight. He would have well you've heard about my master. I'll let you imagin it. I never actually made offensive strikes in a fight. But some defensive moves can hurt just as badly. Yeah. I should have let the school sue me and then put up a counter suit. I'm not one much for the whole sueing thing but that would have been a just case. Anyway. Yeah why do some people think that martial artists are just loose cannons waiting to explode. Before they teach you anything of a dangerouse nature (well of a deadly nature at least) most schools teach enough dis. to make sure you can control yourself. Most true martial art schools won't even teach you certain things if they don't trust your status enough.

Yeah. They prepare you for the real world of following orders and keeping you head down to be walked all over. They tend to punish free thinkers and self reliant and self defending people. Not every school but that's how they are around here. During my time in public school they liked to try and keep me on a leash and lable me as a trouble maker because of my aversion to being intimidated. I was actually threatened to be sued by the school because my status in martial arts. They said it made me to dangerous to the other students because I could kill with little effort if provoked. I never said any of that but that's what they assumed. Sigh. Anyway. Sorry to rant as it got off subject a bit. I have to say that they prepare you for what they think is important in life and only that. They have no desire to teach honor respect and integrity. They teach you to hide behind others and follow their rules blindly.

I agree. It isn't wise to try and hide the world no matter how corrupt it seems. I also agree with you about what you said about it setting a mixed up signal when the bullies are let off and the one defending is punished. I know that one personally having suffered from it myself. Anyway.

Yeah. I agree. They make it an interesting thing what they show on television. Anyway. Our society eats it up though. Oh and I agree the seemingly provocative things they show in anime are usually quite harmless and funny. Lol. Sorry if I seem distracted. I'm kinda sidetracted with the show. Lol.
